“We may have to remain here in this world because of insubordination many more years, as did the children of Israel; but for Christ’s sake, His people should not add sin to sin by charging God with the consequence of their own wrong course of action” (Evangelism, p. 696).
We don’t just want to act like insubordinate Rome; we also want to dress like them. On Sabbath, October 23, 2021, the Central States Conference of Seventh-day Adventists ordained Kimberly Bulgin to the gospel ministry. She was ordained into the ministry with full credentials. This is nothing less than insubordination. Here we have a conference that is challenging the authority of God’s word, church history and the authority of the General Conference World Session – a global assembly of over 2,500 delegates representing over 170 countries. On three different occasions the Seventh-day Adventist Church in a general session voted “no” to ordaining women into the gospel ministry.
However, the Central States Conference, fully aware of these events, is engaging in an act of defiance. This is a complete disrespect and a mockery of the wishes of the world church. Not only are we seeing outright rebellion, but the General Conference is doing absolutely nothing about these rogue entities that are spreading their feminist revolution. Today you can defy the clear teachings of God’s word, you can defy the decisions of the world church in general session and you can defy the expressed will of God about unity and cooperation and no one is disciplined.
Heresy is committed not only when we do wrong things, but also when we fail to correct the errors in our midst. We have both the sin of commission and the sin of omission. Both are equally wrong. We have some who are advancing the radical feminists agenda in the church and then we have others who are unwilling to do anything about it.
Pastor Roger Bernard, President of the Central States Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, gave the following remarks as he was surrounded by the pastors and administrators from the conference:
Hour 3:24:42 – “Certificate of Ordination, This certificate certifies that Kimberly A. Bulgin has given satisfactory evidence of the call to and preparation for the sacred work of the gospel ministry, was ordained at Kansas City, Kansas of the 23rd day of October, in the year of our Lord 2021 and is duly authorized under the provisions of the Seventh-day Adventist Church to perform all (pause and clapping) the functions of the ministerial office. Issued by the Central States Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and signed by your President, Vice President for Finance, Vice President for Administration, Ministerial Director, and Special Assistant to the President (ATP).
Hour 3:27:48 – “Every pastor needs a sword, and I know you have one already. But we want to present you with a Minister’s Bible. In this Bible there is your minister’s manual and some other things in there. And it is inscribed with your name on it. God bless you.
Hour 3:28:13 – And at this time we are going to ‘robe’ you. Yes we are going to ‘robe’ you.
By the way, the robes given by Conference President Roger Bernard were Catholic in appearance. These Seventh-day Adventists are following their own truth and not what the Bible teaches. There is no absolute truth for these people. The Central States Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is deliberately exalting ambiguity, distorting the Bible, advocating uncertainty and clouding truth. This is sinful, and they are deceiving souls. This is exactly what Rome does. They are following Rome not just in dress but also in theory.
Truth is never established by our own intuitions or feelings, and the truth about the role of men and women has already been determined in the mind of God and expressed in His word. Our duty as Seventh-day Adventists is to discern and defend God’s will in these matters because faith cannot be practiced without articulating what the Bible actually says. Sadly, people today want only a “form” of godliness while rejecting the clear teachings of God.
- Does it really matter that God commanded that men be ordained to the priesthood (Leviticus 8: 1, 2, 12; Exodus 29:9; Deuteronomy 10:8; Leviticus 17:21, 23)?
- Is it of little significance that when Moses organized his “council of elders” (Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 383) not one woman was named among the seventy (Numbers 11:16-26)?
- Is it of no concern that Christ Himself ordained 12 men when He founded the Christian church (Mark 3:14-19).
- Can we reject the biblical fact that only men were ordained to the gospel ministry through the laying of hands by the apostles of Christ: Matthias (Acts 1:21, 22, 26), Paul and Barnabas (Acts 13:1-3) and Timothy (2 Timothy 1:6; 1 Timothy 4:14)?
- Does it trouble some that lineal descent was reckoned in the Hebrew family through the male (see Matthew 1)?
- Does it sound strange to some that God Himself in addressing Eve told her that Adam “shall rule over thee” (Genesis 3:16).
- How about when Paul said, “”Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife” (Eph. 5:22, 23)?
- Will we also reject what the apostle Peter admonished when he said that the holy women of old were “in subjection unto their own husbands: even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord” (1 Peter 3:5, 6) and that “she is presented in the New Testament as a worthy example” (Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 147)?
What do we do with the following clear teachings of the Holy Scriptures?
- Man was created before Eve (Genesis 2:18; 1 Timothy 2:13).
- The woman was taken out of man (Genesis 2:22).
- Adam gave Eve her name, “She shall be called woman” (Genesis 2:23).
- Eve was created by God to be Adam’s “helper” (Genesis 2:18).
- Adam represented the entire human race, and he is credited for the death of all because of sin (1 Corinthians 15:22; Roman 5:12-14).
- God held Adam accountable as head of his household, “And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?” (Genesis 3:9). Here we see how God held Adam, as leader, responsible for his family even though it was the serpent who first deceived Eve.
Radical feminists and wimpy men want to change this arrangement. They want to pervert God’s divine intention. Our modern world has a view on gender that places equality over divine revelation. An unrealistic version of equality is being propelled above common sense, civility and biblical truth. There are clear distinctions and differences between men and women, and it is disturbing to see society blurring those gender lines. There is an effort to eliminate all of the safeguards which set men apart from women and vice versa.
Instead of celebrating and affirming the unique biblical differences between the two sexes, the ultimate objective is for men and women to have the very same indistinguishable and interchangeable roles. Anyone can become whatever they feel like becoming. Men can be women and women can be men. Sameness or identicalness between genders is what they consider “justice” and “equality.” This is not equality; it’s confusion. God has given unique, distinct roles to both men and women, and once we cower to the feminists’ demand that says, “Women ought to be men,” we invalidate the word of God by discarding theology, biology, history and psychology – all in the name of equality. This issue is not about equal rights, but about what God said is right.
LINDA F TAYLOR says
This is the very reason we have “black” churches, and “white” churches! “White” churches would never carry out a ceremony like the one we see here. With blacks, it is all about show and “look at me” attitude! I am sure the Lord weeps when he sees this going on in His remnant church. It will only get worse. Wait until we start seeing LGBTQ+ being “ordained” right in front of our very eyes. This is a door that has been opened, and will never be shut until the Lord returns.
These so called Seventh-day Adventists are not Adventists at all. They are playing with fire when they go against the GC and everything this church stands for. They will succeed for a short period of time, and then when they are sifted out, they will wonder where they went wrong……
Claudette Allen says
This is not true about black churches. No#1 white leave their church when blacks join. The very fact that women are becoming ordain pastor is something we really have to pray and ask the spirit what to do. It is still not clear for me. Many black church think women should not be pastors. Ask God what to do. Not so much the church. One love

