On May 18, 2024, Lighthouse Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fort Lauderdale, FL, announced that Ganoune Diop’s scheduled appearance had been canceled due to an emergency hospital internment. [1] I was informed this morning that Diop had experienced a cardiac arrest and was being treated for his condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland. Pray for both spiritual and physical recovery.

Tomara que morra, mesmo, e que com isso também morra esse departamento ecumenista de “liberdade religiosa”
I hope he dies, and with him this ecumenist department of “religious freedom” also dies.

Frankly such a comment reveals more about you than him!
Rather let us support Ganoune and his family b in prayer. Let us pray that the Lord will heal him and restore him in the paths of righteousness but more so that His will be done in this situation.
2 Pet 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
James 5:15-16 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Gal 6:1-2 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

That is an evil comment to wish the man death because you have judged him as an apostate . Jesus said we are to love our enemies not wish them death . Stop trolling
Doods says
Hahaha!that’s sarcastic bro. Nelson but sometimes the truth hurts…the bible tells us to pray for our enemies…but you know that it is easier said than done…
Alfred Ryan says
I can understand your hurt and frustration on the negatives heard concerning this brother but our duty is to help him

Most SDA people you meet haven’t heard of this guy,
After almost a month
when He made his Apostasy known to all once again,
Not a word of rebuke from any mainstream GC pastors…
My guess is now they will talk about him wishing him good health an all that, but not talking about his Papal errors at all.
They should be discussing his spiritual health before his physical!

I hope it is not too late for Mr. Diop, our days are numbered and often we don’t realize it.

No matter the disagreement, we need to minister to those who are sick.
However, I personally do not see Dr Diop as someone who moved away from the teachings of the Adventist Church or from the Bible.
John Hudiburgh says
Think I understand what you mean, Dominique. I was quite disappointed in Ganoune Diop, but when I listened to his entire speech before General Conference with President Ted Wilson in attendance, I wasn’t s sure I clearly understood his motivations. He seemed in earnest and very sincere. I see these hothead independent ministries I like lashing out at Dr. Diop, just not sure they have the right spirit. I deplore any compromise too, but we are also not to be constantly downing the Catholics. We have to have the right spirit. Dr. Diop explained how he had to go to one country 5 times to get Adventists set free from jail. I want to have the right spirit, yet also to expose the wickedness of the man of sin when it is right and appropriate to do so. The commenter here wanting to see Dr. Diop dead is a case in point, I want to shun that spirit.

Hmm, did somebody took the jibby-jab?
Lucy says
Not sure u r allowed to ask, lol.
Susan Alexander says
Why was this man voted into his position again, by the General Conference in world session? He is an official representative of the SDA Church. This is not tacit approval, but active approval, by the leadership at large. We are living in the antitypical time of Jeremiah.
It is my prayer that, in his enforced rest, he will hear the counsel of the Holy Spirit, turn about, and make public his repentance. How powerful would that be!
Dave says
He has received the jab period. He doesn’t believe that the human genome is the image of God and our bodies are the temple of God.
Dave says
The title should have been Dion Ganoune has been jabbed.
Bryant Hughes says
How can anyone who claims to love Christ and who want to emulate Him, wish death on another person? That is totally devilish and satanic. John 8:44 describes who your father is.
Christ could be using this as a way to get his attention and call him to repentance but to wish death on someone is from beneath.
You should be thankful that God didn’t wish death on you as many times as you have sinned against Him.
Lucy says
Agree!

We are in great danger as a people. We down heresy hook, line and syncer and we become confused.Sin no longer appear as sinful. The reason is because we listen and love these unconverted hirelings who don’t care for the sheep. Anyone who has studied true adventism will be able to discern the poison spewed by some of these pastors.
People are troubled by some men calling us a cult, while the biggest cult is in Rome. Then they changed what took years to build. We are bidden not to touch any of these pillars. We mustn’t add or remove. This gentleman is instrumental in destroying the pillars of our faith. If we don’t take heed we will abandon then truth and become bitter opposers of our brethren. Our brothers and sisters continue to die as a result of what these men did( forcing the conscience) during the lockdowns. Making people to go against their conscience and we call them protestant, I totally disagree.
They said the pandemic is not a religious issue but a health”. A true Christian is not fragmented. Everything we do, we do it to the glory of Christ. We are not to judge(condemn) characters but we are judge(discern) statements made which will affect our salvation and the salvation of others.
May this be a turning point in Diop’s life and he flee from Babylon. We should stop being fans of these leaders and have them account for their actions.
Our loyalty should be to Christ not man.
SBrown says
There is no doubt that the hand of God is needed to restore Bro. Diop. Who are we to judge? The woman of God wrote:
“I was shown that in case of sickness, where the way is clear for the offering up of prayer for the sick, the case should be committed to the Lord in calm faith, not with a storm of excitement. He alone is acquainted with the past life of the individual and knows what his future will be. He who is acquainted with the hearts of all men knows whether the person, if raised up, would glorify His name or dishonor Him by backsliding and apostasy. All that we are required to do is to ask God to raise the sick up if in accordance with His will, believing that He hears the reasons which we present and the fervent prayers offered. If the Lord sees it will best honor Him, He will answer our prayers. But to urge recovery without submission to His will is not right.” Testimonies for the Church 2:147, 148
May God’s will be done.

I pray that Dr. Diop will have a full recovery and be ashamed of himself and the General Conference leadership and speak out for true freedom of conscience.
Dr. Diop and the SDA General Conference leaders have removed religious freedom and freedom of conscience protection from SDA members by not granting religious exemptions from invasive DNA altering injections.
My sister-in-law graduated with a Master’s in Physical therapy from Loma Linda University Medical School. She was raised SDA and a baptized member. She did not want to get the jab in 2020 so, she requested a religious exemption from the Oregon Conference of SDA and the Oregon Conference of SDA refused to grant her, her request. The Catholic Medical organization she works for gave her a religious exemption when her own SDA church would not.

Apparently most of the commentators above would have been in favor of praying for good health and Godspeed for Adolf Hitler, Joseph Lenin, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Charles Darwin, Karl Marx, et al, and even Satan himself!! Sorry, I cannot pray for the recovery of evil leaders whom God finally removes from their position of influence out of mercy for the many sincere souls that are being led astray.
Esther Phillips says
Such a ‘phariseeacle’ comment. The Pharisees were pompous leaders THINKING they were right in the way they followed the law of God, but when Jesus mingled with the ‘sinners’, the ‘saints’ crucified the Son of God. Let us spend time in examining our own lives, loving our brothers and spreading the love of Yeshua to all. Leave the judging to God who knows the hearts of all men. We are ALL sinners saved by Grace. It is high time that we operated in the Spirit of God, being loving, joyous, peace seeking, gentle, with patience, and self control. God help us all.
