“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.” Matthew 6:24.
You cannot serve both Jesus and Barbie while singing praises to them at the same service. You cannot mix the worship of Almighty God with the idols of worldly fashion, music, and dancing. This is pure corruption, and everyone knows it, but nothing happens, nothing changes, and our leaders couldn’t care less because it’s not a big deal to them. You would think that this would cause us to pause and consider what we are doing to ourselves and our nursery and primary school students by allowing them to dance to the world’s songs while praising Jesus. Unfortunately, we have school administrators who are involved in the planning and execution of these corrupt and compromised scandals, while the vast majority of our people act as if nothing is happening.
The very things that God said should not exist in our institutions are clearly visible, but the church denies and ignores them all. You are not supposed to notice that good has been made evil and evil is made good (Isaiah 5:20). The Adventist faith is being desecrated, but don’t worry; we’ve been told that the music and dancing taking place today is what the kids want. This is what makes them happy. Really? Are we okay with our children being seduced by those who run our institutions? And if you support the counsel given to us about worldly music or if you question what is being done, then you become the problem and are accused of being unloving and divisive. No, my brothers and sisters, sin and apostasy are divisive, and those who support them are unloving and unkind.
“The leaven of godliness has not entirely lost its power. At the time when the danger and depression of the church are greatest, the little company who are standing in the light will be sighing and crying for the abominations that are done in the land. But more especially will their prayers arise in behalf of the church because its members are doing after the manner of the world. The earnest prayers of this faithful few will not be in vain. When the Lord comes forth as an avenger, He will also come as a protector of all those who have preserved the faith in its purity and kept themselves unspotted from the world. It is at this time that God has promised to avenge His own elect which cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them. The command is: ‘Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof’.” (Testimonies, Volume 5, pp. 209, 210).
