It seems that Seventh-day Adventists throughout the world today are becoming more and more disillusioned with their leadership and disappointed in the direction in which the church is headed. There is good reason for this. Over the past few years, in particular, there has been a radical shift by leadership away from the principles that set the Seventh-day Adventist Church apart from others. Worldly principles and ideologies have gradually supplanted the foundational beliefs and practices that once defined us. But thankfully, these vestiges of our faith are still dearly embraced by enough of the laity to keep them alive. Nonetheless, the dismantling of a centuries-old legacy continues undaunted, and the reason for this is truly unsettling.
An article appearing in the September issue of Adventist World entitled “Religious Liberty Event Pays Tribute to 130 Years of Advocacy” inadvertently drives home the staggering reality of our leadership’s foray into postmodernism and relativism that has led to its departure from a traditional Biblical worldview. It presents a glimpse of hypocrisy so profound that it even rattled my normally calm and composed demeanor. To be blunt, it is an insult to one’s intelligence.
The Adventist World article recaps the events of the International Religious Liberty Association (IRLA) meeting of August 21–23. It underscores the comments made by Ted Wilson in his opening address, as well as those of the IRLA secretary-general, Ganoune Diop. Wilson was quoted as saying, “Adventist pioneers … saw in religious liberty an incontrovertible value without which our very humanity could be at risk of being diminished and impaired.” Not to be outdone, Ganoune Diop defined religious freedom as “the right to profess, practice, and propagate one’s beliefs without coercion, intimidation, or manipulation.” He went on to say that religious freedom is “freedom from being forced to do something that is against one’s deeply held convictions or against one’s conscience.” This rather noble, high-sounding rhetoric presents a stifling paradox to perhaps millions of Seventh-day Adventists around the globe whose rights were trampled upon by the reckless authoritarian practices instituted by these and others in church leadership during the Covid pandemic. Of course, these self-professed men of God, whom many in the church consider to be paragons of virtue, did not consider the pushback by millions of church members against the vaccine and the mandates as having anything to do with freedom of conscience or personal religious conviction. Not at all. It was a matter of inarguable scientific principles. Why? Because Anthony Fauci and others in the medical-industrial complex said so. This apparently made it alright and perhaps even altruistic to institute papal-like practices in order to be in lockstep with the crowd.
Even to this day, they flatter themselves by believing that they were doing God service, just as the militant arm of the papal power did during the inquisitions. Then it dawned on me. Their zeal to render to Caesar what is Caesar’s without considering the second part of that same Bible verse was, and still is, motivated by the fact that they actually believe this drivel despite a plethora of credible scientific evidence to the contrary. Naturally, they will not bother to fact-check any of it because it is far easier to label individuals as dissenters, conspiracy theorists, or political hacks that must be marginalized because they do not agree with them rather than consider another viewpoint. So, in other words, the leadership’s personal conviction becomes ours, whether we like it or not. These rogue administrators know absolutely nothing about virology or epidemiology or care to, but they believe the rabble, and their perspective becomes the law. It is clearly a reflection of what is happening politically on a broader scale in our country and a harbinger of the kind of totalitarian control that may ultimately reign if we allow this trend to disparage critical thinking and upend personal conviction to continue unimpeded.
In reference to a particular disagreement with E.J. Waggoner over a matter involving the law in Galatians, E.G. White made this profound statement that hits the nail on the head for the preceding:
“I have not changed my views in reference to the law in Galatians, but I hope that I shall never be left to entertain the spirit that was brought into the General Conference. I have not the least hesitancy in saying it was not the Spirit of God. If every idea we have entertained in doctrines is truth, will not the truth bear to be investigated? Will it totter and fall if criticized? If so, let it fall, the sooner the better. The spirit that would close the door to investigation of points of truth in a Christlike manner is not the Spirit from above.” {9MR 216.4}
The rather stifling contradiction in Wilson and Diop’s tribute to the church’s stand on freedom of conscience was driven home for me when I was invited to speak at one of our churches in Colorado recently. Shortly after their board extended the invitation, I learned that I had been banned from speaking at churches throughout the Rocky Mountain Conference (RMC). Why? Because I had challenged the Covid mandates and how they were handled by those in church leadership. From what I was told, this set off a dispute between the Colorado church, their pastor, and the RMC. It appears that the matter is not too dissimilar to that of the now-well-known controversy involving the Roanoke church and the Potomac conference over an appearance by Stephen Bohr. This new guest speaker-bashing is happening in other venues as well. While the reasons given for such rejections by the various conferences involved are not the same, the underlying principles certainly are. It is all about the leadership imposing their will upon the laity—the very same laity that gave them their position in the first place and supports their tenure through tithes and offerings. It is about a move to undercut decisions made by church boards duly elected by church membership.
