All those who told us that ecumenism was simply mingling with others will have a lot to answer for on the Day of Judgment. Ecumenism has taken a new turn as Seventh-day Adventists in Palermo, Italy, have opened their church doors to celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia, which is observed on May 17 every year and aims to coordinate international events that raise awareness of LGBT+ rights and equality.
The following was published on May 12, 2022 by La Repubblica, a major daily newspaper in Rome:
“Today is the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia … Today Sicily also joins the day against homophobia with two large rallies in Palermo and Catania … The torchlight procession against homophobia is scheduled at 6.30 pm in Piazza Alberigo Gentili, while the prayer vigil will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Christian church at 8 pm. In Catania, at 16.30, the gathering with the young people of Arcigay in Piazza Bellini, including games, debates on civil rights, music and dancing.” [1]
Younipa, a blog from the University of Palermo, Italy, published the following:
“Today, May 17, is the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, recognized in over 130 countries around the world … On the occasion of this important day, the events that lead us towards Pride 2022 begin in Palermo. Ecumenical prayer vigil for overcoming homo-lesbo-bi-trans-phobia: Torchlight procession at 5.00 pm (Piazza Alberico Gentili), prayer vigil at 8.00 pm (Seventh-day Adventist Church, Via Di Marzo 25), organized by the ecumenical coordination for overcoming homo-lesbo-bi-trans-phobia with Eagle Wings – Christian LGBT people.” [2]
In Italy, Seventh-day Adventists are attempting to bless sodomy. They’re opening their churches for prayer to honor the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. It has become clear that those responsible for caring for the church have fallen silent and asleep while the faith is being profaned.

The putrefaction of the faith will only continue to spread until someone stands up and resists this. The devil is waging a war against the commandment-keeping people, and will anyone intervene or step in to stop this? We are complicit in a movement that promotes lies, seduces our children, and recruits them into the LGBT+ lifestyle. When will this end, or is it just getting started?
As God’s people, we do not despise anyone, but we cannot use our churches to pray for God’s blessings on a movement that seeks to normalize homosexuality in society. Instead of celebrating sin, our churches should be teaching people about biblical faith and God’s ways. Those who perform these sacrilegious, ecumenical, LGBT-affirming religious ceremonies in any Seventh-day Adventist church should be aware that they are taking part in a demonic celebration intended to bless sodomy, something which God says He cannot bless.
This is blatant disobedience to the will of God. It is time to fast track the removal of those who participated in this scandal that has been broadcasted openly in the public press. We need to follow the example of when God called on His people to clean up camp from those who repudiate the faith and brough in heresies among the faithful. Jesus cleansed the temple twice; can’t our leaders remove the LGBT+ agitators before they sink the entire ship with them in the ocean of immorality, ignorance and wickedness?
“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” Matthew 5:13.
Salt has the ability to fight putrefaction, and Christ has sent us with the gospel to be salt, to fight sin and rot rather than to celebrate it. It is a sign that we have lost our saltiness when we decide to open our churches to celebrate sodomy. We’re losing our salt as a result of the ecumenical movement, and we’re no longer serving the purpose for which God created us.
Will the church maintain its silence on biblical sexuality? Will they do something about the heresy that is infiltrating Adventism and is spiritually destroying God’s people? Do we not have an issue with some of our churches’ believing that prayer vigils to encourage LGBT+ awareness are not against church doctrine? Or, is it possible that our silence is due to our support for the LGBT+ movement’s prayer vigils in our churches? In any case, we are experiencing a faith crisis, and God is looking for someone to stand up for His truth at this critical juncture in history.

As with other churches that have strayed from the faith, this issue will divide Adventists.

I’m convinced the plus + in LGBTQ+ stands for an inclusive amount of things they are shy to speak about, like Pedophile Priests and Pedophilia, after all it’s the sexuality origin story for many homosexuals,
This eccumenical day looks like it was to directly celebrate sexual Sins…

The newspaper said this ecumenical prayer vigil was leading up to Pride Month 2022. Why would our people support this?

This is so sad. We should be teaching the truth.

“Deal faithfully with wrongdoing. Warn every soul that is in danger. Leave none to deceive themselves. Call sin by its right name. Declare what God has said in regard to lying, Sabbathbreaking, stealing, idolatry, and every other evil. ‘They which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.’ Galatians 5:21. If they persist in sin, the judgment you have declared from God’s word is pronounced upon them in heaven. In choosing to sin, they disown Christ; the church must show that she does not sanction their deeds, or she herself dishonors her Lord. She must say about sin what God says about it. She must deal with it as God directs, and her action is ratified in heaven. He who despises the authority of the church despises the authority of Christ Himself.” – {DA 805.4}

We should not exclude anyone from our churches, but we also cannot exclude God’s truth from our teaching.

Repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:15.
“Repent, and be baptized.” Acts 2:38.
We no longer preach the repentance of sin which is necessary for embracing the gospel.

They are trying to be politically correct. Instead they are biblically wrong.

The church needs to get back to the basics of giving the true message for this time.
