After a Decade at the Vatican, Pope Francis’ Encyclicals have Attracted “Widespread Attention Outside the Church” and are Advancing an “International Order”

Ever since the introduction of sin, our world has gravitated towards a corrupt global structure supported by a false religious ideology and backed by political power. The Tower of Babel, the Pharaohs, the ancient cultures where the king also served as the high priest, and the Papacy are examples of this. During those times, political and religious power was held by rulers who were regarded as divine. They defined religious practices and maintained peace within society.

We have never been closer to seeing the restoration of a geopolitical-religious order than what we are seeing today. Many international factors such as the pandemic, the economy, immigration, the so-called climate crisis, and other events are pushing us towards a new global order, not just a political one, but one that is based on Catholic principles and modeled after the Papacy.

Today is the 10th anniversary since Pope Francis assumed the papacy. “US Catholic” just published a summary of Pope Francis’ ten years as pope. The following alarming and prophetic statements were made by “US Catholic” during their overview of Pope Francis’ experiences and accomplishments:

“Unlike some of his predecessors, Pope Francis has written few encyclicals, the most authoritative statements of papal teaching. The ones he has written, however, have tended to attract widespread attention outside the church. His encyclical Laudato Si’ (On Care for Our Common Home) played an important role in building momentum for the 2015 Paris Climate Accords, an agreement the pope called ‘historic’.” [1]

“In 2020, Francis published the encyclical Fratelli Tutti (On Fraternity and Social Friendship), a reflection on what he called ‘fraternity and social friendship.’ Francis used the parable of the Good Samaritan to argue for greater solidarity between nations, cultures, and faiths to meet the global challenges of poverty, migration, and environmental degradation. Issued at a time when political parties based on nationalism and ethnic chauvinism had taken power in countries around the world, Fratelli Tutti was a strong faith-based defense of multicultural democracy and the rules-based international order.” [1]

The world is truly following the lead of the Vatican as it welcomes the teachings of Pope Francis. Prophecy is coming to fruition. The framework for the new political, social, and religious system for the coming order is clearly being constructed on the basis of Laudato Si’ and Fratelli Tutti. Political leaders from all over the world are looking to Rome to help them align their governments and economies with the principles of papal encyclicals.

Political, Economic, and Religious Power

States are being transformed by the Vatican into governments that uphold the Roman Catholic faith and papal economic principles. The same is true for churches. Our world is being transformed. The true student of prophecy cannot help but draw a link between the influence of this apostate church and what is predicted in the book of Revelation.

“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” Revelation 17:12, 13.

This is describing political leadership. The beast will hold a significant amount of political power.

“He causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:16, 17.

God’s prophetic word also tells us the beast will be involved in economic leadership. The Vatican has spoken out on a variety of economic issues, such as Sunday rest by law, income inequality, the rights of workers, immigration, and the importance of caring for the environment. Catholic social teaching is designed to directly influence and guide nations in their economic decision-making.

“And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” Revelation 13:15.

Rome will receive worship from the world through the enforcement of state power. This is describing the spiritual dominance and influence of the papacy. Pope Francis is today recognized as the global figurehead and one of the last moral authorities in the world. [2] This false ecclesiastical system will use the state to impose her teachings. That is why the Bible calls him the Antichrist.

The state’s duty is to punish crime, while the church’s mission is to save sinners. The roles of the state and religion are very different from one another. The state has never been given the authority to impose religious belief requirements on its people. God wanted the individual’s conscience to be unrestricted in matters of faith. However, the beast of Bible prophecy wants religious obligations to be governed by legislation and made a matter of compulsion.

The conflict with the beast and his image is inevitable. But the outcome of this conflict is not in doubt. God will interpose to save his people. Even though Satan’s final act will be to unite the earth in worshiping the beast, receiving his mark, and trying to completely destroy the saints, God has declared that His people will ultimately prevail.

“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.” Revelation 15:2, 3.