Why not read the Bible God has said his word …

The color of one skin represents all of the same color, is a bold statement coming from a fellow SDA.

White churches started so much of this. LGBT, women wearing pants, makeup, jewelry & women pastors.
Hespins Mwanamuchende says
No ways, there’s nothing like ‘black’ or ‘white’ churches, no! Am super black but don’t accept ‘Women Ordination’ because it’s against the Bible. An individual’s beliefs should not be regarded as inclusive of others, either Blacks or Whites. We all have to follow Biblical teachings and Spirit of Prophecy because these two will usher us into heavenly Canaan.
God has raised a prophetess in Africa, Zambia in particular. She’s the last Elijah and God is rebuking the bad traits that the Seventh-day Adventist Church has embraced. God has called it Babylon, why? Because of embracing such dark theories which are against Bible teachings, they are from Catholicism. But God has His people who uphold the faith of our fathers and those are the ones He regards as His true church, the SDA church. Some Church leaders hate her because of God’s rebuking of the apostacy in the SDA world church through her.
She was told to announce the beginning of the judgement of the living but church leaders have ignored her. There we are now, dressing female pastors in Catholic gowns, abomination! God is now judging the outsiders and their judgement is very very short. God speaks to her everyday and satan attacks because of that.
David Morris says
She is calling the SDA Church Babylon? And she claims that God has told her the judgment of the living has started, or that she knows when it will start? We have counsel against both things. I fear she is a false prophet. I have heard others make such claims, and all have proved to be false.
Serafina Sturge says
you men need to get over yourselves, stop quoting the Bible which has been changed and meddled with so many times by men to suit them selves and retain their so called superiority over women. Only men who have no intrinsic self esteem must subordinate women to keep themselves puffed up. Step aside guys, you are now vintage.
Rick says
I must address your comment about ‘white churches would never do this’…you are blatantly stating that the white churches have it together.
Apostasy at the Jordan encompasses many forms of sin and departure from the living God . This departure is by the people of God NO MATTER THEIR RACE . As many of our churches embrace ecumenism black and white , are they not committing spiritual adultery with the apostate churches ? .This is exactly what happened with ancient Israel .We have forgotten how then LORD has led us in the distant and recent past . A new way of doing things has been instituted .
These sins and errors of ancient Israel are being repeated by the people of God NOW .
We see what was their end , and we are in danger of meeting that same end .
Numbers 25 shows us a template of what we SHOULD NOT be doing now . We should not follow Rome in any way shape or form .
May we all wake up before it is too late .
Donna Meyer says
I have to agree with you, sin lies at the door of both races.
Chilaka A C says
If this is a joke, it’s such an expensive one – gambling with eternal life.
The Unions we have under the General Conference should speak out against this evil; the G C, too; pending when appropriate sanctions will be matted out to all involved in this sacrilege.
Let all Seventh Day Adventist be watchful and show self standing on the Lord’s side as we go through these last hours of Earth history. Shalom!
Scott says
White guy here. While I think Central States is in rebellious defiance of the GC, I also don’t think white churches (some) are any more righteous on this issue than black groups. Many white conferences have been pushing this issue for years. The next thing, of course, will be to embrace the LGBT agenda. All “faiths” that now accept and defend the LGBT agenda first embraced the feminist movement. Wait for it.
Lucia Hofmeister says

