Last Friday, October 16, 2020, we reported that the Loma Linda University Official Bookstore was selling whiskey decanters online. At the end of the report, we provided the email address of Loma Linda University President Dr. Richard Hart and asked our readers to contact him and ask him to remove the whiskey bottles. As of today, Sunday, October 18, 2020, they have been removed. The “official” LLU bookstore continues to operate, but the different alcohol bottles are no longer available. We are grateful to the lay Seventh-day Adventists who contacted the institution to share their concern on this matter. We also thank Dr. Hart for the speed with which this issue has been resolved. Praise God!
