In his first 50 days back in office, President Trump has issued over “100 executive orders and 400 executive actions,” effectively implementing approximately one-third of the Project 2025 agenda—a 900-page policy guide called “Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise.” This plan, developed by the Heritage Foundation, aims to radically transform federal law in several sectors by incorporating Christian values, thereby contributing to a resurgence of religion in society. All of these actions, and many more to come, reflect a concerted effort to realign national policies with the principles outlined in the Project 2025 plan.
On March 5, 2025, Baptist News Global published the following:
• “In his Tuesday speech to Congress, President Donald Trump praised his own ‘swift and unrelenting action’ on 100 executive orders and 400 executive actions, many of them based on Project 2025.” [1]
• “We have accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations accomplished in four years, or eight years,” said Trump, who claimed his second presidency already has become “the most successful in the history of our nation.” [1]
• “An easy-to-navigate online Project 2025 Tracker shows Trump has been successful in implementing a third of the specific policy goals laid out in the Heritage Foundation’s 900-plus-page blueprint, which was designed to ‘institutionalize Trumpism’.” [1]
• “The online tracker shows Trump already has achieved 100% of Project 2025’s goals for USAID, including ending projects that address diversity or climate change and prioritizing funding for Christian groups such as Samaritan’s Purse, which is led by Franklin Graham, an ardent Trump supporter.” [1]
• “Project 2025 was backed by more than 100 conservative organizations, including more than a dozen evangelical groups.” [1]
• “During his first week in office, 36 of Trump’s 53 executive orders and actions aligned with the Project 2025 blueprint.” [1]
• “On the occasion of Trump’s speech to Congress, one Republican congressman, John Rose of Tennessee, summarized Trump’s first 43 days in office: ‘How do you think the president was prepared to issue all these executive orders? How do you think they were prepared to make all of these appointments in such quick succession after he got into office? Project 2025‘.” [1]
At the speed at which President Donald Trump is pushing policies that are in line with Project 2025, it will only be a matter of time before he addresses proposed amendments to the Fair Labor Standards Act, which Project 2025 is pushing to require employers to pay workers time-and-a-half for hours worked on the Sabbath—which by default is identified as Sunday. If the mandate is pushed by executive order, this could create an economic incentive for businesses to close operations on Sundays. In theory, this could lay the groundwork for a revival of Sunday laws in America by making it more financially burdensome for companies to remain open, encouraging a de facto observance of Sunday as a national day of rest.
Presidential Executive Orders (EOs) can serve as a foundation for future federal laws by setting policy precedents that Congress later formalizes through legislation. For example, Abraham Lincoln took a historic step toward ending slavery in the United States through an executive order known as the Emancipation Proclamation, issued on January 1, 1863. However, because this action was based on Lincoln’s wartime powers as commander-in-chief, Congress later passed the 13th Amendment, which was ratified on December 6, 1865, which permanently ended slavery throughout the United States, making what began as an executive order a lasting part of federal law.
If Donald Trump imposes the time-and-a-half proposal for working on Sunday through executive action, lawmakers in Washington, D.C., could then introduce bills to codify it, ensuring its permanence beyond the president’s term. Moreover, if Trump takes action, it will ignite the debate over Sunday rest and put enormous pressure on Evangelical and Catholic members of Congress to act, especially if the policy has widespread support or economic significance.

“And there are seven kings: five are fallen”:
Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush jr., Obama
and one is: Trump 1.0
and the other is not yet come, and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.: Biden
And …. the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition: Trump 2.0
The prophecy of Revelation 13:2 is now gaining prominence as the messenger of the Lord Mrs. Ellen .G. White predicted a long time ago about 150 years. The fulfilment of this prophecy will be fulfilled when United States enforces sunday observance by law through legislative congress. The fulfilment of prophecy will vindicate the Seventh Day Adventists message as true and the whole world will acknowledge this and the sabbath truth will become the issue for discussion across the world. The critics who have called Seventh Day Adventists all sorts of names e.g .haters of catholic church, legalists will now change their negative perception against the Adventists. The message of third angels message will be preached with power only with faithful few in S.D.A. As the inspiration , says , in the book of ” Great Controversy” pg:608 ,as the storm approaches, the large class who profess to believe in the third angels message, many will leave within our ranks and join the opposition and will become bitterest critics of their former brethren because they refused to live in the truth they professed to believe in. The former S.D.A’S will become traitors and persecutors of the remnant who will be faithful to the commandments of God and faith of Jesus Christ. All the christendom will be divided into two camps, sunday keepers, and sabbath keepers.
