On Friday evening, July 7, 2023, starting at 7:00 p.m., AdventHealth hosted a “Restore Worship—Experience God” event at the WholeLife Seventh-day Adventist Church in Orlando, Florida. The service included poetry, spoken word, and rap. Rap music is being promoted as a means to restore worship. This is how the music of the world is being marketed in our churches today. Evil is good, wrong is right, and rap music is the way we restore worship to the living God.
In the video above, you can see the church congregation cheering and even taking part in the rapping after the opening prayer thanked God for the “Sabbath” and the “worship” service. We are witnessing with horror as true biblical worship, which we hold very dear, is being abandoned. Through the stealthy implementation of feel-good theology, rap music, cool beats, and an electrifying atmosphere, this is our new way to keep people coming back to church. Sacred, reverent worship is being co-opted and made into something that now looks like what the rest of the world is doing.

This is a worship service gone wrong. This new style of rap music evangelism within Adventism is an alarming development that will lead to the disappearance of our distinctive faith. Adventism is under attack, and the goal is to break away from the fundamental truths and historic principles by replacing them with new modern ideas, new methods, new styles, and a new way of thinking. This work is being led by people who give lip service to the Seventh-day Adventist faith while attempting to undermine it completely.
AdventHealth is helping to transform sacred worship into an embarrassing MTV wannabe rap show, thinking that we are honoring our holy God when in fact we make a mockery of His name.
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him … And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 1 John 2:15, 17.
This is God’s admonition to His followers. The great danger for the church has always been to follow the world and do what it does. Warning voices are often raised against this, but oftentimes, the warning is ignored. Seventh-day Adventists must never forget that heaven is their home, not this doomed, broken world with all of its trappings. Here, in whatever situation we find ourselves, we are pilgrims on our way to the heavenly land.

Bedlam of Noise—The things you have described as taking place in Indiana, the Lord has shown me would take place just before the close of probation. Every uncouth thing will be demonstrated. There will be shouting, with drums, music, and dancing. VSS 417.1
The senses of rational beings will become so confused that they cannot be trusted to make right decisions. And this is called the moving of the Holy Spirit. VSS 417.2
The Holy Spirit never reveals itself in such methods, in such a bedlam of noise. This is an invention of Satan to cover up his ingenious methods for making of none effect the pure, sincere, elevating, ennobling, sanctifying truth for this time. Better never have the worship of God blended with music than to use musical instruments to do the work which last January was represented to me would be brought into our camp meetings. The truth for this time needs nothing of this kind in its work of converting souls. A bedlam of noise shocks the senses and perverts that which if conducted aright might be a blessing. The powers of satanic agencies blend with the din and noise, to have a carnival, and this is termed the Holy Spirit’s working…. VSS 417.3
No encouragement should be given to this kind of worship. The same kind of influence came in after the passing of the time in 1844. The same kind of representations were made. Men became excited, and were worked by a power thought to be the power of God.—Selected Messages 2:36, 37. VSS 418.1
Satan’s Snare—The Holy Spirit has nothing to do with such a confusion of noise and multitude of sounds as passed before me last January. Satan works amid the din and confusion of such music, which, properly conducted, would be a praise and glory to God. He makes its effect like the poison sting of the serpent. VSS 418.2
Those things which have been in the past will be in the future. Satan will make music a snare by the way in which it is conducted.—Selected Messages 2:37, 38.

We were warned we would see this day.
And where are our elected leaders of this Remnant Church? Why do we not hear a rebuke of not only Advent Health, and other apostasies? Let us remember that God’s faithful will stay with the truth and the unfaithful will fall away. “We must wait patiently and not fail or be discouraged, for God has His plans all arranged. While we are burdened and distressed, but waiting in patient submission, our invisible Helper will be doing the work we do not see, and will bring to pass in His providence events which will either work reformations, or will separate these halfhearted, world-loving members from the believers.” SHM 445

If that is Happening, why do you ask the question how is the denomination supposed to Give the Loud Cry?
How Can the Latter Rain Fall on a Church that God is Withdrawing from?
Why is it Expected leaders are Going to Stand up against Apostasy when they will Encourage it too the Point that very soon people will be Worshiping who they think is God in a State of Nudity?
Is this Not Evidence that God has Divorced the Church?
Why did Ellen White Write the below in the 1884 Great Controversy, if he Did not see how Chronic and Incurable Apostasy in the Seventh Day Adventist Church would become, and that God has Given Modern day Spiritual Jerusalem Bill of Divorce as Per Jeremiah 3 ?
“Jesus sends HIS PEOPLE a message of warning to prepare them for his coming. To the prophet John was made known the closing work in the great plan of man’s redemption. He beheld an angel flying ‘in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him for the hour of his Judgment is come and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters [Rev. 14:6, 7.].
The angel represented in prophecy as delivering this message, symbolizes a class of faithful men, who, obedient to the promptings of God’s Spirit and the teachings of his word, proclaim this warning to the inhabitants of earth. This message was not to be committed to the religious leaders of the people. They had failed to preserve their connection with God, and had REFUSED THE LIGHT FROM HEAVEN therefore they WERE NOT of the number described by the apostle Paul: ‘But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Deuteronomy 24
Does not the Lord have cause to have Divorced the SDA Church? If he has Divorced her would not he Break his own Statute above by giving a Defiled Church the Latter Rain? Would not Satan Win the Great Controversy if he did So?
Something God would Never Do.
We were never meant to separate from Bible Truth, but we were to separate from Sin and Sinners Regardless of What they Call themselves.
Something to Think about.
24 years ago our SDA church turned the service over to a group of teenagers, who proceeded to “go modern”. A bunch of us walked out after 5-or-so minutes & went to another church for a nice “normal” service – even my young granddaughter loved it. Our church never allowed a teen service again in the remaining 6 years I attended. What’s going on now is demonic. I don’t care anymore what they do, they’re watering themselves down in many areas to let the world come in; it will surely backfire on them when God lets loose with His judgments. “YOUR house is left unto you desolate.”
They are not restoring worship but instead perverting it.
