The Central Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists hosted the 2022 Christ for the Crisis Evangelistic Series. The evangelistic event took place between September 3, 2022 and October 1, 2022. On the event’s final day, a singing and dancing cowboy gave a performance. The moderator stated that he had been instructed to “include” this “rendition” into the program and that the singing and dancing cowboy was giving performances all over central Jamaica. So here is the new style of “singing evangelist” performing for the Central Jamaica Conference evangelistic crusade. Tragically, rather than being a “Christ for the Crisis” evangelistic campaign, the video above seems more like the numerous popular singing and talent shows you see on television. We are indeed in a crisis, but the scope of the crisis is much broader than we would like to acknowledge.
John says
This is more appropriate for a Karaoke bar, not for church.
Mary says
Yes, but unless they’ve had too many drinks, even Karaoke singers don’t dance like that.
Tom says
You can’t really blame the man singing, those who allowed this are at fault.
Emma Brown says
At the beginning of the video you see written on the wall “Reverence my Sanctuary, I’m the Lord.” Leviticus 19:30. Either they end these shenanigans in the church or they might as well paint over the Bible verse on the wall. You can’t have it both ways.
Austin says
they will burn 🔥 😀😀
