It is incompatible with both the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy to allow Roman Catholic archbishops to promote Catholic ideology within Seventh-day Adventist churches, because our sacred spaces are supposed to be dedicated to the worship of a Holy God and not “common houses” for Rome’s ecumenical encounters. Our Adventist community, values, and message are in direct opposition to the ecumenical message that Rome is pushing. And by allowing such displays in our churches, this symbolizes the deep contradiction and confusion in which many of our pastors and leaders find themselves because they reject God’s call to come out of Babylon (Revelation 18:4).
On January 21, 2025, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Palermo, Italy, published images of an ecumenical encounter inside of a Seventh-Day Adventist Church. The title of the event was called “Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ Unites Us and Creates More Relationships of Friendships and Brotherhood.” In attendance were representatives of the Catholic Church, the Anglican Church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Evangelical Church of Reconciliation, the Lutheran Church, the Methodist Church, the Pentecostal Community, and the Russian and Romanian Orthodox Churches.
At the Adventist Church of Palermo, situated on Via Gioacchino Di Marzo, Monsignor Corrado Lorefice, the Archbishop of Palermo, gave a sermon on Christian unity that amounted to nothing more than advancing the Pope’s universal fraternity. The Catholic archbishop said the following in his message:
• “We are gathered here in the joy of being able to find each other again, to confess together what seduces and passions our hearts, the Lord Jesus.” [1]
• “Faith is a context of a relationship and chapter 11 of the Gospel of St. John has remnants of an amazing tenderness, a tenderness entrusted in terms of friendship, of love that binds Jesus to his brothers and sisters; the context of faith sends us back to a brotherly relationship, of friendship and love.” [1]
• “Our meeting here tonight, all together, helps us confess that, do you think this? As an element of faith that accompanies us and that causes more and more relationships of friendship and brotherhood to erupt because the God that we have met is the one who has only one vision, that of a brotherhood that inhabits the earth as a fertile garden with its center the tree of life.” [1]
• “God thought of us as brothers, as the community of Bethany. From today’s meeting you can smell the fragrance of friendship that collapses throughout the common house.” [1]
These Roman Catholic leaders are laboring to establish Pope Francis’ one-world religious fraternity. Ultimately, this is just another attempt to persuade Protestants that we need to return to Rome. The Vatican is manipulating every ecumenical encounter in order to bring the churches together. Make no mistake about it. Pope Francis is paving the way for the installation of the papal new world order and the Antichrist-led government foretold in Revelation 13 and 17. The whole world is being gathered into one big unholy alliance through the efforts of the man of sin:
“The professed Protestant world will form a confederacy with the man of sin, and the church and the world will be in corrupt harmony” (Bible Commentary, 7:975).
“The world is filled with storm and war and variance. Yet under one head—the papal power—the people will unite to oppose God in the person of His witnesses. This union is cemented by the great apostate. While he seeks to unite his agents in warring against the truth” (Testimonies, Vol. 7, p. 182).
On the other side of Rome’s universal fraternity are God’s faithful remnant people who fear Him and give glory to Him (Revelation 14:7). God is calling His people to have a completely different experience than the one seen in the modern ecumenical movement. He is calling us to an experience of unity in the Three Angels’ Messages. We are called to believe in these messages, to proclaim them, and to persuade all men everywhere to obey them. We are to be faithful in keeping His commandments and in giving His final message of warning, in spite of all the opposition and challenges. May God help us to sever these relationships, to take a stand for the truth, and to stay the course towards heaven.
“The Lord is about to punish the world for its iniquity. He is about to punish religious bodies for their rejection of the light and truth which has been given them. The great message, combining the first, second and third angels’ messages, is to be given to the world. This is to be the burden of our work. Those who truly believe in Christ will openly conform to the law of Jehovah. The Sabbath is the sign between God and His people, and we are to make visible our conformity to the law of God by observing the Sabbath. It is to be the mark of distinction between God’s chosen people and the world” (Kress Collection, 105).

Have lost count of how many sermons wherein our pastors have suggested The congregations are out of unity,
However the Spirit of Prophecy tells us the solution to the Unity issue is to uplift God’s Commandments,
Don’t think it’s a coincidence, our church Leaders have received Catholic training/ideas,
and are pushing Vatican 2’s version of Unity.

Such advocates of truth could no more harmonize with “the man of sin” than could Christ and his apostles. In earlier ages the righteous felt that it was impossible to affiliate with Rome, and, though their antagonism to this system of error was maintained at risk of property and life, yet they had courage to maintain their separation, and manfully struggled for the truth. Bible truth was dearer to them than wealth, honor, or even life itself. They could not endure to see the truth buried under a mass of superstition and lying sophistry. They took the word of God in their hands, and raised the standard of truth before the people, boldly declaring that which God had revealed unto them through diligent searching of the Bible. They died the cruelest of deaths for their fidelity to God, but by their blood they purchased for us liberties and privileges that many who claim to be Protestants are easily yielding up to the power of evil. But shall we yield up these dearly bought privileges? Shall we offer insult to the God of heaven, and, after he has freed us from the Romish yoke, again place ourselves in bondage to this antichristian power? I am referencing this article in the Four Angels Messages ministry monthly publication and you saved me from researching the quote that I was going to look for. I know it all, sadly, too well because this is not the first use of the quote for us to publish. Any SDA that is blind to the backsliding church are part of the backsliding because their is no way you can read the Ellen White statement (which is form God) and still continue and support this ecumenical march to Rome. Oh, that’s right. Part of the backsliding is NOT to read Ellen White and heed the messages.
So it is understandable why it was so easy for them to believe and support a maxine that was actually bio warfare….and killed and maimed so many innocent people who believed the lies.
We MUST trust in no man but maintain our close relationship with Jesus and trust HIM and HIS WORD implicitly regardless of what anyone else believes or thinks.
The situation is so sad but prophecy is being fulfilled. Some of our brightest lights will go out. We must pray for every leader. Theirs is a weighty responsibility and the devil is on their track every moment. Many will be led astray from their influence. We CANNOT follow anyone, only Jesus!!! Let us pray for and encourage one another.

The unity that binds new adventism and the RCC, along with all of Protestant, is the triune god.
In 1956, a few unelected, even unselected, Adventist met with the editors of an evangelical magazine to discuss why Seventh-Day Adventist should not be classified as a cult. Theses few Adventist wanted to mend the gap between the brotherhood of Christians. They wanted to have the denomination accepted by the evangelical community. After a series of unsanctioned meetings, these men spoke on behalf of the church and that’s how we ended up with Questions on Doctrines along with What Seventh-Day Adventist believe.
Of course this history has more chilling details that I would recommend all believers In the church should investigate.

Ted Wilson graduated his doctorate degree from the Fordham University-A Jesuit institution. Ganoune Diop -took up his doctorate degree from Catholic University in Paris. In return, what they teach to SDA members is all about Catholic doctrines in collaboration with the leaders from ecumenical movement.

I knew that about Ganoune Diop. But I cannot find any information about Ted Wilson attending Fordham U. Do you have a reliable source for that? All I find on Wickipedia about him is this:

The SDA Church Leadership has brought in the Catholic teaching of “spiritual formation” in to our pulpit, but deny our own ministers the right to preach the Bible truth. God is bringing about a shaking in our church to see who will be loyal to Him and to not compromise themselves to the world.
