On July 4, 2022, Seventh-day Adventists in Germany joined representatives of the different religions to pray for peace, work together, exchange ideas, increase mutual understanding, and “tackle the challenges of climate change together.” Religions for Peace, a local ecumenical chapter in Germany, organized this meeting. This organization is a multi-religious global coalition of churches from over 90 countries. The July 4, 2022 event was led by Dr. Elisabeth Naurath, Chairwoman of the German branch of Religions for Peace. [1]
Keep in mind that this is the same Religions for Peace coalition that recently expressed “delight at His Holiness Pope Francis’s visit as a message of peace and commits to continuing its work for interfaith dialogue, multi-faith action, peace and reconciliation.” [2] During this July 4, 2022 meeting, Dr. Elisabeth Naurath expressed the following:
“Elisabeth Naurath spoke out in favor of working not against each other but together for one world. ‘We need peace in order to be able to tackle the challenges of climate change together,’ she emphasized, calling on the clergy to use their means to promote peace. Seen worldwide, religions are growing and not shrinking. ‘We have a common hope.’ In addition, the federal chairwoman spoke out in favor of greater participation of women within religious groups. At the end, the clergymen joined the visitors in singing the peace song Shalom Chaverim. [3]
Mittelbayerische is the regional secular newspaper for Bavaria, Germany that published this report. One of the subtitles for the interfaith encounter that they published was titled “More Connected Than Separated.” In addition to promoting unity, a new “common hope,” and addressing the challenges of climate change, the following highlights were also provided by the local newspaper:
• “The things that unite us are far more than those that separate us,” said Pastor Martin Müller from the Catholic parish of Herz Jesu, explaining the group’s unifying thoughts. [3]
• “Buddhist cleric Bop-U Stabnau came along with Gjomu Yun-Dok Lee. The clergy presented a chanted mantra supported by a wooden sound box, a moktak.” [3]
• “Florian Fink was there for the first time for the Free Church of the Seventh-day Adventists.” [3]
• “The Jewish community sent their RFP (Religions for Peace) representatives Wladimir Barsky and Jakob Denisenko.” [3]
• “Clergymen from different religions have met several times a year to exchange ideas in order to increase mutual understanding.” [3]
• “Christian, Jewish, Muslim and Buddhist representatives prayed in the multi-generation house.” [3]
• “The Russian Orthodox Church also made a memorable singing contribution with two representatives.” [3]
• “Two Muslim representatives took part, Imam Birol Basara from the Regensburg Ditib community and Usman Naveed from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat community. Both imams shared suras from the Koran with the visitors in a memorable voice.” [3]
Vincent Cherry, a Seventh-day Adventist and former assistant director of Inner City Programs for the Northern California Conference, saw firsthand the dangers of Rome’s ecumenical movement when he visited the 1993 Parliament of World Religions in Chicago. We published his first-hand experience of this event, which you can read here. Recently, Vincent Cherry sent me the following remarks about the ecumenical movement, which we believe accurately describes what is happening in Adventism as we are drawn deeper and deeper into ecumenism every day:
It behooves me to consider why there are so many in our Seventh-day Adventist church who so flagrantly desire to mingle with the fallen Protestant (and Catholic) churches. We watch their videos, we listen to their sermons, we attend their seminars, and we expect to receive a blessing from these efforts, all the while dutifully neglecting the call to “COME OUT… AND BE YE SEPARATE”!
We are, at the very least, like a child begging for ice cream, or a heroin addict begging for another fix, knowing full well, after being admonished so many times, that these things are NOT GOOD FOR US! We have so many PRESENT TRUTH ministries that desire to feed us FRESH BREAD from HEAVEN’S BAKERY, and yet we are willing to sacrifice the precious truths that God has given this remnant church for the blatant untruths spewed out of the pulpits of fallen Babylon.
When will we realize that these churches have nothing to offer us and that we have everything to offer them? Even those who claim to be in the present truth are still dabbling in the errors of the Babylonian religion. WHY?
2 Corinthians 6:17: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”
Ezekiel 33:11: “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”
Early Writings, p. 124: “If God has any new light to communicate, He will let His chosen and beloved understand it, without their going to have their minds enlightened by hearing those who are in darkness and error. I was shown the necessity of those who believe that we are having the last message of mercy, being separate from those who are daily imbibing new errors. I saw that neither young nor old should attend their meetings; for it is wrong to thus encourage them while they teach error that is a deadly poison to the soul and teach for doctrines the commandments of men. The influence of such gatherings is not good. If God has delivered us from such darkness and error, we should stand fast in the liberty wherewith He has set us free and rejoice in the truth. God is displeased with us when we go to listen to error, without being obliged to go; for unless He sends us to those meetings where error is forced home to the people by the power of the will, He will not keep us. The angels cease their watchful care over us, and we are left to the buffetings of the enemy, to be darkened and weakened by him and the power of his evil angels; and the light around us becomes contaminated with the darkness.”

All the world having full unity on that train traveling at light speed to the grave and the trains conductor (Satan) is a stately man……
no Seventh Day Adventist should be involved in these Eccumenical gatherings,
This is the peace & safety message of warned of 1 Thessalonians 5:3
2 Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you,
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”

We must prepare for a major climate change that is facing the earth! It is foretold in the Bible and is known as the re-creation of the heavens and the earth, which will take place after the thousand-year period which follows the return of our Lord. All other climate related messages are Satan’s deception and waste of time.

This article should be called, “Less Connected to God and more Connected to the World.”

This is not just happening in Germany. We are seeing this movement to bring the churches together worldwide.

Thankyou brother Andy. Thankyou for giving the trumpet the certain present truth sound the people need to hear. As I read your report the following statement from the Lord’s messenger came to mind.
“As the storm approaches, a large class who have professed faith in the third angel’s message, but have not been sanctified through obedience to the truth, abandon their position and join the ranks of the opposition…. (this is happening now for the ‘storm’ is approaching without doubt)….By uniting with the world and partaking of its spirit, they have come to view matters in nearly the same light; and when the test is brought, they are prepared to choose the easy, popular side. Men of talent and pleasing address, who once rejoiced in the truth, employ their powers to deceive and mislead souls. They become the most bitter enemies of their former brethren.” GC 608.2
Those who ignore the counsel and warnings of the Spirit of prophecy will of a certainty be deceived and become Satan’s agents. We are seeing this throughout the SDA church through the infatuation with ecumenism among the leadership and the embracing of the Laudato Si Sunday law climate change deception. ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand’, for ‘He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him’. Maranatha!

There is a purpose for this movement:
“The line of distinction between professed Christians and the ungodly is now hardly distinguishable. Church members love what the world loves and are ready to join with them, and Satan determines to unite them in one body and thus strengthen his cause by sweeping all into the ranks of spiritualism.” GC 588

We need to get back to our original mission and quit trying to please everyone.

I would like to know if the SDA General Conference has approved this meeting or is it a Divisional decision?
