The Unitarian Universalist Office at the United Nations is encouraging churches to hold a special United Nations Sunday service in their congregations. The Unitarian Universalists, who promote the goals of the UN Charter, are one of many religious faiths forming a new political alliance and mission with the United Nations to advocate for Sunday as a day of worship, reflection, and climate justice.
The 2022–2023 United Nations Sunday Worship Theme was created to raise awareness about climate change. The Unitarian Universalist Office at the United Nations describes this Sunday service as follows:
“What is UN Sunday? United Nations Sunday celebrates the work of the United Nations and your Unitarian Universalist Office at the United Nations. Each year we encourage congregations to have a service and/or event to celebrate! We create a collection of UN Sunday Resources which highlight our suggested theme and provide readings, an RE curriculum, planning timeline and checklist, order of service (including hymns), and more.” [1]
“Planning a UN Sunday Service – United Nations Day every year is October 24. First, you’ll need to set a date for your service with the church, preferably the closest Sunday to October 24.” [2]

A special 25-page United Nations Sunday worship program promoting green earth spirituality and Mother Earth pantheism has also been provided so that your local church can get involved and help “spread UN Sunday Action and Inspiration” (page 12). [3] During the UN Sunday Action worship service, the following special readings are offered:
“For the Web of Life – We light this chalice for the web of life which sustains us, For the sacred circle of life in which we have our being, For the Earth, the Sky, Above and Below, and For our Mother Earth, and for the Mystery” (page 15). [3]
“Earth Mother, Star Mother – Earth mother, star mother, You who are called by a thousand names, May all remember we are cells in your body and dance together. You are the grain and the loaf that sustains us each day. And as you are patient with our struggles to learn So shall we be patient with ourselves and each other” (page 22). [3]
The world is uniting to build a global structure to combat the climate crisis, and the solution is centered around the so-called sacredness of Sunday. Global elites are currently planning to establish a universal authority to enforce Catholic social doctrines. Through Pope Francis’ teachings, which emphasize the “common good” in our society, churches and political organizations around the world are working together to radically transform our world through green spirituality and Sunday sacredness.
Instead of supporting Rome’s radical climate change agenda, which will include an enforcement mechanism to make all people and nations of the earth comply with a green climate change agenda, every Seventh-day Adventist must raise a voice against any measure that would promote Sunday rest, Sunday worship, or Sunday laws.
Sunday, the false Sabbath and the mark of apostasy, is being presented as the only way to save our society from destruction. All of the ongoing agitation for Laudato Si’ is Rome’s master plan to conceal its true intention of establishing its ecclesiastical supremacy throughout the world by dominating both church and state.
“The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending” (Last Day Events, p. 125).
“I do hope that the trumpet will give a certain sound in regard to this Sunday-law movement. I think that it would be best if in our papers the subject of the perpetuity of the law of God were made a specialty…. We should now be doing our very best to defeat this Sunday law.” (Last Day Events, p. 128).
It is during this time that the Third Angel’s Message is supposed to gain power and strength. These events will stir God’s people into action, and they will raise the standard of truth—the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12). The final warning message will be proclaimed to the world through pen and voice and through the lives of a peculiar people.