Perhaps it would be somewhat understandable in a matter involving major theological differences or erroneous teachings such as those promulgated by Desmond Ford and his ilk. But that is not the case surrounding my repudiation by the RMC. During the more than twenty years I have been speaking at churches around the country and on television, I have never said anything contrary to the principles that founded our church. This is a fact. Rather, the reason for the rebuff by the RMC is based entirely upon my purported challenge to our leaders on Covid-related issues. Certain scientific facts I had shared in print and from the pulpit to drive home a Biblical point—facts that are now surfacing even in the mainstream media—did not agree with their particular brand of reality. The problem is that the Conference at large subscribes only to government-approved “facts.” While this may represent their view on the matter, it is certainly not that of millions of other Seventh-day Adventists.
“The religion of Jesus is endangered. It is being mingled with worldliness. Worldly policy is taking the place of the true piety and wisdom that comes from above, and God will remove His prospering hand from the conference….. Shall the true doctrines and principles given us by God, which have made us what we are, be ignored? …. This is directly where the enemy, through blinded, unconsecrated men, is leading us.” {21MR 448.3}
This unbiblical and authoritarian trend is now happening everywhere, as many know by now. And if you dare to disagree with the church leadership, even when moved by the scriptural authority given in Isaiah 58:1, you may very well be censured, discredited, and deplatformed—a practice notoriously employed by Big Tech and the media. It is also remarkably similar to the Catholic Church and the Jesuit Order. It admonishes sincere Seventh-day Adventists of the fact that one simply does not dare to disagree with leadership decisions, whether they are right or wrong, scientific or unscientific, Biblical or unBiblical. It is the prerogative of these officials to do what is right in their own eyes, unrestrained and undisturbed by those who they purportedly represent. It is a carbon copy of what is happening in America’s political arena. It is just a matter of time until there is broad acceptance across our conferences of woke ideology, including the introduction of LGBTQ ideals, transgenderism, and other aberrant societal trends that will ultimately be grafted into church leadership. That is, unless our membership says no, enough is enough.
“My spirit was pained within me, for I had lost confidence in that which I had ever presented before the people as the voice of God to His children. It has not been the voice of God. There has been a lording power exercised over God’s heritage in decisions which were not dictated by the Spirit of God. Unconsecrated men who were brought in connection with the work have exercised their own wisdom, and have woven into the work their own unconverted peculiarities. Their own principles have been counterworking the principles of truth and righteousness. We cannot therefore present before the people that the voice of the General Conference in its decisions must move and control them; for its propositions and decisions cannot be accepted. They are not in the right line of progress. God is dropped out of their counsels.” {17MR 221.2}
It is no secret that church leaders and organizations accepted funds from various government programs during the pandemic, ultimately placing them in the position of being beholden to government interests. The groundwork for this tragic mistake was actually laid when the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists became a 501c3 decades ago. Therefore, any statements that challenge the common narrative, whether they come from the pulpit or the classroom, must be squelched in order to avoid conflict with government agencies, presently and in the future. This is a no-brainer. As a result, we will have few options for staving off the ongoing intrusion by worldly ideologies into the church, and the membership will suffer the consequences. It is the same dilemma faced by ancient Israel when their leaders decided to form partnerships with heathen cultures, ultimately leading to their destruction. The bottom line is that none of this is about theology anymore. Nor is it even about Christianity. It is simply about a new breed of political gerrymandering.
