The Calumpang Youth Festival (CYF) is an annual international youth day celebration that takes place in the Calumpang district in the city of General Santos, Philippines. This event is hosted by the local government. The 2022 Calumpang Youth Festival was a non-stop, action-packed week of activities that included dancing, music concerts, LGBT+ indoctrination, beauty contests, sports, games, environmental sustainability, and, of course, free bubble-gum flavored condoms and lubricants.

The week-long celebration began on August 9, 2022 with a parade in the city leading to a lighting ceremony with fire and dancing and ended with an “Ecumenical Night,” in which Roman Catholic, Evangelical, and Seventh-day Adventist youth “captured the moment to reconnect and say thanks to the Almighty.” This is what is described in the Facebook post below. Notice how the event sponsors described the CYF 2022 celebration. They said it began with a “blast” and ended with “solemnity.”

In other words, after a week of partying, playing, and celebrating, the five churches, which included Catholics, Evangelicals, and Seventh-day Adventists, were able to “reconnect” everyone to the “Almighty.” How can God’s people believe that they can sanctify an event that God cannot sanctify?
What is the point of handing out bubble-gum-flavored condoms and lubricants to hundreds of young boys and girls at an international youth event? [1] What message is being sent? This provokes young people to sin. These candy-flavored condoms are marketed to children in order to increase their interest and overall appeal towards sex.
Kids like sweets. That is why there are sugar-sweetened cereals, sugar-sweetened e-cigarettes, and now sugar-sweetened condoms. It doesn’t get much more blatant than this. It’s quite clearly targeted at kids and tempting them to sin. [2]
These condoms and lubricants were distributed by different organizations that were present at the CYF 2022 event [3] We can educate our young people and children about sex education without encouraging them to engage in sinful behavior.
The CYF 2022 event also had literature for the youth encouraging them to explore their sexual identities. [4] This was a recruitment drive to gain more LGBT+ adherents. All the music and games were only to attract them and get them in the door, and once inside, the LGBT+ recruitment began.
The family is one of the pillars of civilization. This is a treasured institution that we must fight to preserve. The survival of society is dependent on our capacity to preserve the families that God has entrusted to us. Because members of the LGBT+ movement cannot procreate on their own, they are continually recruiting new members. The organizers of the CYF 2022 were clearly intent on spreading their LGBT+ propaganda to all the young people. [5]
Once our youth are subjected to this kind of brainwashing, it is almost impossible to remove from their young impressionable minds the lies that they are fed. [6]
This is why they are trying to recruit our children when they are young. [7] Don’t dismiss the profit motive for LGBT+ recruitment. One LGBT+ member is worth millions of dollars in psychological treatments, pharmaceuticals, therapists, doctors, and surgeons to help them transition.
This is the new dogma and religion for the young people. [8] Environmental protection and conservation have become the new moral issues for this time. Premarital sex and homosexuality are no longer sinful by the world’s standards. The new sins are the crimes against the environment.
Here we see the radical “Earth Day” climate change agenda. [9] We know what day is Earth Day. Tragically, Earth Day is being ascribed to Sunday, the false day of rest.
The plan is much more than just going green. [10] The radical environmental movement is equating the earth to a living being, Mother Earth. They talk more about the creation than the Creator. There is a movement to worship the planet. The earth is being exalted to the status of divinity. By venerating the earth, the world is rejecting Biblical truth. God is being dethroned and Mother Earth is taking His place.
Pope Francis was also represented at the CYF 2022. [11] He is the head and leader of the global environmental movement. And no ecumenical or climate change gathering is complete without the head and father of all climate change activists.

