On October 6, 2022, several churches gathered together with Lili Campos, a politician, and the local municipal president to celebrate the Inter-religious Fair for Peace. They gathered at the Playa del Carmen municipal seat in Quintana Roo, Mexico called “Civic Square July 28,” which was so named to honor the date the municipality was established.
The local newspaper reported the following:
• “With actions that promote peace, respect and tolerance for religious diversity, the government headed by Lili Campos held the 1st Inter-religious Fair for Peace with various churches, in the July 28 Civic Square.” [1]
• “On behalf of the municipal president Lili Campos, the government secretary Kira Iris assured that peace and respect are fostered, ties, friends, opportunities are generated and the common good is built.” [1]
• “What we are looking for in this interregional fair is to create spaces to promote the social and cultural contributions of the different religious traditions, organize cultural events that contribute to the recognition of cultural and social diversity, create spaces for dialogue with the educational field to promote inclusion and religious tolerance, forums for discussion and analysis on the contribution of the religious sphere to the sustainable development goals.” [1]
The local newspaper went on to list the church affiliation of those who attended:
“At this first fair the active participants were the Missionaries of Jesus Christ, Caritas Quintana Roo, Al-Anon family groups, Regnum Christi, Apostles of the Word, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Prayer and Life Workshops, as well as the Sol Deo Gloria orchestra, that entertained the event while the churches toured the booths.” [1]
Who were these faith-based groups that Seventh-day Adventists in Mexico were so eager to join? Below, we will explain them in more detail:
• Missionaries of Jesus Christ – Latter-day Saints.
• Caritas Quintana Roo – a Catholic charity group whose international headquarters is in Rome. [2]
• Al-Anon family groups – a support group for alcoholics.
• Regnum Christi – a Roman Catholic order that consists of the Legionaries of Christ, consecrated women, consecrated men, and lay members. [3]
• Apostles of the Word – a Roman Catholic order that defends Catholicism and offers “a service to the Church, aimed at strengthening the faith of Catholics against the onslaught of sects and the new religiosity.” [4]
• Prayer and Life Workshops – a Vatican-approved order of missionaries dedicated to introducing people to “liturgical prayer and sacramental life.” [5]
• Sol Deo Gloria orchestra – “Sol Deo Gloria” is Latin for “Glory be to God the Sun.”
Today we are witnessing a new intimate relationship between militant Roman Catholic Orders and Seventh-day Adventists. So intimate are these new relationships that they are nearly one, sharing one common vision and mission. Today we see partnerships and, in some cases, mergers between the churches under the cloak of diversity, dialogue, inclusion, sustainability, and the common good.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico, also published the news of their meeting with the various Roman Catholic religious orders in the Facebook post mentioned above. The churches are coming together, not to embrace the faith of Jesus or the gospel, but to heal the deadly wound of the first beast, Rome (Revelation 13:3). Part of the healing involves closing the split that was created by the Protestant churches that separated from the Catholic Church over doctrinal issues. That is why Pope Francis is urging Protestants to put aside their theological differences and work together on social issues in order to heal the deadly wound.
Remember that Rome has not changed any of her beliefs. Part of the reason why Pope Francis doesn’t want us to focus on doctrine is because this is the same power that claims to have the authority to change God’s 10 Commandment moral law. This is the same power that claims infallibility. This is the same power that claims to forgive sin. This is the same power whose doctrines teach people to pray to the dead and to bow down before idols that cannot hear or see. In fact, not one of the doctrines has changed in Rome since the early days, when she began incorporating all of the pagan customs into the church. None, not even one.
It is one thing when church leaders engage in interfaith activities aimed at seeking a better relationship with the papacy at their own expense, but it is completely incomprehensible when we use our children as political pawns to pursue closer ties with Rome.
“The time was when Protestants placed a high value upon the liberty of conscience which had been so dearly purchased. They taught their children to abhor popery and held that to seek harmony with Rome would be disloyalty to God. But how widely different are the sentiments now expressed!” (Great Controversy, p. 563).
