Jonathan Blake is the presiding archbishop of the Open Episcopal Church of the United Kingdom and Ireland. They are members of the World Council of Churches. [1] Archbishop Blake believes Jesus does not want us to read the Bible because God does not require it, and the archbishop claims it is filled with errors. What a stark contrast to the Protestants of the 16th century! These are the Babylonian clergy, who are part of the ecumenical movement and are leading millions of people to perdition with their errors. That is why there is so much confusion and contradictory doctrine because many people ignore the word of God. This is also why men and women will end up receiving the mark of the beast.
“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Isaiah 8:20. The people of God are directed to the Scriptures as their safeguard against the influence of false teachers and the delusive power of spirits of darkness. Satan employs every possible device to prevent men from obtaining a knowledge of the Bible; for its plain utterances reveal his deceptions. At every revival of God’s work the prince of evil is aroused to more intense activity; he is now putting forth his utmost efforts for a final struggle against Christ and His followers” (Great Controversy, p. 593).
“The last great delusion is soon to open before us. Antichrist is to perform his marvelous works in our sight. So closely will the counterfeit resemble the true that it will be impossible to distinguish between them except by the Holy Scriptures. By their testimony every statement and every miracle must be tested.” (Great Controversy, 593).
“None but those who have fortified the mind with the truths of the Bible will stand through the last great conflict. To every soul will come the searching test: Shall I obey God rather than men? The decisive hour is even now at hand. Are our feet planted on the rock of God’s immutable word? Are we prepared to stand firm in defense of the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus?” (Great Controversy, p. 593).

If we don’t read the bible how will we be able to say it is written

Perfect response. How do we say “It is written” if the written is discarded?

{Love is dwelt upon as the chief attribute of God, but it is degraded to a weak sentimentalism making little distinction between good and evil. God’s justice, his denunciations of sin, the requirements of his holy law, are all kept out of sight.
The people are taught to regard the decalogue as a dead letter. Pleasing, bewitching fables captivate the senses, and lead men to reject the Bible as the foundation of their faith.
Christ is as verily denied as before; but Satan has so blinded the eyes of the people that the deception is not discerned. GC88 558.2}

Let’s watch, pray, work our salvation with fear and trembling. The sure word of God is our ONLY safe guard. All our stance and thoughts from finite mind has to be brought to a “Thus saith the Lord God,” a test, to the law and the testimony for approval.
Light is every shining 🌟 and if it’s hidden to them that are lost. Let’s pray for one another. Our great mission for caring one another in the LORD.
Stay blessed brethrens 🤗🙏
