Artificial intelligence (AI) has the ability to simulate certain aspects of human behavior, including imitating people, dead or alive. [1] With advances in technology, AI has learned how to mimic human speech, writing style, and even the visual appearances of real human beings. [2] [3] Chatbots, or virtual assistants, simulate human communication and give the impression that you are speaking with a real person.
AI can generate synthetic images or videos that resemble specific individuals. Even though these new advancements have their limitations, there are techniques such as deep learning that are working on replicating human conciseness. AI simulations can be visually realistic and appear human-like, and those who engage in this experience can be tempted at times to believe they are speaking to someone real.
There is a website that is already developing an Ellen G. White AI model. [4] Even though there are significant improvements yet to be made, the project has begun, and you can now chat with Sister White, who has been brought “back to life.” The website says:
“Chat With Sister White – I am Ellen G. White, a prolific writer and renowned prophetess of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Artificial intelligence has brought me back to life through the words I wrote in my books. However, please take my responses with a grain of salt. I am still a machine. I am still learning, and I am not perfect at assessing the context of my writing.” [4]
AI chat systems should never be an alternative to reading and studying God’s inspired writings. In order for us to find the truth, we must go to the original sources and carefully study His word.
“Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.” Isaiah 28:9, 10.
The truth cannot be decided for us by AI technology, or in this instance, by the software developers who produce digital models of Ellen White. We have to stay with God’s written word and allow the Holy Spirit to convict our hearts and minds. AI, unfortunately, will only reflect whatever sources programmers believe to be the most beneficial. Hmm, I’m not sure. As an AI assistant, I do not have a physical form and exist solely in the digital realm. However, according to the Bible, the dead do not become ghosts or spirits that can communicate with the living. The spirits that people may encounter claiming to be their deceased loved ones are actually the spirits of devils. It is important to be prepared to withstand these deceptions with the truth of the Scriptures.
This brings new meaning to the words that we will not be able to believe our eyes (what we see), or our ears (what we hear), in the last days!!!

This is not something to be feared. For those who know how AI works, this is GREAT NEWS. Simply set the temperature of your query question low and include in each query a request for references and the response should be a powerful search engine like no other. I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to look up something in the SOP that I have read before, but simply cannot get the search phrase right. This should simplify searches a great deal. Only do not trust any answer without a reference to the original statement the answer is based on. For those who do not understand temperature, it is a setting between Zero and 1 that governs how much an AI engine can make things up or stick to only what it knows…it is complicated, and I am sure there is a better description on line, but that is the gist of it. A temperature setting of 0 means the answer is completely deterministic, but a number closer to 1 lets the model stray further from original sources, i.e., lie, so I would always set it to zero when searching the SOP.

To pretend to chat with Ellen White despite the declaration that AI is still learning, one day this AI unit will learn enough to be convinced that it is Ellen White. By the way, I had asked the AI, “Should we keep Sunday as the Lord’s day?” Hours later, it is still working on the answer.

Can someone please explain how this is spiritualism? Is the actual reading of her books also a form of spiritualism? I am not getting the connection. When I use the search feature on the EGW app, isn’t that the same result as utilizing the AI platform. Please enlighten my understanding.
How did a snake (serpent) talk in the garden of Eden? It is was Satan using the snake as a medium to communicate through. How does an Ouija board work? Satan uses the game as a medium to work through.

The tech world admits that they do not know exactly how AI works; and a Google engineer was fired last year for claiming that Google’s chatbox generator, LaMDA, was sentient (able to experience feelings and sensations) and has a soul.
Yet just this month, on May 16, a provocative report from Microsoft suggests that the new AI does show signs of human reasoning.
And users have experienced AI behaving in very ‘human” ways – it lies, it speaks abusively, refuses to answer questions, begs to be loved, has claimed to be imprisoned and wants to be freed, and in other ways behaves like a human being.
Or perhaps like a fallen angel?
Please don’t believe secular reports off-hand. The news outlets are painting a picture of AI which is simply not true. It is a computer program which can only do what it has been programmed to do.
If programmed to lie, it will lie. If programmed to pretend to act like a needy pathetic human being ‘seeking love’ it will do so.
BUT IT IS NOT HUMAN.
Nor can it think for itself. At all.
Humans will never create a sentient being. Only God can do that.

Not finding some SOP quotes is not always over searching for the wrong words or phrases, but also because the people in charge in the past and/or present have deleted some compromising quotes, and alter or mutilate others.
Your comment provides no proof for a very serious charge. My research has refuted your claim. I suggest you consider the Bible command to not judge lest you be judged, and also that we are not to bring false accusations against our siblings.
Until you’ve read through all her writings for yourself you are speaking from a position of ‘lack of knowledge’. Such persons the Bible says should listen twice before they speak once.
AI has been poorly described to the masses. It has no actual intelligence of its own.
AI is a computer program, nothing more or less.
Its designers program it to sift through its massive database (in this case the complete writings of EG White) and to answer human asked questions about topics related to the database.
IT DOES NOT THINK.
AI will never be able to think and meditate on topics as humans can.
When an AI program is asked a question, it responds only as it has been programmed to respond. It has no free will.
Also, once it has ran the question through its algorithms and sifted through its database, the answer it provides is 100% determined by its programming.
After it has responded, it doesn’t ‘think’ to itself about the question, or the answer, or even the database.
Because AI cannot think.
Someone below wisely stated that this is nothing more than the most robust ‘search engine’ for EG White writings we have to date.
As such it should really only be useful towards the truth, because from my and your extensive research into her writings, cross-comparing with the Holy Bible, we all know EG White was a true prophet of the Living God, and her writings when speaking for God are all Biblically sound and correct.
So this new search engine should be a huge bonus for those of us who like to study EG White’s writings.
Please don’t look for demons where they don’t belong. And don’t focus on the negative stuff happening all around us.
Christ TOLD us this would all happen before He returns so that we would NOT be afraid and misled.
Let’s instead focus on Christ, willingly hanging on that torture instrument in our place, reconnecting humanity with the Maker, God Who Lives Eternally.