“The voice of the General Conference has been represented as an authority to be heeded as the voice of the Holy Spirit. But when the members of the General Conference Committee become entangled in business affairs and financial perplexities, the sacred, elevated character of their work is in a great degree lost…The temple of God becomes as a place of merchandise, and the ministers of God’s house as common businessmen. Their work is brought down on a level with common things. Business cares and perplexities unfit them for the consideration of matters relating to the spiritual interests of the work, which require the keenest perception, the most careful thought, the most delicate tact, and the deepest spiritual insight.” {14MR 278.3}
The stakes are indeed high with the power grab by church leadership that was bolstered by the pandemic. I have had a couple of well-known pastors tell me that their conference presidents personally admonished them not to say a word about Covid, the LGBTQ movement, and other social issues of the day from the pulpit, or they may face possible expulsion. Guest speakers who are known to have discussed such matters in the past will be cancelled by the conference, even if the church board disagrees with the move. These strong-arm tactics have no place in a church, especially a Protestant church, or even in a secular institution, for that matter. Since when do we, as Seventh-day Adventists, pay homage to the world’s ideologies and so-called science anyway? What ever happened to the health message that has been one of the pillars separating our church from the others? Are our leaders so delusional as to believe that Ellen White would have condoned the use of experimental vaccines and drugs? Really? This severely flawed version of the health message, based on a myopic view of what she actually wrote, poses a peculiar paradox to any rational person. Yet, these leaders persist in foisting the world’s fallacies on millions of faithful Seventh-day Adventists. Even the illegally issued ADCOM Reaffirmation Statement still stands unscathed despite enormous pushback by members worldwide. Freedom of conscience? Obviously, the words spoken by Ted Wilson and Ganoune Diop at the IRLA meeting in August were nothing more than political theater. And this is probably an understatement. We need to stop play-acting and demand total transparency from these men.
The reason I am not mincing words on this subject is that, after 20 years as an elder in our church, I am quite frankly disgusted by the level of collusion that has engulfed the sacred commission God has given us. I am even more concerned about the fact that most of our membership has rested on its laurels and allowed these things to happen right under their noses. It is very much akin to the way our political leaders are literally committing felonies in broad daylight while a beleaguered populace sits silently by, watching their heritage being flushed down the drain. Sadly, one thing I have learned over the years in our church is that most of our members will not question authority or mount even the most meager challenge, despite plainly obvious evidence that something is seriously wrong. Quite frankly, they would rather roll over and play dead. They have been indoctrinated, apparently, by decades of pew-warming and empty messages from the pulpit. Ironically, this process of apathy and capitulation is no different from that of the rest of the world. A good example of this is when James D. Standish compared Seventh-day Adventists who challenged Covid mandates to Islamic terrorists. Standish had served in a number of prominent positions in the General Conference. Yet, when his outrageous comments were published by the Adventist Review last year, few even raised an eyebrow. Ironically, the Review was founded by James and Ellen White, who even in their day saw the potential for the corruption of our theology through the publishing work—a tragic outcome that we are witnessing in many of today’s publications endorsed by the General Conference.
There are many who will no doubt say that my comments are disrespectful to our church leadership. I am sure they would have said the same thing about Samuel reproving King Saul, Elijah’s scathing rebuke to Ahab, and Jeremiah’s pointed challenge to Zedekiah, just to mention a few. Bear in mind that these kings of Israel, much like the ‘kings’ we have placed in office today, rejected God’s counsels. The very process of voting for leaders in order to emulate other organizations in our society is the same mistake the children of Israel made when they demanded a king despite stern admonishments from the prophet Samuel. Now we have presidents, vice presidents, and other high-level administrators just like the rest of the world, and this hierarchical structure has unfortunately led to the formation of an unrestrained behemoth that has been running roughshod over its membership, as was clearly evident during the pandemic. It continues on today.
People must realize that they can no longer rely upon church leadership to make decisions that are in concert with what we believe as true Seventh-day Adventists. It is a foregone conclusion that these leaders will yield to worldly demands once again when the next pandemic rolls around. It is time for the laity to take more of the responsibility for the work away from a leadership that is inclined to do what is politically correct rather than Biblically correct. E.G. White said it quite plainly:
“It is working upon wrong principles that has brought the cause of God into its present embarrassment. The people have lost confidence in those who have the management of the work. Yet we hear that the voice of the Conference is the voice of God. Every time I have heard this, I have thought it was almost blasphemy. The voice of the Conference ought to be the voice of God, but it is not, because some in connection with it are not men of faith and prayer, they are not men of elevated principle. There is not a seeking of God with the whole heart; there is not a realization of the terrible responsibility that rests upon those in this institution to mold and fashion minds after the divine similitude.” {Manuscript 37, 1901, p. 8}
E.G. White did also say that “the work of God in this earth can never be finished until the men and women comprising our church membership rally to the work and unite their efforts with those of ministers and church officers” {9T 116.4}. But this presumes that those ministers and church officers are not making merchandise of our birthright and selling it to an apostate world. “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3).
