Sabbath, January 8, 2022 at the Liberty and Health Alliance Event

On Sabbath, January 8, 2022, the Liberty and Health Alliance continued their two-day celebration with further presentations and seminars on health and freedom. What makes this summit so important is that we heard from medical doctors, scientists, and other health professionals, validating many of the questions and concerns that several of us have had. And, in this age when our modern culture is suppressing unpopular viewpoints, it truly is a blessing to have the opportunity to hear the other side of the story.

The day began with a discussion between Dr. Lela Lewis, President of the Liberty and Health Alliance, and Dr. Peter McCullough on how the medical establishment is limiting the conversation around Covid to a single narrative that says, “Take the vaccine, period.” Unfortunately, that is the extent of the conversation on Covid today. They went on to say that it is their mission as doctors and scientists to figure out how Covid came to be and how to effectively treat and prevent it. As a result, they are disappointed that health officials in charge of assessing the Covid outbreak have limited the information that can be shared.

Dr. Michael Hasel followed them and gave a talk called “Why Does History Matter Today?” Dr. Hasel is a historian, and for most of his career he has dedicated himself to studying military tactics in ancient and modern civilizations. He explained that mankind has always used “brutal” tactics to “conquer” and “control” populations. He also explained that totalitarian powers during the 20th century, especially the Nazis, used mass propaganda, coercion, and force to push their agenda.

Dr. Hasel asked the audience, “What does NAZI stand for? National Socialist German Workers’ Party.” He then stated that he “thought” we had already fought that war, but now it’s back in our midst. He then made the following sobering statement: “We are at war today. I don’t believe it is a war against a virus, although that is perhaps part of it. It is not a war against a vaccine. We have the freedom to choose to take that or not. But it is a war against an ideology that would use this virus to threaten the very freedoms that our Constitution and Bill of Rights stand for. We are at war against a globalist agenda that would attempt to reset humanity for the common good … but I want to ask you a question today: In this war, who decides what is for the common good? Is it a few people or a few elites? Or is it the people? Today, we are at war for the very soul of our country and our families, and not only for our country, but for the whole of western civilization.

Dr. Ben Carson appeared on video and addressed the meeting. Dr. Carson indicated that he has worked in politics, but that he is not a politician since politicians make decisions based on expediency, but he does not. He stated that he did not retire after serving in the Trump administration because he believes the United States is on the wrong track. He claimed that liberty is what makes this country a blessing to the rest of the world. When we lose this value, Dr. Carson explains, we lose all of our own independence. Today’s politicians, he claims, are making people’s lives difficult. That is why God inspired our Founding Fathers to create a document that gave the people a tool to constrain the government. Clearly, Dr. Carson opposes the abuses that we are witnessing now. People, not the government, according to Dr. Carson, should be the primary concern.

Dr. Carson explained how Marxists are known for infiltrating societies and changing them by creating chaos and confusion. He said that they began identifying groups of people and blaming them for all the problems. And by eliminating them, everything will be fine. Sadly, Carson warned, deionization and oppressive restrictions would soon follow.

Dr. Carson spoke about the evil of abortion, the need for repentance, and seeking God in our personal and public lives. He spoke about natural immunity that is not being acknowledged by our leaders. He said these Covid vaccines are a new technology and we don’t know what the long-term effects are. He concluded that we the people need to stand up for liberty. God is calling us to protect the freedoms of all people. He asked us what we could do to protect our liberties and reminded us that a little persecution here on earth, against the backdrop of eternity, is not much.

We would like to express our gratitude to the Liberty and Health Alliance for hosting this event. It’s reassuring to know that not everyone subscribes to the globalist, secular and Marxist worldview. Because biblical truth and morality supports life and human liberty, such beliefs are incompatible with the gospel of Christ. The Remnant Church of God is not a movie theater or a baseball stadium that can be shut down and dismissed as nonessential. We are not an entertainment venue or a United Nations non-governmental organization (NGO). We are the church of Christ, and we worship a sovereign God who has given us a voice and a mission to carry out His plan. In light of eternity, we are the most important institution in the 6,000-year-old controversy, despite what the world says. And long after every earthly authority has passed, the Remnant Church of God will continue to exist in God’s kingdom for all eternity.
