Pro-abortion Riots have Already Broken Out, Putting Police Officers in Danger

Pro-abortion anarchists and rioters took to the streets of Los Angeles on May 4, 2022, to protest the likelihood of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. They are rioting, protesting, causing traffic and business disruptions, as well as attacking pro-life citizens and police officers. These protests highlight the country’s deep divide on the issue of abortion.

Why do some people believe that the world is ending because of possible abortion restrictions? Have we evolved to the point where we believe our rights and freedoms are dependent on our ability to kill our own children?

What went wrong with so many Americans who have become desensitized to the value of human life? How can rational people riot and protest for the right to kill babies, a horrific and heinous crime? Have we truly become a culture obsessed with death? In America, we have a terminal illness from which we will never fully recover.

When we alter the definition of right from wrong, we create a society where there are no absolutes. Abortion, assisted suicide, drug use, pornography, gender disorder, the redefinition of marriage, and many other previously unaccepted practices have now become socially acceptable and even fashionable.

Abortion is being portrayed as the most important right we have as a country, even more important than religious freedom and free speech. The right to dismember children in their wombs is the new liberty that Americans are fighting for because many people do not want to be bothered with making commitments and shouldering the burden of raising and nurturing their children.

Children are a gift from God (Genesis 33:5), and their births are supposed to be the happiest times in the lives of parents and families. Not anymore. Educators, politicians, and even some members of the clergy are now preaching that our morality, values and priorities must change to keep up with the times.

Western society has accepted the notion that there is no absolute truth. Our educational institutions, entertainment industries, and many churches all follow this philosophy. This way of thinking is destroying our families and leads to a complete disregard for everyone’s life, including the unborn.

Our greatest danger does not come from our adversaries on the outside. Our most serious problem stems from within, not from without. We certainly have external enemies seeking to harm us, but the greatest threat to our country’s survival is internal division and infighting.

“And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.” Matthew 10:21.

The Bible predicts that in the last days, there will be a period of rebellion and lawlessness. Is another Civil War on the horizon, similar to the one our country experienced in the 1860s? Oh no, something far worse is on the way. Our country survived the Civil War crisis and remained united. What we are witnessing today is an attempt to impose a lawless revolution based on tyranny and anarchy on our country, which will result in complete desolation. Sinister forces seek to devastate and destroy our great nation, as well as its founding principles of liberty, the rule of law, and our Judeo-Christian heritage.

This truth is being emphasized by God. He identifies the source of our problem, and in great love and mercy, He offers us the only way to prevent our nation’s and any other society’s total and final destruction. No political scientist, seasoned politician, constitutional scholar or denominational leader could lay out the root of our problem with such precision and offer real solutions. Now hear what the Lord says:

“Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.” Isaiah 1:4-7.

The following is our only hope and salvation for our people and country:

“Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” Isaiah 1:16-20.
