Welcome to the radical sexual revolution that is taking over America. Our nation is unraveling before our eyes. It is amazing to see the speed and degree of our moral fall.
The American Psychological Association, the main professional organization of psychiatrists in the United States, is a government-affiliated organization that works to advocate for “federal policies and legislation that advance human welfare and improve society.” [1]
There may have been a time when psychologists had a goal to help bring some kind of balance to people’s’ lives. Today the American Psychological Association [APA] is pushing to both legalize and normalize polyamory – group marriage and group love. They are working to validate this sexual perversion by removing the “stigma” or any negative judgments that are critical towards non-monogamous relationships.
The APA has established a task force on “consensual non-monogamy. ” Here is what they are saying:
“The APA Division 44 Consensual Non-monogamy Task Force promotes awareness and inclusivity about consensual non-monogamy and diverse expressions of intimate relationships. These include but are not limited to: people who practice polyamory, open relationships, swinging, relationship anarchy and other types of ethical non-monogamous relationships.
Finding love and/or sexual intimacy is a central part of most people’s life experience. However, the ability to engage in desired intimacy without social and medical stigmatization is not a liberty for all. This task force seeks to address the needs of people who practice consensual non-monogamy, including their intersecting marginalized identities.” [2]
“Ethical” non-monogamous relationships? Anything goes in America’s new militant, sexual revolution. This is what happens when biblical marriage is rejected. When marriage is no longer a sacred relationship between one man and one woman, then anything and everything is possible. The very same arguments used for legalizing same-sex marriage are being used to bring acceptance and normalization to polyamory.
All of the moral restraints imposed by God are being removed by the American Psychological Association. Marriage means whatever you want it to mean. We are fast becoming the most immoral society in the history of the world with all the sexual confusion being advocated by the “experts” today. Whenever God and His truth is removed, confusion and perversion reigns.
Our courts, our government and our society are rejecting the biblical standards of morality and have accepted the world’s standard that says “love is love,” including polyamory. But polyamory is a serious matter. It’s an attack against biblical monogamy. Sexually transmitted diseases are spread when people have multiple sexual partners. Group marriage and group love is a public health hazard that spreads AIDS and other STDs.
Once the APA declares group marriage to be normal then all of the sexual revolutionists will say that polyamory is a human right and must be recognized by law. If group marriage becomes legalized this will have a destructive effect on children. Whenever society declares group marriage to be an acceptable alternative to monogamous relationships then children and young people will follow the example of the adults who practice multi-partner marriages.
When we reject God’s law we are rejecting the very God who gave them. When God is rejected peace and happiness and true love are banished from the land:
“When the restraints of God’s law were cast aside, it was found that the laws of man were inadequate to hold in check the powerful tides of human passion; and the nation swept on to revolt and anarchy … Peace and happiness were banished from the homes and hearts of men” (Great Controversy, p. 282).
