The movement for integrating Christianity into public life and national governance is growing in intensity. Christian nationalism is becoming increasingly aggressive and influential as its supporters advocate for a political system that imposes Christian values on society. They argue that our institutions should reflect their religious beliefs and views, and they want to use the state’s power to promote policies that incorporate biblical ideals into the nation’s cultural fabric.

On June 27, 2024, CNN reported the following:
• “All Oklahoma schools are required to incorporate the Bible and the Ten Commandments in their curriculums, effective immediately, the state’s chief education officer announced in a memorandum Thursday. At a State Board of Education meeting, Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters said the Bible is “one of the most foundational documents used for the Constitution and the birth of our country.” [1]
On June 27, 2024, Oklahoma mandated that all of its schools teach their students about the Bible and the Ten Commandments. Previously, on June 19, 2024, Louisiana ordered all schools to display the Ten Commandments in their classrooms. This is opening the door for more and more policies based on religion to enter our institutions. This will only continue until we have a form of government where the church has supreme power.
Many Christian nationalists are determined to establish a theocracy in America. They also believe that Sunday should be protected as a day of rest by the state. Those who want Christian beliefs to influence the government see Sunday as a sacred day of worship and rest, rooted in Christian tradition and the biblical Sabbath. As a result, there will be calls to advocate for laws and policies that limit commercial activity, encourage businesses to close, and promote family and community time on Sundays. This perspective aligns with their broader goal of integrating Christian values into public life and governance.
Across a diverse spectrum of society, there has been a growing call for recognizing Sunday as the universal day of rest. Politicians see it as an opportunity to promote work-life balance and improve public health, while religious groups advocate for it as a return to biblical values and spiritual renewal. Secular media outlets highlight the potential mental health benefits of a collective day of rest, providing a break from the relentless pace of modern life. Labor unions champion the cause as a means to protect workers’ rights and ensure fair working conditions. Social organizations emphasize the importance of community and family time, while environmental groups underscore the positive impact on the climate crisis, suggesting that a weekly pause in economic activity could reduce carbon emissions and foster a more sustainable way of living.
“The law for the observance of the first day of the week is the production of an apostate Christendom. Sunday is a child of the papacy, exalted by the Christian world above the sacred day of God’s rest. In no case are God’s people to pay it homage” (Testimonies, Vol. 9, p. 235).
“The dignitaries of church and state will unite to bribe, persuade, or compel all classes to honor the Sunday. The lack of divine authority will be supplied by oppressive enactments. Political corruption is destroying love of justice and regard for truth; and even in free America, rulers and legislators, in order to secure public favor, will yield to the popular demand for a law enforcing Sunday observance” (Great Controversy, p. 592).

Robert King says
straying a gnat and swallowing a camel mentality. A free people at the state level have the 1st amendment freedom to display the 10 commandments in public. The foundation of all morality is Gods commandments as the Government has a vested interest in training young people to be moral citizens. The left have taken over the culture with their licentiousness lifestyles to control a nation by knowingly removed Gods commandments from the peoples life.