Seventh-day Adventists cannot work for social justice alongside Rome or apostate Protestants because they hold a very different view of what justice is. These corrupt and fallen churches are hostile toward the clear moral teaching of the Bible that defines right and wrong. God’s law is the foundation for justice, and Babylon’s view of social justice is to promote gay marriage, gender confusion, LGBT+ rights, Sunday sacredness, Mother Earth pantheism, ecocide, ecological repentance, and many other policies that are incompatible with the word of God.
For the Christian, true justice is found in God’s law. The Biblical view of justice is that we keep God’s commandments because they define what our duty is to God and to man. God tells us to keep His commandments so that “it may go well” with everyone and that all can “prosper” (Deuteronomy 4:40) and live in peace. This is completely contrary to what the “man of sin’ is doing today. And as Christ’s representatives, we cannot be found promoting Rome’s agenda while neglecting to do our work, which is to proclaim to the world the first, second, and third angels’ messages.
“The religion of Jesus is endangered. It is being mingled with worldliness. Worldly policy is taking the place of the true piety and wisdom that comes from above, and God will remove His prospering hand from the conference. Shall the Ark of the Covenant be removed from this people? Shall idols be smuggled in? Shall false principles and false precepts be brought into the sanctuary? Shall antichrist be respected? Shall the true doctrines and principles given us by God, which have made us what we are, be ignored? Shall God’s instrumentality, the publishing house (or any Adventist institution), become a mere political, worldly institution? This is directly where the enemy, through blinded, unconsecrated men, is leading us” (Manuscript Release, Vol. 21, p. 448).

Jon says
The church that holds to the word of God is irreconcilably separated from Rome. Protestants were once thus apart from this great church of apostasy, but they have approached more nearly to her, and are still in the path of reconciliation to the Church of Rome. Rome never changes. Her principles have not altered in the least. She has not lessened the breach between herself and Protestants; they have done all the advancing. But what does this argue for the Protestantism of this day? It is the rejection of Bible truth which makes men approach to infidelity. It is a backsliding church that lessens the distance between itself and the Papacy. – ST February 19, 1894
It is souls like Luther, Cranmer, Ridley, Hooper, and the thousands of noble men who were martyrs for the truth’s sake, who are the true Protestants. They stood as faithful sentinels of truth, declaring that Protestantism is incapable of union with Romanism, but must be as far separated from the principles of the Papacy as is the east from the west. Such advocates of truth could no more harmonize with “the man of sin” than could Christ and his apostles. In earlier ages the righteous felt that it was impossible to affiliate with Rome, and, though their antagonism to this system of error was maintained at risk of property and life, yet they had courage to maintain their separation, and manfully struggled for the truth. Bible truth was dearer to them than wealth, honor, or even life itself. They could not endure to see the truth buried under a mass of superstition and lying sophistry. They took the word of God in their hands, and raised the standard of truth before the people, boldly declaring that which God had revealed unto them through diligent searching of the Bible. They died the cruelest of deaths for their fidelity to God, but by their blood they purchased for us liberties and privileges that many who claim to be Protestants are easily yielding up to the power of evil. But shall we yield up these dearly bought privileges? Shall we offer insult to the God of heaven, and, after he has freed us from the Romish yoke, again place ourselves in bondage to this antichristian power? Shall we prove our degeneracy by signing away our religious liberty, our right to worship God according to the dictates of our own conscience? – ST February 19, 1894

Things like this are happening because “present truth” messages don’t seem to be allowed in the mainstream churches run by The General Conference, the hard to hear messages that would bring many into God’s church are hidden away,
God’s precious end times warnings of Revelation 14 are not being heeded or preached therein, smooth things instead for itchy ears and the fear of finger pointing has lead to political correctness and whatever the world loves as being uplifted,
