Parade Magazine is a nationwide Sunday newspaper magazine that is distributed in more than 700 newspapers throughout the United States. It is America’s most widely read newspaper. On Sunday, November 13, 2022, it published 80 different “Happy Sunday” quotes to try to get its readership to accept that Sunday is a day of possibilities, dreams, and blessings. Quote #76 is a statement from Pope Francis telling people to keep Sunday as the Lord’s Day:
76. “Sunday is the Lord’s Day. Let us find time to be with him.” — Pope Francis. [1]
According to Parade Magazine, the 80 different Happy Sunday quotes were published for the following reasons:
Sunday. For some people, it’s a day to rise and shine early, put on their Sunday best and worship the Lord for all their blessings. Other folks spend a Sunday morning lazing about in pajamas, a cup of coffee in one hand and a book or newspaper in the other … Sunday is a day of possibilities and dreams. Think about the internal monologues that often run through your head on any given Sunday. If you are anything like me, they go something like this. ‘Will I get all of my errands done today after church? Maybe I should take the kids to the movies because that dirty laundry will still be there tomorrow. No, I am going to go grocery shopping and then do my meal prep for the week! But, it is raining out, so maybe it’s a good day to be lazy and just watch TV with the kids and take a nap.’ No matter how you spend your Sunday, be sure to take a moment and enjoy it. Enjoy the day for being the end of a weekend, and the start of a new week. Enjoy the time with family and friends. Enjoy reconnecting with your faith. Let the possibilities of the week ahead inspire you. And enjoy this list of happy Sunday quotes! [1]
The 80 Happy Sunday quotes are designed to help people better understand the need to set Sunday apart as a special day. It’s an attempt to persuade people to keep Sunday holy or to enjoy it as a day of fun. Parade Magazine and other Sunday rest advocates are preparing people’s minds to keep Sunday. They are trying to build a relationship between society and Sunday observance.

With this kind of reasoning, they might as well just come out and say, “We need to pass a national Sunday law.” It is only a matter of time before they start, but we know that preparations are being made for a Sunday law “in disguise.”

The following statement describes our duty to warn against the Sunday movement and to boldly proclaim the true seventh-day Sabbath. It is our duty to inform the public of the real issues:
“Sunday observance shall be enforced by law … And it is not until the issue is thus plainly set before the people, and they are brought to choose between the commandments of God and the commandments of men, that those who continue in transgression will receive the mark of the beast.” Great Controversy, p. 449.

Members of Ellen G white are fake Sabbath keepers. They don’t share that same covenant with the Israelites first and foremost.
1. In Deut 5:15 it is clear that Sabbath keeping started when the Israelites pass through the Reed Sea from Egypt. God wanted them through Mosses to observe Sabbath to remind them of this event. Secondary reason is that, it shadows 7th day of creation. BUT, TAKE note, Mosses and Aaron are authors of the book of Genesis wherein the creation story follows a sequential days but on the other side of the gospel it is also written that One day is like a thousand years and a thousand, one day” therefore it has to be understood contextually. Is the number of days in creation literal or figurative? Of course it’s not literal.
Christians are under the New Covenant with Christ not under Mosses.
