Pastor Daniel Honore is the President of the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists with offices located in Jamaica, New York. He recently shared a statement on Facebook saying that he, a member of his family and other church members have tested positive for coronavirus. In his letter shared below, he asks for “continual prayer.”
This is a time of prayer and vigilance because anyone is susceptible to this virus. The coronavirus does not discriminate against sex, race, age, or religion. Let us pray for the recovery of all those affected. Pray for the sick and frail. May God raise them all up to be public witnesses to the truth. During this time of trial may we be found persevering in prayer.