This is not a racial specific issue
The SDA Church owns many hospitals and schools. They are using coercion to try to force people into getting a highly politicized vax. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit
Not everyone is comfortable putting aborted fetal cell derived substances into the Temple for a germ with a 99% survival rate
What happened to liberty of conscience? I see that many churches are lining up with Babylon’s agenda
Blinded by the prince of darkness, popular religionists will see only as he sees, and feel only as he feels.
They will determine as he determines, and oppress as he has oppressed.
Liberty of conscience which has cost this nation so great a sacrifice, will no longer be respected. The church and the world will unite, and the world will lend to the church her power to crush out the right of the people to worship God according to His Word. “Black churches “, “white churches “… apostasy doesn’t discriminate color or gender. Have you seen what is going on in California?
Unfortunately sin, in so many manifestations, is running unchecked in the SDA Church, but God’s church (remnant) will not fall
Margitta says
The “remnant” are those ppl (black and white) who listen to the 3 Angels message and “come out of Babylon (the churches) so that they are not partakers of her sins”.
In my opinion, it is time to start small home based Sabbath gatherings to celebrate God’s day of rest.
Claudette Allen says
What is the evil

It is just better for me to go back to Babylon because there no difference between Babylon and the activities of the pure woman

Emmanuel Z. Tarr says
I challenge the central conference to give me scriptural reference from the Bible that recommend women ordination. You can check from Genesis to Revelation you will not see it there, and even Ellen G. White didn’t teach such thing. She discourage that. Those guys are the agents of the devil came to pullute the church.
Marcia says
Emanuel dont let this discourages you, this is how the devil works, stay in the ship my brother, God is still in control. If we cannot run with footmen now, how are we going to run with the horsemen? You and I should daily put our houses in order tomorrow is not promised to us.
Hespins Mwanamuchende says
True, I have already started doing that with my family.
Paul says
The word of God never fails.
I wonder how God feels whenHe sees all this evil happening at a time when we need to be United to take the 3 angels message to the world.
It’s interesting to note that Kimberly was presented with the ministers Bible which contains the end result of the rebellion of Korah, Abiram and Dathan and the 250 princes of Isreal.
“Moses got up and went to Dathan and Abiram, and the elders of Israel followed him. He warned the assembly, “Move back from the tents of these wicked men! Do not touch anything belonging to them, or you will be swept away because of all their sins.” So they moved away from the tents of Korah, Dathan and Abiram.” Num 16: 25-27
I would advise she read that story in the Bible. History will repeat itself again. Rebellion has only one end, destruction.
Sydney Chimgwede says
I take it that whites are holier than black! The ordination does not mean that every black person is in support of it. It’s the general conference that is supporting it. Is GC black? Why is it silence? The whole church is rotten, beyond the limit.
Paul says
My fellow Christians, we are far from reaching the divine standard. Our works do not correspond with our privileges and opportunities…. – {OHC 305.2}
In the service of God there is no middle ground…. Let none expect to make a compromise with the world, and yet enjoy the blessing of the Lord. Let God’s people come out from this world, and be separate. Let us seek more earnestly to know and do the will of our Father in heaven. Let the light of truth which has shone upon us be so received that its bright rays may go forth from us to the world. Let unbelievers see that the faith we hold makes us better men and better women; that it is a living reality, sanctifying the character, transforming the life…. Let our conversation be upon heavenly things. Let us surround ourselves with an atmosphere of Christian cheerfulness. Let us show that our religion can stand the test of trial. Let us by our kindness, forbearance, and love prove to the world the power of our faith. – {OHC 305.3}
LK & EK says
I personally believe that the General Conference leadership, in fact, DOES endorse this, although we hear weak and anemic statements from Conference sympathizers to the contrary. This, in my opinion, IS the desired result, and the direction they want the church to go. That is why you will NEVER see any serious action taken.
Ed Kotz says
Yes, exactly.
Claudette Allen says
I wish black, white, Hispanic can come together in harmony in our perspective. We can respect our opinion. Sure some of us are in left field but understand that is where we are as individuals. If it raining female pastor is wrong ask God to reveal it in such a way that we clearly understand. Ordain and leadership is it in the same. Mary Magdalene followed Jesus she was one advocater for Jesus. Let us walk in sincerity not in debate. If I am thinking wrong pray for me
VR Williams says
I have come to realize that when it comes to spiritual matters, we should not have an opinion, but be guided by a “thus said the Lord”. In all matters our options are to be (1) what does the Word of God say on a particular matter, and (2) are we willing to obey what has been clearly revealed. The real question is who has authority over our lives, and there can only be 2 sources. There are at least 8 stories in scripture that clearly fit the WO dilemma as examples, all of which didn’t end very well for the subjects who went against the express will of God, and which the bible and SOP called “sin”. I’ll be more than happy to share those references.
Mimi says
I agree with you. Please share references with me.