On a Saturday night, the Calumpang Youth Festival 2022 celebrated with “vibrant vibrations and ecstatic energy!” This was a hip-hop dance competition in which numerous dance groups competed against each other. The music was so loud that the event organizers characterized it as follows in the Facebook post above:
“The joy was contagious and addicting when you can hear the loud cheers within the 2 mile radius … There is no doubt that this festival celebrates our youthful days!” (Facebook post).
A two-mile radius? This is similar to when Joshua and Moses received the Law of God. They heard what they thought was the sound of war in the camp of Israel. But it wasn’t the sound of war; it was the people singing and dancing before the golden calf. (Exodus 32:15-29).
These kinds of activities are not preparing our young people to live in the presence of a holy God. This is preparing them to be part of the world and to take part in the general destruction of the wicked when Jesus comes again.
This part of the CYF 2022 event was described as “contagious and addicting.” It is true, just like alcohol and sex. Their faces appear to be possessed by demons. [12] That’s where it’s all leading.
This is what some envision for our young people. [13] How should we respond? Should we respond with shouts of praise and applause? Or do we take our children out of these hotbeds of sin and instill in them a sense of moral value? If we do not instill in our young children a love for truth and holiness, if we do not mold pure characters in their lives to prepare them for heaven, then we will reap the bitterest reproaches from our children on the Day of Judgment.
This was a competition to determine who could win by dancing in a style that elicited the most applause from the audience. [14] What’s more unsettling is the audience’s excitement and clapping, as well as the smiles from the youth.
The CYF 2022 Hip-hop Dance Floor Invasion. [15] Worldliness, sensuality, and music are leavening the spirituality and godliness of society. Who has time to hear the sweet voice of the Spirit of God when the music is so loud that it can be heard within a two-mile radius?
Then, all of a sudden, at the close of this week-long party [16], just like a miracle, the youth from the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Roman Catholic Church, and the Evangelical Churches were able to “reconnect” everyone back to God again through an ecumenical worship service. At least, that is what they believe. Is this what our people believe as well? Are we going to agree with all of this and just accept it?
All of these children are being taught and indoctrinated by corrupt and broken ideals. And are we completely content that our current culture exposes our children to these insanities? Instead of influencing the world and presenting people to God’s last warning message, they are educating us with their value system, which directly opposes God’s word. Why do we send our children to these places?
Our children are being targeted in a vast, organized attack. Will we simply close our eyes to this? This occurs because the majority agrees with it and says or does nothing. We basically seem to want to agree with anything the leadership says. We are not permitted to inquire. We are not meant to question what we are told. And we should never protest to whatever our church does. We are supposed to accept everything that is happening in Adventism today.
The bigger questions are: Why are the children participating in this? Why are they being subjected to these events? The answer is depressing. They are acting in this manner because the leadership is also doing the very same thing. That is the example that the church’s ecumenical agents have set for our youth. How can we warn our children not to visit these venues while the leadership goes and engages in the same heinous behavior?
What we see happening in the Philippines is not an isolated incident. It’s happening everywhere. It’s happening in churches and schools all across the world. Our young people are being swept away by society’s corrupt, worldly culture, and those in responsible positions are letting it happen. Some church leaders are actually guiding our youth down this destructive path. Unless we repent and ask God to give us the moral fortitude to actually take real steps to stop this assault against our people, the flood-gate of apostasy will continue to sweep away all the spirituality and sacredness of the movement. We will not receive the seal of the living God if we encourage this behavior, make excuses for it, or remain neutral during a time of spiritual crisis:
“Who are standing in the counsel of God at this time? Is it those who virtually excuse wrongs among the professed people of God and who murmur in their hearts, if not openly, against those who would reprove sin? Is it those who take their stand against them and sympathize with those who commit wrong? No, indeed! Unless they repent, and leave the work of Satan in oppressing those who have the burden of the work and in holding up the hands of sinners in Zion, they will never receive the mark of God’s sealing approval. They will fall in the general destruction of the wicked … Mark this point with care: Those who receive the pure mark of truth, wrought in them by the power of the Holy Ghost, represented by a mark by the man in linen, are those ‘that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done’ in the church. Their love for purity and the honor and glory of God is such, and they have so clear a view of the exceeding sinfulness of sin” (Testimonies, Vol. 3, p. 267).

Our society is getting worse partly because those Christians attending this event have lost their will to be a light in this world.
We need some spiritual leaders to asume their pastoral duties in this situation. Who will step up?
I pray the Lord open the eyes of these young people and their parents.

The day of God’s vengeance is just upon us. The seal of God will be placed upon the foreheads of those only who sigh and cry for the abominations done in the land. Those who link in sympathy with the world are eating and drinking with the drunken and will surely be destroyed with the workers of iniquity. “The eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.” {5T 212.3}
The class who do not feel grieved over their own spiritual declension, nor mourn over the sins of others, will be left without the seal of God. The Lord commissions His messengers, the men with slaughtering weapons in their hands: “Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.” {5T 211.1}
Here we see that the church–the Lord’s sanctuary–was the first to feel the stroke of the wrath of God. The ancient men, those to whom God had given great light and who had stood as guardians of the spiritual interests of the people, had betrayed their trust. They had taken the position that we need not look for miracles and the marked manifestation of God’s power as in former days. Times have changed. These words strengthen their unbelief, and they say: The Lord will not do good, neither will He do evil. He is too merciful to visit His people in judgment. Thus “Peace and safety” is the cry from men who will never again lift up their voice like a trumpet to show God’s people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. These dumb dogs that would not bark are the ones who feel the just vengeance of an offended God. Men, maidens, and little children all perish together. {5T 211.2}

This ecumenical agenda is designed to destroy God’s people. Why can’t we see this? It is so obvious. To many willing Seventh-day Adventists are willing pawns going along with this.
These are the future church leaders.
Scary to think that but you are right! This is one of the reasons why we are having such a mountain of problems within the church…our current leaders were the teenagers of the 60’s and 70’s…all that peace, love, pot growing and smoking, beer and wine drinking Woodstock hippy mentality ! Not saying that all of our leaders have imbibed in the deceptions of liberal theology but one only need to see the liberal fruit growing on their tree to know what kind of tree it is…by their fruit you shall know them.
This is a failure on the part of parents.
Sometimes but not always…think of Cain and Abel… there are people who come out of horrible childhoods of bad parenting and they are wonderful people (God gets all the praise). And then there are absolutely rotten people who come out of seemingly wonderful childhoods.
But this by no means let’s the parents off the hook. They are still accountable for how they raised the child to the age of accountability. Jesus was 12 years old when he recognized his responsibility to His Heavenly Father.
Matthew 24:24 tells us that the end-time deception, if it were possible, would deceive the very elect.
Bubble gum flavored lubricants and condoms? Really gross. The only way you would know the flavor of it is by putting it into your mouth. God did not create our mouths for such activities. Our mouths are for praise, praying, supplication, and thanksgiving and of course eating and drinking those things that God said we can eat and drink. And why hand out these items except to promote and expect the behavior.
And if you don’t know what you are while standing in a shower or taking a bath your level of intelligence would and should prevent you from making decisions as to whether or not you should use the bubble gum flavored condoms and lubricant. Then again you might also need instruction on how those items are used…
It should also make it obvious to you that the bubble gum flavor is intentional because your mental acuity is only at elementary school level. Hence bubble gum!
Do these youth have godly parents? Were they lied to about what the event was going to be? They need our prayers!!