All of us need to take a stand for the truth, regardless of the sacrifices that may be involved. The real work of the Gospel is not without sacrifice. The prophetic clock is ticking down, and if we are playing politics and dabbling with worldly philosophies and ideals, we will surely be lost. It is about time that we follow what the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy tell us rather than kowtowing to leaders who have turned their backs on the truth, despite their grandiose soliloquies boasting the contrary. Church leaders may choose to bow a knee to Baal; that is surely their prerogative. However, it is up to us, the laity, to do what the Lord expects of us, and that begins with obeying God rather than men.

We, the watchmen on the walls of Zion, are as much to blame for the fallen condition of the denomination as the leadership who are leading it down the path to perdition. When the Alpha of deadly heresy began to grow on it’s slow path to blossoming into the omega, why didn’t the watchmen give the trumpet a certain sound to rally the people? Perhaps because this is the end result that will bring about the last great struggle in the great controversy. It could be that God has permitted it to come to this so that his honest hearted people might perceive that like Judah of old, the denomi-nation has be left unto herself desolate, and the time has come to flee Jerusalem before the general destruction.
Susan Alexander says
Dear brother, there have been those who have spoken out, repeatedly, but they have been sidelined and ignored, looked upon as odd or even dangerous. There are many subjects to discuss under the topic of apostasy; none of them pleasant or popular. Most congregations have not been instructed in Bible truth as they should, and so do not study their Bibles or the Spirit of Prophecy. The world no longer sees SDAs as “people of the Book,” because in general, we aren’t. Most think that finding a text and filling in the blank on their Sabbath School lesson is “Bible study.” Most do not own Spirit of Prophecy books, and if they do, they are sitting somewhere collecting dust on a shelf. We are living in the typical day of Jeremiah and Ezekiel, as well as Daniel. When I say this to church members, I mostly receive a blank look. Most have no clear understanding of the Three Angels Messages, or the health message. Praise God for the faithful few! We must pray together, study together, encourage and exhort one another. And informative communication such as this article, is part of this process. We must also be sure we are constantly in submission to Christ, so that we do not mis-think, mis-speak, mis-step. We dare not! And this is only the beginning.
Eric Doering says
Thank you Sister Susan for your words. It is an encouragement to know that there still are 7,000 who have not yet bowed the knee to Baal, or at least like me, found out that that they were bowing the knee and determined by the grace of God to never do so again!
I find this website to be a great blessing, even though the news is generally of the sigh and cry variety. As my wife and I talk to other SDA’s and ask them if they are aware of the issues that are reported on here, we also frequently get the blank stare you referred to. We encourage them to become informed of the condition of the denomination, then study from scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy the reason why God says that evil fruits are being displayed. If there is evil fruit, then that is sure evidence that neither our heavenly Father nor his only begotten Son Jesus Christ are present – and where they are missing, so then is their Holy Spirit. They are not present because we, the denominated people of God, His watchmen, have turned away from the Father to serve a different God. This is literally the exact same thing that Israel did in the time of Hosea, when they bowed down, worshipped, and prayed to the heifer Baal. Same goes for Judah before the Babylonian captivity as they worshipped the gods of the heathen surrounding them.
How about in the time of Christ? Did the denominated people of God worship a false god? Here we find Satan’s tactics becoming more subtle. They rejected the Son of the one true God, even though (technically) their doctrine still upheld the worship of the heavenly Father, but we all know that the leadership was more interested in political gain than scriptural doctrine. What does John the beloved disciple tell us about this condition?
1 John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Ok, so the condition at the root of the of the Jews’ apostacy was that they did not have the Father, the only true God, by reason of the rejection of his Son. What does John further tell us goes together with this?
1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
I can’t highlight or bold, so I’ll emphasize by repeating – “He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.” Once again, applying this to the Jewish nation, they not only separated themselves from the Father, the God of Scripture, but they became ANTICHRIST by denying Jesus’ Sonship to the Father.
Now let’s look at the condition of the present-day SDA denomination to draw comparisons between ourselves and the Jews. Were we established as God’s special people? Yes. Did we originally believe that the Father is the one true God of the Bible? Yes. Have we, as a denomination, rejected the Sonship of Jesus? I will let the director emeritus of the Biblical Research Institute answer this question for us. This can be found at https://www.adventistbiblicalresearch.org/materials/a-question-of-sonship/:
“Fifth, the father-son image cannot be literally applied to the divine Father-Son relationship within the Godhead. The Son is not the natural, literal Son of the Father. A natural child has a beginning, while within the Godhead the Son is eternal. The term “Son” is used metaphorically when applied to the Godhead.”
