Where are those who will defend our faith when it is being openly and publicly put to shame? Where are those who will stand up against blasphemy? Will we remain lukewarm and do nothing and be vomited out, or will we stand up and be counted while Adventism is being desecrated? The time for talking is over. The time for action is now. Who will stand in defense of truth, purity, and good?

The Seventh-day Adventist Matric Higher Secondary & ICSE School is located in the Pulierranghy neighborhood in the town of Thiruvattar, in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is listed in the Seventh-day Adventist Yearbook as the Pulierranghy Adventist Higher Secondary School. [1]
The school recently held a talent show for 2023 that featured singing, dancing, drama, and music. It lasted for about 7 1/2 hours. [2] Together with the current and former principal as well as a regional church educator, the local pastor was present. There were prayers offered up, asking God to bless a profane and sacrilegious event that God cannot and will not bless.
In the video, you will see young Seventh-day Adventist children dancing to the vulgar lyrics of Rapper YG and his song “One Time Coming.” Shakira’s “Wakka Wakka” was also played as the students danced to her song. Shakira, who is called the Queen of Latin music, is an artist and dancer who is known for her hip movements. Daddy Yankee, the famous Puerto Rican rapper with his style of reggaeton music, was also featured, and very young students danced to his famous song “Gasolina.” In addition, the internationally well-known song “Barbie Girl” was played while girls danced, imitating what the world does. But what was even more appalling was when the Pokémon dance song called Pikachu was played. This is a Spanish reggaeton song that says, “Look at how those rear ends bounce.” This was played as little girls were dancing. These are the kind of worldly and secular artists who have become the new role models for our youth.
Instead of pointing students toward Christ, electronic dance music, flashing lights, crazy dancing, chicken suits, cow heads, boys dancing in women’s dresses, and other displays are misleading them and preparing them to join the world. In fact, the world has come in and taken over our schools. We don’t have to send our children into the world to learn the ways of our godless society; they are being taught these things in our schools.
You can see how prayers were made to God at the end of the video, asking Him to bless everything that was done. They even asked God for angelic protection. But how can God even hear these kinds of prayers when our institutions are turned into Super Bowl half-time shows? When we lose the heavenly vision of what our schools are supposed to be, how can we ask God to bless godlessness? We are called to be the light and salt of this world and to lead an exemplary life by guiding people from darkness to light. But instead, we have embraced the world’s darkness, and we are spreading the world’s music, dancing, and entertainment shows, all with the support of the church administrators who were present watching all of this.
God’s word tells us clearly that when our schools become too worldly, it’s time to get rid of them and sell them out to the world:
“If morality and religion are to live in a school, it must be through a knowledge of God’s word. Some may urge that if religious teaching is to be made prominent our school will become unpopular; that those who are not of our faith will not patronize the college. Very well, then, let them go to other colleges, where they will find a system of education that suits their taste. Our school was established, not merely to teach the sciences, but for the purpose of giving instruction in the great principles of God’s word and in the practical duties of everyday life. This is the education so much needed at the present time. If a worldly influence is to bear sway in our school, then sell it out to worldlings and let them take the entire control; and those who have invested their means in that institution will establish another school, to be conducted, not upon the plan of popular schools, nor according to the desires of principal and teachers, but upon the plan which God has specified” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 25).

Every institution that bears the name of Seventh-day Adventist is to be to the world as was Joseph in Egypt, and as were Daniel and his fellows in Babylon. In the providence of God these men were taken captive, that they might carry to heathen nations the knowledge of the true God. They were to be representatives of God in our world. They were to make no compromise with the idolatrous nations with which they were brought in contact, but were to stand loyal to their faith, bearing as a special honor the name of worshipers of the God who created the heavens and the earth.—Testimonies for the Church 8:153. – PM 42.2
These institutions are to stand as witnesses for God, teachers of righteousness to the people. From them truth is to go forth as a lamp that burneth. The name, Seventh-day Adventist, is a standing rebuke to the Protestant world. Here is the line of distinction between the worshipers of God, and those who worship the beast, and receive his mark. The great conflict is between the commandments of God and the requirements of the beast. It is because the saints are keeping all ten of the commandments that the dragon makes war upon them; and if they will lower the standard and yield the peculiarities of their faith, the dragon will be at peace. – 4bSG 54.4
After all that dancing and gyrating to the din of Satan along with the wearing of idol ornaments, exactly to which god is that dear young lady at the end of the performance praying to? My heart goes out to these young children who are being led dreadfully astray by their ignorant (?) and unconverted teachers. I do know there are faithful SDA workers, preachers and teachers in these countries, but they are lay people quietly doing the work and will not be found among those portrayed in this and many other videos you have shared. May God protect His faithful, humble people throughout Asia who often work in extremely difficult circumstances as they spread the truth throughout their land.
It is impossible for God to bless something that goes contrary to His will for His church. This is how the Canaanites worshiped their false gods.

Some weeks before the death of my husband, I urged upon him the importance of seeking a field of labor where we would be released from the burdens necessarily coming upon us at Battle Creek. In reply he spoke of various matters which required attention before we could leave,—duties which some one must do. Then with deep feeling he inquired: “Where are the men to do this work? Where are those who will have an unselfish interest in our institutions, and who will stand for the right, unaffected by any influence with which they may come in contact?” LS 248.1
With tears he expressed his anxiety for our institutions at Battle Creek. Said he: “My life has been given to the upbuilding of these institutions. It seems like death to leave them. They are as my children, and I cannot separate my interest from them. These institutions are the Lord’s instrumentalities to do a specific work. Satan seeks to hinder and defeat every means by which the Lord is working for the salvation of men. If the great adversary can mould these institutions according to the world’s standard, his object is gained. It is my greatest anxiety to have the right man in the right place. If those who stand in responsible positions are weak in moral power and vacillating in principle, inclined to lead toward the world, there are enough who will be led.
