When politicians amass excessive power, a dangerous scenario unfolds, threatening the very essence of personal freedoms and the very foundation of civil society. This is exactly what the newly elected President of Argentina, Javier Milei, stated on national television and radio on December 20, 2023. President Milei expressed the following:
“That doctrine that they call leftism, communism, fascism, or socialism, and that we call collectivism, is a form of thinking that dilutes the individual in favor of the power of the state. It is the basic foundation of the caste model. It is a doctrine of thought that is based on the premise that the reasoning of the state is more important than the individuals that make up the nation. The individual is only recognized if he submits to the state, and therefore, we citizens owe reverence to its representative: the political caste. This means that individuals are nothing more than a means to the end of the state. It is a way of seeing the world that consists of the belief that a group of men, politicians, are superior to the rest of the individuals, and therefore it must be them who rule the destinies of their compatriots.”
“A doctrine that starts from the idea that a group of bureaucrats sitting in an office can plan the lives of millions of human beings, considering their desires, capabilities, preferences, and circumstances; it is a doctrine that considers that politicians, consequently, are omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. This means that, in essence, it is a doctrine that considers that politicians are God. We have come to tell you that politicians are not only not God, but they are the cause of our problems.”

The concentration of unchecked power in the hands of a few who want to impose “collectivism” on the rest of society is exactly what globalists like Pope Francis and others have been advocating. In politics, “collectivism” refers to the idea that individual rights are subject to the interests of the state or larger community. This principle is found in fascism, socialism, and communism and is strikingly similar to Pope Francis’ vision of the common good, which calls for the sacrifice of personal freedom for the benefit of society.
This kind of oppression, control, and loss of freedom was evident during the epidemic when rigorous health mandates were put in place. The climate change agenda is also being driven by this same philosophy, as leaders and governments indicate that they will enact radical reforms and compel individuals to give up their autonomy in favor of climate regulations. Significant economic shifts, punitive penalties, and the ability of governments to impose more control over markets, businesses, and people will all result from climate policy.
Indeed, politicians believe they are gods and have the power to grant or restrict our freedoms. Take note of how foolish and detached many of these men have become:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed” (The Declaration of Independence, Second Continental Congress, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1776).
Our Founding Fathers made it clear that God is the source of our rights and freedoms. It was God who gave us the right to worship, not man. Our government didn’t give us anything. The government’s job is to protect the rights that God gave us. The purpose of having a “Bill of Rights” is to limit the power of the government from taking away certain freedoms. Our rights don’t come from elected officials or non-elected bureaucrats. They come from God alone. We don’t need permission from anyone to worship or to preach the gospel. God has already commanded these things in His word.
The Founding Fathers also made it clear that just powers of government can only come with the consent of the governed. The word “consent” is found three times in the US Declaration of Independence and eleven times in our US Constitution. Obviously, the Founding Fathers didn’t want the government to exercise its powers without our consent. These are the Protestant principles of our Constitution that are disintegrating before our eyes. The government’s use of power without our consent is tyranny.
Today we have politicians who tell us that certain “rights” that they did not give us are not absolute. No. It is the politicians who are not absolute. We have politicians who will one day unilaterally abolish our right to worship and practice our faith. This will be an abuse of power and a serious overreach of authority. These abuses of power will turn citizens into slaves and subjects.
Revelation 14:6–12 contains God’s last message of mercy to the world and includes a warning message against tyranny. As lawlessness and tyranny increase, God’s people must acknowledge God’s sovereignty above kings and rulers and proclaim His commandments and His gospel. As the signs of the times are being fulfilled, God’s church must throw off the shackles of bondage. Instead, let’s submit to the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ (Revelation 14:6–12) and preach it in all its fullness, which is the answer to all the wickedness and tyranny we are seeing today.

President Javier Milei appears to be an exceptional statesman. While most politicians are more concerned with winning elections and maintaining their positions of power, he is more concerned with the welfare of the people and their freedoms.

Argentina owes IMF and World Bank trillions of money and Millei was elected on the platform of rescusciating the Argentine economy which has witnessed a rapid decline, the rate of inflation has been very high and Millei was elected by the Argentine people hoping he will make their hopes to be optimistic. But unfortunately the policies especially fiscal policies of the IMF and World Bank (Bretton Woods institutions) are very punitive. These institutions work with corrupt politicians to drain the pockets of the poor people in third world countries to enrich the rich banks in Europe and America. They impose punitive measures like overtaxation, regulation of currencies, removal of fuel and food subsidies, privitization of government institutions inorder for a country to qualify to obtain a loan it must meet those demands.All promises he made to the electorate have remained a pipedream, because now he is in the helm of the power now he has backtracked on what he promised he is under the instructions of his masters of WEF (Klauss Schwabb) to make the lives of poor people to be miserable. So , i agree with him in totality that politicians are the cause of our miserable life.