There are literally dozens of statements from the BRI, the arm of the General Conference tasked with clarifying the doctrine of the SDA worldwide church, that are of a similar nature – all of them contradictory to a plain reading of scripture. These comments are traceable back to the adoption of a broken cistern which cannot hold water by the SDA denomination. We have changed our gods for that which are yet no gods. We are officially an orthodox trinitarian denomination, according to our leadership, despite what the membership thinks our beliefs are. For this reason, we as a people have changed our glory, as God’s denominated people, for that which doth not profit. Yes, be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the Lord. Since we have rejected the literal sonship of Christ to bolster our false god, thereby forsaking the Father, what was it that John would therefore call the modern Seventh-day Adventist denomination? “He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.” This is no small matter.
I don’t know how many of the people my wife and I talk to, or that here read posts like yours, actually go to their Bibles to see if these things are so, but based on the example of Elijah, of whom John the Baptist was an antitype, and of whom the 144,000 will be the final antitype, it is necessary for us to call the SDA people to repentance and reformation. Elijah did not direct himself to the gentile masses, but asked God’s people of Israel, “How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.” This same thing is what all the prophets have done ever since Noah – always a call to return to and serve the true God. I believe that candidates for the 144,000 must necessarily also pick up this message.
The first two angels’ messages must be preached to the SDA people before the 144,000 will be sealed. Those messages inform us of:
1) the identity of the One that we must worship,
2) the side upon which the SDA denomination has cast its lot with as a result of the rejection of the 1st message.
Sadly, Sister White informs us in Early Writings that those who reject the first message, will not be able to hear the 2nd message. This is what we are witnessing today. Those that refuse to accept the first angel’s message, calling SDA’s to come back to the worship of the Father, instead double down in defense of worshiping the indefensible trinity making them unable to perceive the deplorable, wretched, broken, apostate, etc. condition of the SDA denomination. As a result of this self-induced blindness, they are also unable to see that our beloved denomination has in fact become a sister unto Babylon. To some of this class, the acts that are reported on here by brother Andy Roman are merely a cause to call the membership to write letters to leadership so that they will miraculously change the direction the church has been headed in for over 100 years and it can become a pure church once again. To others, they denounce these acts, but continue presenting themselves every Sabbath at their local denomination church, expecting that everything will somehow work itself out, but God says:
Isaiah 1:6 “From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.”
and…
2 Corinthians 6:17 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”
and…
“I was shown the necessity of those who believe that we are having the last message of mercy, being separate from those who are daily imbibing new errors. I saw that neither young nor old should attend their meetings; for it is wrong to thus encourage them while they teach error that is a deadly poison to the soul and teach for doctrines the commandments of men. The influence of such gatherings is not good. If God has delivered us from such darkness and error, we should stand fast in the liberty wherewith He has set us free and rejoice in the truth. God is displeased with us when we go to listen to error, without being obliged to go; for unless He sends us to those meetings where error is forced home to the people by the power of the will, He will not keep us. The angels cease their watchful care over us, and we are left to the buffetings of the enemy, to be darkened and weakened by him and the power of his evil angels; and the light around us becomes contaminated with the darkness.” EW 124.3
It is on account of this incurable condition that Christ instructed the disciples that when they saw the sign, they must flee. The order He gave to escape was akin to the flight of Lot and his family… Remember Lot’s Wife… Christ says not to come back to get your things out of your house, do not even look back. As the SDA denomination, just as apostate Jerusalem, comes to the point of judgment and destruction, God gives a warning sign so that the people may flee. What is that warning sign? The abomination of desolation according to Matthew, also, Jerusalem (the denomination) encompassed about by armies according to Luke. Either way, it is a mingling together of church and state. Question, am I mistaken, or is not this what took place about 42 months ago (a.k.a. 1260 days, time, times, and a dividing of time) when basically every church (including SDA), in basically all the world was shut down by a coordinated mandate from basically every nation/state, basically at the same time? When in the history of humanity has that ever happened before? Is it possible that anyone could have missed it? I think not. That seems to me to be a significant warning sign of the same nature as Cestius encamping the Roman armies some furlongs outside of the walls of Jerusalem. What happened after that? Cestius withdrew and suffered great loss of life as the Jews picked off the Roman soldiers from the rear. Isn’t that what happened again? Didn’t the mandate (siege) against all churches suddenly withdraw? Then, didn’t many people start speaking up against what the church and state had colluded together to do? What happened after that? Titus came 3-1/2 years later and besieged the city and this time utterly destroyed it. Not one Christian died. Why, because they all followed the instruction of Christ and fled upon seeing the sign. I wonder, what might we expect will happen at some point soon? Could the lessons from the siege of Jerusalem have a literal act by act application to our time? It’s at least possible.
