Winning the Christian vote is necessary in American politics because Protestants and Catholics together make up one of the largest voting blocs. Politicians know this, and they know that the Christian vote has historically helped shape the outcomes in swing state voting. Candidates will find it difficult to win elections without the support of Christians, particularly in places where religious identity has a significant impact on local politics and culture.
On October 16, 2024, The Christian Post published the following information about Roman Catholics in swing states:
“A new poll conducted by the National Catholic Reporter released Wednesday found that, among Catholic voters in seven ‘battleground states,’ which were identified as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, Trump held a lead … 50% of respondents said they would probably or definitely vote for Trump, while 45% said they would probably or definitely vote for Harris.” [1]
In addition, The Christian Post reported on how Donald Trump is also leading Kamala Harris with the Protestant vote:
“Trump, the Republican nominee for president, leads Harris, the Democratic nominee, among both Catholics and Protestants as a whole. Fifty-two percent of Catholics plan to support Trump compared to 47% for Harris. Meanwhile, Trump has 61% support among Protestants in contrast to Harris’ 37%.” [2]
Donald Trump has stated his strong support for expanding the role of religion in public life and has pledged to give churches greater power. In exchange, a large number of Roman Catholics and Protestants back Donald Trump because they see his pledges as a way to uphold and promote their beliefs and values within society. And let’s be honest, any candidate runs the risk of losing if they are unable to win the Catholic and Protestant votes, which are essential in close races.
In the context of the final crisis described in the Book of Revelation, the churches will significantly impact legislative agendas and push for policies that reflect their values, making them a powerful bloc that politicians cannot afford to overlook. A coming union of church and state will play a pivotal role in shaping the events leading to the end of times. According to the scenario described in Revelation 13, religious organizations will collaborate closely with political authorities to impose religious practices, like mandatory Sunday rest and worship. This unholy union will lead to severe consequences, including economic sanctions and the penalty of death for those who disobey the imposed religious mandates under the mark of the beast.
God assures His people of His presence, strength, and comfort during times of persecution, offering promises that provide courage and hope. Although hardships will come, God’s faithfulness is unwavering. Psalm 46:1 calls Him “our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble,” and Romans 8:35-39 assures us that nothing—not “tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine”—can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Even in times of trouble, God stands with His people, offering His enduring presence and ultimate victory.

Donald Trump is the Presidential candidate, who has more appeal to American voters than Kamala Harris, this is because Donald Trump has promised that when he will be re -elected he will give back the power of the state to the people in this case the Church. The Republican Presidential nominee during the Republican convention he chose J.D .Vance as his Vice Presidential nominee as his runningmate he is a staunch Roman Catholic he is the leader of the project 2025 Movement which is tasked to unite the Church and State and also enforce Sunday observance by law. For the students of bible prophecy, it’s now very clear that Donald .J. Trump agenda aligns to the very agenda the Jesuits of the Roman Catholic Church. We should remember that Trump studied at the Jesuit Universities .e.g Fordham University. So, the prophecy of Revelation chapter 13 is being fulfilled in front of our eyes. The two horned beast of Revelation 13 causes the earth and all that dwelleth in it, to worship the first beast whose deadly wound was healed.(Revelation 13:12) .

Project 2025 has no forced Sunday observance. It provides for overtime pay on Sunday or Sabbath depending on the religion of the employee. That would actually benefit Adventists. What employer would try to force their Adventist employee to work on Sabbath when that would cost them a lot of money? More cost efficient to put them on the Sunday shift.
“God ordained the Sabbath as a day of rest, and until very recently the Judeo-Christian tradition sought to honor that mandate by moral and legal regulation of work on that day. … Congress should encourage communal rest by amending the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) to require that workers be paid time and a half for hours worked on the Sabbath. That day would default to Sunday, except for employers with a sincere religious observance of a Sabbath at a different time (e.g., Friday sundown to Saturday sundown); the obligation would transfer to that period instead.”

And Jews and Atheists overwhelmingly voted for Kamala.