Fulcrum7 had an article about her becoming a pastor, there was quotes from her and possibly her book,
Filthy stuff not worth repeating, makes me wonder if her promotion to pastor was some kind of sick experiment, her quotes ranged from encouragement towards adulterous before marriage acts, pornographic lewdness, and looked like she was uplifting masterbation,
something went terribly wrong there,
Opposite course to Nehemiah confirmed.

Mrs White said in the last days the true childern of God would leave the nonimal Adventist church and the church will spit because of the true word of God. We can see the total disregard of God’s leading. Sad day keep looking up.

Why do we allow women to train as Pastors in the first place if our position is that they are not fit for that office?
Hespins Mwanamuchende says
Imagine friend! The GC has allowed this, but are now acting innocent.
Gender equality is from the pit of hell and we should condemn it as such.
Beyan MORRIS KOIKOI says
What the GC is doing about this,,,,???? Woman ordination is not Biblical,,no there in the Bible a woman was ordained as minister of the Gospel,,even in the early church history we don’t have any record of women ordination,,the first ordination in the early church were all men(the seven Deacons) ,,we claims to be the remnants but we are not doing what the remnants need to do,,,we claim to have the truth but we are not portraying it,,…
No to women ordination.
Steve Rosenthal says
Woman ordination should not have been permitted to be carried out in that seventh-day adventist church. For all those who allowed it they will be in danger of he’ll fire. Jesus has never permitted such a thing. If this continues in the church God himself is asking us to leave it and start another one that him glory. Just as the Jewish people was to be God shining light but because of disrespect it caused them to be that light. So will it be with the Adventists in whole if they do not stop thing. Steven Rosenthal
Mary says
Deborah judged Israel, because there were no men fitted for the role? Ordaining women is a taking of the churches temperature, and shows her as very cold, in addition to being blind, naked, and spiritually poor even though increased with goods and “in need of nothing.” What breaks my heart is the lack of strong male leadership in our church. Where are the Elijah’s? I know they’re there, 144,000 of them, but as yet they are silent, my question is why? Maybe like John the Baptist, their time hasn’t come yet. As weak as she is, the church is the apple of God’s eye, and He loves her💒 It’s time to call the World to repentance, and preach the straight truth. Jesus return is even at the door✨ We need to stop “marrying” the World spiritually, and get back to being “one” with God and His Word🙏🏻
Dee Gee says
God uses both black and white, male and female, boys and girls to spread the everlasting gospel to the world. God is still in control of His church and what He says goes. Regardless of what you and I think or do. He already told us what to look for in the last days. Did He not use women in the OT and also in the NT. Florence Nightingale was used by God to start the Nursing profession and we certainly are benefiting from that today. Let us be careful how we criticise God’s church.