I have posted these sorts of things before because it seems to me to be the most important subject on earth for this time, but time is running out for the SDA people. By posting this as a reply to you, Sister Susan, I am not implying that it is directed at you. This is an open letter to all my SDA brothers and sisters that we must return to our true, original Adventist beliefs and individually once again be “the people of the Book”.

Matthew 23:1-8 fits well with this articles subject matter, except for doing what they say to do, that was potentially very deadly that time….
Personally I was raised to check my ingredients before consuming any products as a Seventh Day Adventist, cannot condone the ingredients in any of these elixirs,
Unclean animal components, HEK293-aborted fetal matter, Heavy metals, known carcinogenic ingredients etc,
New studies have come out linking them to Turbo Cancers,
Cancers which use to take Decades popping up overnight now,
This wasn’t the Health Message pushed it was The Health Message 💯 Rejected!
The so called leaders majored in Hypocrisy and caused many who trusted the church to err
Proverbs 11:9 “An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.”
Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”
Our Health laws were forgotten,
Elder Wilson & Diop should resign not double down and explain what Religious Liberty is,
That is salt in people’s wounds
They totally rejected that Liberty,
In Romans 13 The Word used Power(Exsousia)
actually means Liberty,
2 Corinthians 3:17 “…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
Galatians 2:4 “And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:”

Wow, what a message Mr. Suntag! That is absolutely spot on. I agree with the whole article. I believe now that the vast majority of baptized Seventh-day Adventists have become mere reflectors of other men’s thoughts from our false education. We have become lemmings, all heading over a cliff (but together as a community). Man following man and man’s confused ways instead of their God and His ways.
I and my wife have voiced many concerns of which the last one, which Eric Doering spoke of, caused us to become dSDA’s (disfellowshipped and not registered trademarked Seventh-day Adventists). To my knowledge (and obvious experience) this is the most sure fire way of becoming a dSDA. It proves who is into group think and who is coming and reasoning with their God.
Brothers and Sisters,
The new organization is nearly fully formed, armed with the state and is beginning to persecute. Watch out! Be on your guard. Unless this organization repents it could become the most valuable resource for the most persecuting power (Rome) ever known.
(Rev. 14:12, AV)
“12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
How can we believe this verse when the Seventh-day Adventist®️ Church has a new triune god? All 10 Commandments are broken right now including the fourth! The three angels messages depends on us understanding that God is the Father and His Son is a mirror express image of His Father. What is so complicated about this?
“Express image” of Heb. 1:3 is Gk for “charakter”
Col. 1:15 “image of the invisible God” is “eikon“
Until we stop looking to man (other denominations, the state and the ecclesiastical Church-state of Rome) and look to God through Christ we will be separated from our power, unity and love. The church had in 1872-1914 “entire unanimity” on doctrines (not creeds but a Fundamental Principles set forth for the non-Adventists for a snapshot). We now have creeds.
I believe repentance is possible yes, but the laity must now all wake up and voice God’s thoughts from the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy as a check against the kingly powers. We need a representative style of government back and God will raise up those leaders. Right now we must Cry aloud and spare not and call sin by its right name!
Blessings on this Sabbath!
Kevin B. Selby says
and again I will ask (as did brother John Grosboll waaaaay back in the 90s): WHO AND WHAT IS THE CHURCH?
If you believe the buildings, the 5013C garbage, the hierarchical (just like popery) organization and/or the absolute political voice of the SDA conference is “the church”, then you will have to square all the apostasy they have committed with the statements that “the church will go through”.
AND YOU CANNOT SQUARE THOSE. Can’t.
So…the church must be God’s true believers who obey the commandments of God and have the Spirit of Prophecy. What are you going to do when “the church” fully apostatizes and stops keeping the Sabbath or at least goes along with a Sunday law? You gonna keep saying “the church will go through…the church will go through…”. No. You aren’t. Because they aren’t the church.
