The Guyana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Youth Ministries Department hosted its 2023 Pathfinder and Masterguide Camporee on July 19–23, 2023. During the closing ceremony, the marching drum bands were brought out, which featured loud rhythms played on snare drums, bass drums, and cymbals (see video above). When the drum performances started, the Adventist youth immediately became excited and engaged. The audience was whipped into a frenzy of screaming, chanting, dancing, and jumping kids as the rhythmic beats intensified. Not long after, there was complete pandemonium, and the organizers lost control of the youth as they refused to go back to their seats.
This is a perfect illustration of the tragic state to which youth events have fallen. Our church-sponsored youth events have evolved into breeding grounds for disorder, uproar, and chaos as a result of the music and entertainment they choose. In these places of extreme confusion, noise, rapture, and mayhem, where is the sweet voice of the Holy Spirit? Unfortunately, He is not to be found.
“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” 1 Corinthians 14:33.
“Let all things be done decently and in order.” 1 Corinthians 14:40.
You can tell such chaotic and boisterous environments are devoid of the presence of God when those in leadership can’t even control the kids at our camps. It really doesn’t take much intelligence to figure that out. Keep your children away from such influences. These rowdy events are gateways to more dangerous forms of sinful entertainment. There is no difference between some of our church’s youth activities and the traditional rhythmic movements witch doctors and tribal dancers make when they are under the influence of demons.
Naturally, we wouldn’t dare make such a claim if inspiration hadn’t already forewarned us of this.
“A bedlam of noise shocks the senses and perverts that which if conducted aright might be a blessing. The powers of satanic agencies blend with the din and noise to have a carnival, and this is termed the Holy Spirit’s working” (Last Day Events, p. 159).

My Bible does not say it depends on where you are in the world as to how you should act or play music or worship. We should lift up the brethren to the standard of the Word of God and not lowered to the standards of the world and what man thinks depending on where they are at in the world..

So when the Bible tells us that everything must be done decently and in order this video evidence of what took place is to be evidence of order? I guess we are to believe this is order and not what our lying eyes plainly tell us it is…

The video not only proves it did happen, it was prophesied to happen.

When the camp meeting is ended, the good which ought to have been done and which might have been done by the presentation of sacred truth is not accomplished. BRYAN; I agree with you, I felt a demonic spirit, just watching it. Won’t watch it again.
Perhaps you can’t see that because the author of this was selective in their presentation. Nevertheless I’m speaking from experience as a camper that attended the camporee. The crowd eventually settled and the service continued, an alter call was made and people walked up to the alter and gave their lives to Christ. I’m sorry that you couldn’t witness that but people found Jesus that night.
So if we have baptisms after a night of debauchery, that makes it ok? I have a hard time following the reasoning, here, connecting the dots between shaking it all night and resolving to follow Jesus all the way. Something’s not adding up.
These leaders are shallow and completely out of touch. How can they expect to whip them up into a mindless frenzy then expect them to switch to thoughtful reverence. Stupidity. As Pr. Andrew Henriques says, they are “buffoons” and “nincompoops.” Stating it in this way is ever so mild and kind, in my opinion.
This is such a stark, correct-in-every-detail fulfillment of the prophecy that was uttered for our admonishment and instruction, through the instrument of a little lady with a pen in her shaky hand, that nobody can gainsay, except they be agents of Satan. Period. There is no other way to put this. These are devil-influenced, blind guides. They have their reward. Jesus called for a millstone.
They are building up wrath unto the day of wrath. SdA leaders: REPENT!

There is no way that you can say that we don’t know or understand the context.
In 2001 my wife at the time, and I went to the WA Conference camp meeting at the Auburn Academy. I personally witnessed the “youth meeting” that was away from the may meeting area. I was absolutely livid when I witnessed the disco ball, loud music and absolute chaos that was before me.
I pulled one of the so-called pastors aside and lit into him about what was happening. I was told that we need to be open on how we bring the youth into the church. The traditional way of worship is not working and the youth are leaving.
What I witnessed on this video and others that have come, out proves that the SDA Church has become the world.
I’m no saint but the corporate church will soon start falling at a much rapid rate. People that are looking for the truth will turn around and walk out because the SDA Church is just like the ones that they left.
Lay people, the time is coming when you will need to stand in the gap and show those that are seeking the truth the character of Christ. The career minded pastors and leadership will and are currently ineffective for the task at hand.
