Last month, the Roman Catholic” Governor of Louisiana, Jeff Landry [1], and Protestant Republican members of the state legislature gathered at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School in Lafayette, LA, for the signing ceremony of the Ten Commandments law. Governor Landry signed legislation mandating that the Ten Commandments be displayed in all public classrooms.
Cade Brumley, Superintendent of Education for the State of Louisiana, was in the crowd and stood next to the governor. Brumley, shown circled in red in the image, is a “man of faith who is active in the Baptist church.” [2] Cade Brumley, a Baptist, has publicly supported the 10 Commandments law and stated that he will enforce it after it was signed by the Roman Catholic governor. Once again, Protestants are doing the bidding for Roman Catholics.
Brunley expressed the following words during a CNN interview on June 24, 2024:
• “The Ten Commandments law passed with overwhelming support in Louisiana’s state legislature and was enthusiastically signed by our Governor … I look forward to implementing the law and defending Louisiana’s sovereign interest to select classroom content fundamental to America’s foundation.” [3]
A political alliance between Catholics and Protestants has been formed, with the goal of integrating church doctrine into public life. Across the nation, they’re starting with the Ten Commandments, the Bible, and prayer, but it won’t end there. Many religious leaders believe that society must reflect the teachings of the church. They want our institutions, beginning with the schools, to align with the 10 Commandments, and they are using the power of the state to do so. This opens the door to a system of government in which the church exercises all the power of the state.
These politicians know what they are doing, what the next steps are, and where they will lead us. It is our people who are blind to what is going on. Louisiana is no longer simply a secular state. It has violated the principle of neutrality and has taken a dangerous step toward legally recognizing Christianity. Prophecy refers to this particular form of alliance between apostate Protestantism and Catholicism as the image of the beast in the making, or a type of state-sponsored religion.
Protestants and Catholics are putting aside more than 500 years of theological differences to pass Christian-themed legislation to shape society. This is a defining sign of the prophetic landscape. These Catholic and Protestant politicians in Louisiana also believe that Sunday is the day of rest and should be protected. And when you consider how the churches came together in Louisiana to pass the 10 Commandments law, this is an example of how Sunday laws will soon be implemented. Catholics and Protestants will once again form an alliance to secure Sunday rest by law.
“The Word of God teaches that these scenes are to be repeated as papists and Protestants shall unite for the exaltation of the Sunday” (Great Controversy, p. 578).
“It was apostasy that led the early church to seek the aid of the civil government, and this prepared the way for the development of the papacy—the beast. Said Paul: ‘There shall come a falling away … and that man of sin be revealed.’ 2 Thessalonians 2:3. So apostasy in the church will prepare the way for the image to the beast.” (Great Controversy, p. 443).
“Whenever the church has obtained secular power, she has employed it to punish dissent from her doctrines. Protestant churches that have followed in the steps of Rome by forming alliance with worldly powers have manifested a similar desire to restrict liberty of conscience” (Great Controversy, p. 443).
“When the leading churches of the United States, uniting upon such points of doctrine as are held by them in common, shall influence the State to enforce their decrees and to sustain their institutions, then Protestant America will have formed an image of the Roman hierarchy, and the infliction of civil penalties upon dissenters will inevitably result” (Great Controversy, p. 445).

About the EGW quotes:
Which protestant church is more like an image of the Papacy?
1. Pyramid goberment
2 only priests can interpret the Bible
3. “Sell indulgence” by the tithes
4. Excommunicate who they say is dissidents
5. Persecute who opposed the leadership
You may add many other characteristics. I only had found one denomination with this and many other similarities. Just guess which….

The harlot was sealed on her forehead with the title of “MOTHER” In the reign of the sixth king, John Paul II, When he signed the JDDJ with the Lutherans in 1999, Exactly as foretold.
Now we are in the reign of the eighth king In the formation of the Image to the beast. The three fallen spirits are fully manifesting, and soon the Sunday law will be proclaimed exactly as foretold in the reign of the 8th king. But men like you have rejected the prophetic message that empowers the Three angels messages and have neutered the prophecy. It’s a shame, God gave you The perfect format to get this message across and you insist that you know better.
Robert King says
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
1st Amendment says Congress shall make no law, it never refers to the States as not having that right. it also states congress shall not prohibit the free exercise of the peoples Christian faith.
The Sunday law will come about because people had their rights to express their faith in public.
Tom Magnusson says
Louisiana isn’t Congress. Most states had school prayer and taught Creationism for over 150 years with no one accusing them of violating the Constitituon.

Those who are living amid the perils of the last days, which are characterized by the masses turning from the truth of God to fables, will have close work to turn from the fables which are prepared for them on every hand, and have an appetite to feast upon unpopular truth. Those who turn from these fables to truth are despised, hated, and persecuted by those who are presenting fables to the people for their reception. Satan is at war with the remnant who are endeavoring to keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus. Evil angels are commissioned to employ agents who are men upon the earth who can the most successfully exert their influence to make Satan’s attacks effective against the remnant whom God calls “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people: that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” [1 Peter 2:9.] This, Satan is determined to hinder. He will employ everyone who will engage in his service to hinder the chosen people of God from shewing forth the praises of Him who has called them from darkness into His marvelous light. To hide, to cover up this light, to cause people to distrust it, to disbelieve it, is the work of the great rebel and his host. 1LtMs, Ms 2, 1868, par. 3