Someone asked “where are the watchmen”? Well…here’s a hint: they probably ARE NOT “in the church”. Independent ministries popped up right as I was becoming an SDA and I saw the issue back then (even as a new member). The established “church” was going into apostasy.
Meanwhile, the papacy, as alerted by this very website, is seeking to gain its ascendency back…evil never sleeps, people.
It’s time to wake up and wake others up.

We need to pray for our leaders.

Amen brother… we must pray for their repentance like what happened to Saul of Tarsus so that they might stand up for and declare the truth. However, in so doing, they will then cease to be leaders of the denominational church. The corporate church has become a machine with unstoppable inertia. If one leader were to come to his senses and declare that the church is a duck (if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck…), then there would be hundreds, maybe thousands, of replacement candidates waiting in the wings. While the testimony of one leader, or even a dozen leaders, might give of their conversion could have an effect of awakening some in the denominational membership, the corporate church will not change. The point of no return has already been long passed. The corporate church has united with the world. For two, if not three generations, the leaders have been given an education in our schools to ensure their compliance with and commitment to the new religion. They have been taught that the doctrine that now is espoused, is greater than and supersedes the doctrine that the pioneers were given under the direction, guidance and inspiration of the Spirit of Christ. The arrogance of the system is described by Sister White in Early Writings in the chapter titled “The ADVENT Movement Illustrated”. In other words, she was given a vision, or dream, as an illustration of the Seventh-day Adventist movement. There can be little doubt as to whom and what she describes in the following pertains to [note, ALL CAPS are my emphasis]:
“The MINISTERS and LEADING MEN were passing around in these different companies, fastening the cords more firmly; but still I heard this voice of earnest prayer. Then I saw those who had been praying reach out their hands for help toward the united company who were FREE, rejoicing in God. The answer from them, as they earnestly looked to heaven, and pointed upward, was, “COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE SEPARATE.” I saw individuals struggling for freedom, and at last they broke the cords that bound them. They resisted the efforts which were made to fasten the cords tighter and refused to heed the repeated assertions: “GOD IS WITH US.” “WE HAVE THE TRUTH WITH US.”” EW 242.1
We are witnessing this taking place now, and it will only increase with time. The leaders go around binding the membership with cords… cords of tradition, cords of social responsibility (treasurer, sabbath school teacher, deacon, etc.), cords of doctrinal falsehood; all the while declaring in their hearing, “WE HAVE THE TRUTH, GOD IS WITH US.” If you keep reading through the illustration Sister White wrote, as well as the following chapter with “Another Illustration”, you will find that the leadership and the corporate church does not repent or change direction. This is a repetition of history as taught to us by the Jewish leaders and church of Christ’s time.
It is truly a fearful time in the history of this earth to find yourself as a leader in the denomination. For those leaders that haven’t yet had their feet cemented firmly in place, they truly need our prayers. Nicodemus would be an example of such a one. Sadly, for those leaders whose fruits demonstrate their commitment to driving the denomination further into allegiance with the powers of the earth, I do not find an example of prayers being offered for them. Caiaphas would be such an example. Leaders of this type know their condition, they understand their God-given responsibility, but prefer to seek political or financial gain, even if it is for the corporate church and not for themselves personally. Like Caiaphas, these leaders carry a heavy burden of guilt on their shoulders because they know the truth, but they push it aside in favor of the “greater good” – to advance the cause by their own strength and strategy. Such have made their choice to take part with the dead in the lake of fire. Their fruits show forth their own condemnation.

Because we are known for our health message, we should have been more vocal in educating the members and the public about the dangers of allowing the powers that be to experiment on us with an unsafe and ineffective and even dangerous concoction. It was wonderful to see us embrace Dr. Peter McCullough and even have him as a guest speaker at events and in churches, but we should’ve done more for each local church. The truth was out there, but obviously being censored while “stupidity like lethargy” hung over those getting their information from CNN and falling under the mass formation psychosis. I too am partly to blame and spoke mainly with those who were already in the know. The one time I was given the pulpit and did address some of the issues the pastor told me upon his return that he heard my sermon was “too political.” I haven’t been asked to speak since.
Prayer is our weapon of choice now. Pray the Lord will awaken more dumb dogs that won’t bark to join the voice of Dr. Vine and the 3 angels messages, (which includes the health message) will swell to a loud cry that cannot be censored nor cancelled.
