As part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s strategic partnership with AdventHealth, Seventh-day Adventists, through AdventHealth, will “sponsor” and “present” what the New York Times calls “Broadway’s Biggest Blockbuster” show. The Broadway production is titled “Wicked—the Untold True Story of the Witches of Oz.” [1] [2] This show about witches will be performed at the Walt Disney Theater from January 25 to February 12, 2023, with tickets available for Friday night and Saturday afternoon performances. In other words, AdventHealth is sponsoring entertainment shows about witches, demons and Satan on the Lord’s holy Sabbath day, which can cost up to $185 per person for front-row seating. [3]
AdventHealth is introducing new norms, customs, rules, and a new anti-biblical mission under the watchful eye of the North American Division (NAD) by throwing millions of dollars to sponsor every abominable entertainment program found in our culture. The Broadway musical “Wicked” is their most recent sponsorship. What we are witnessing today in Adventism is truly “wicked.” Instead of separating this wickedness from the church, it appears that the NAD wishes to convert the church to their wickedness by embracing and promoting AdventHealth and their corrupt ideology of mission.

We are in the midst of a great spiritual battle. There are some who are seeking to hijack the movement. I’m not sure if every Seventh-day Adventist has the courage to stand up against those who are trying to redefine the Seventh-day Adventist faith according to their liking and not according to the word of God.
The show “Wicked” features a goat (Satan) called Doctor Dillamond who is the teacher. [4]

Protesting is in our DNA. Today is Reformation Day, October 31, 2022. On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther posted his protest (95 Theses) on the church door of Wittenberg after he was disturbed about the apostasy in the Roman church. We, as Seventh-day Adventists, feel a kinship with the spirit of Martin Luther. We also feel a kinship with the spirit of our pioneers who rejected and resisted the Alpha of Apostasy in the days of Dr. Kellogg. Our people didn’t stay quiet in the face of apostasy. In that same spirit, we must disavow this culture of witchcraft, spiritualism, communication with the dead, and the Omega of Apostasy that is being spearheaded by AdventHealth. We are not just talking about a rogue church entity. AdventHealth has the full support of the Seventh-day Adventist church. That means, in order to resist apostasy and give a voice of protest, we have to be willing to put ourselves at risk and experience discomfort, rejection, humiliation, and ridicule.

Make your voice heard. Protest. Resist. Speak up. Of course, we must do so peacefully and respectfully, but we must also be willing to act, not just talk. Contact President G. Alexander Bryant and encourage your Seventh-day Adventist friends to do the same. If this terrible situation is corrected then praise the Lord. If nothing changes, then your protest will be recorded in the books of heaven and read on the Day of Judgment against these men. The Remnant people are supposed to be the best and brightest students of Bible prophecy. We are supposed to be the cream of the crop in this 6,000-year-long controversy. But if we sit quietly and say nothing, allowing apostasy to flourish, I believe we will be the most silenced and compromised group of cowards in the history of God’s 6,000-year-old commandment-keeping church. Enoch, Elijah, Jeremiah, John the Baptist, and other prophets did not remain silent. And by remaining silent, we validate and support the evil that is occurring today:
“The church as a whole is in a degree responsible for the wrongs of its individual members because they countenance the evil in not lifting up their voice against it.” (Testimonies, Vol. 4, p. 490).
“The plain, straight testimony must live in the church, or the curse of God will rest upon His people as surely as it did upon ancient Israel because of their sins. God holds His people, as a body, responsible for the sins existing in individuals among them. If the leaders of the church neglect to diligently search out the sins which bring the displeasure of God upon the body, they become responsible for these sins.” (Testimonies, Vol. 4, p. 269).

This can never be accepted as normal behavior for any SDA institution. I hope someone, anyone, will hold them to account. We know ultimately God will, but it shouldn’t have to come to this.

Advent Health has become an albatros on adventism.
Why are they allowed to do this sponsoring of the show wicked. Is there no oversite. Are they not accountable to others in our church? They will be on judgement day for sure.

A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure. – 1SM 204.2

It shows we are very near the end, God still has his 7000 faithful in modern Israel but the majority of the leadership has gone after the god of this world which is love of ease, pride and ambition to be recognized by the world therefore they will not stand up to this devil worship. We need to pray for some modern day Elijahs and John the Baptists and also examine our own lives.

Most horrible. My friend has been converting me from Baptist to SDA for years. As a Baptist I’d never see this. Very upsetting to see SDA promoting this! So why convert. They promote Witches, Wizards, Goat-teacher.
The apostate religious leaders in Jesus’ day cooperated with Satan in putting to death the Son of God, our King of kings.
But like Jesus, we must stand for truth, by His grace, no matter what the apostates do,
and pray as He did, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
