On March 30, 2022, Religious News Service, an independent, nonprofit global news organization, reported on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to fill the vacancy on the US Supreme Court: They reported:
“Faith leaders stand in front of the U.S. Supreme Court and declare their support for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, March 30, 2022, in Washington. Leaders of a range of faiths stood before the Supreme Court and declared their support for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, the historic nominee for associate justice, to take a seat within its chambers. Those who stood before the high court’s steps on Wednesday represented the position of some 2,000 people who have signed a letter urging the Senate to “swiftly” confirm Jackson, whom President Joe Biden nominated in February. Jackson is the first Black woman to be considered for the high court.” [1]
What religious faiths did these spiritual leaders represent, and who were they? The following names were revealed by Religious News Service:
• Progressive National Baptist Convention
• Catholics for Choice
• Muslim Advocates,
• People for the American Way
• National Council of Jewish Women
• Washington’s Masjid Muhammad
• North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists [1]
Seventh-day Adventists from the North America Division are standing in solidarity with pro-abortion, LGBT+, and feminist rights organizations. Many of the above-mentioned organizations support homosexual marriage and ordination. And it is with this group that the church’s leadership wants to stand. We are supposed to be taking the light of the gospel to the world, not joining radical left-wing political campaigns pushing unbiblical views on feminism, abortion, and the LGBT+ agenda.
Mary Novak, executive director of Network Lobby for Catholic Social Justice, said during the event:
“As a former death penalty lawyer myself and as a Catholic, I can say from experience, we need her.” [1]
Rabbi David Saperstein, former U.S. ambassador-at-large for religious freedom, said during the rally:
“Here in this nation where its laws have given us more rights and freedoms and opportunities than we have ever known in Diaspora life, preserving those rights and freedoms in this high court reflects our most cherished values, hopes and dreams … Ketanji Brown Jackson is the embodiment of that America.” [1]
Orlan Johnson, director of public affairs and religious liberty for the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, gave the benediction for this event and prayed:
“I’m aware that there’s nobody here that has the power to handle the Senate like you … Help them to understand, God, that we do not have to put ourselves in a situation where just because we are different, we have to be divided. Just because we want to be partisan, that’s not the only way to be patriotic.” [1]
As a result, the North American Seventh-day Adventist Religious Liberty Department, which is funded by the Church, has opted to align itself with left-wing advocacy groups that promote immorality and ungodliness. What happened to the everlasting gospel of Christ and the Three Angels’ Messages? They are being replaced by a liberal social gospel that complies fully with the United Nations and other gobalist organizations.
You might recall the Senate confirmation hearings that took place recently. During the hearings, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson was questioned about her opinions on several topics. “When does life begin?” she was asked. Notice her answer:
SUPREME COURT:
Yesterday, Sen. John Kennedy asked: "When does life begin?"
Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson: "Senator, I don't know."
Kennedy: "Ma'am?"
Jackson: "I don't know. I have a belief… I have a religious view that I set aside when I'm ruling on cases." pic.twitter.com/OkeLF18jSj

If, as Judge Jackson claims, we don’t know when life begins, then that is precisely why we must be pro-life, since abortion would then be the murder of human life. If we don’t know when life begins, then why do we allow abortion? You can’t say that abortion in not murdering innocent lives if we don’t know when life begins. An honest person who is unsure when life begins would be opposed to abortion in order to prevent human life from being destroyed. You can’t have it both ways. You can’t say “I don’t know” on the question of life while saying “abortion is okay.” Despite this, we accept and defend abortion on the grounds that we don’t know when life begins.
Ketanji Brown Jackson was then asked to define the word “woman.” Notice her response:
Sen. Marsha Blackburn: "Can you provide a definition for the word woman?"
Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson: "I can't… I'm not a biologist."

In order to maintain their beliefs, those who must support the extreme leftist agenda must deceive themselves. She was asked a simple question, “What is a woman?” She was unable to respond. How can she be a woman’s rights advocate and represent women at the nation’s highest court if she has no idea what a woman is?
And why is the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church applauding the nomination of a woman who has no idea what a woman is? Unfortunately, this is merely the same illogical ranting of extreme revisionists who wish to alter the principles that God established when He created male and female at the beginning of the Book of Genesis. Adventists are endorsing a candidate who is unable to understand reality. Instead of truth and facts, Judge Jackson promotes propaganda.
The reality is that she does know what a woman is. Everyone knows. Because they have to support the extremist LGBT+ agenda, they won’t tell you. Because the LGBT+’s militant agenda is so dominant, no one wants to stand up for the truth, let alone counter their misinformation. When you stand up to the powerful LGBT lobby, there are consequences and ramifications.
The repercussions for resisting the homosexual agenda are far more dangerous than most people realize. Their radical policies will not stop until every Christian and conservative voice has been silenced. Sodom and Gomorrah’s modern-day headquarters is the United States. Our nation has done more than any other to promote the LGBT+ agenda on a worldwide basis. In reality, the United States has picked up the mantle left by Sodom.
…and SCOTUS nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, who was unable (or refused) to define a “woman”, will likely lead to more incursions on the rights of REAL women. For this alone she should be rejected! 👎👎 pic.twitter.com/8O4WmzG0LN

We need to sever our connections with these left-wing political movements that are pushing a godless propaganda. Our churches need to get back to our original mission. We need to be found in the highways and byways, bringing souls to Christ. The preaching of the gospel is the only way of turning people back to God. And the gospel of Christ is not the social gospel or the ecumenical gospel or the rainbow gospel or the evangelical gospel (new theology), but the everlasting gospel of Revelation 14:6-12.

Instead of standing with God’s people against the vaccine mandates, the religious liberty department stands with the world.

These so-called Christian representatives that are advocating for feminism, abortion, and the LGBT+ agenda have lost their way and are as blind as those they are advocating for. Clearly, Godliness and Morality is hanging by a thread.

It isn’t the so called Religious Right that we need to worry about. If anything, they will be joining the Adventist church when the Left finally leaves as Sunday laws come into vogue. It is the Religious Left that we have the most to worry about in taking away religious freedom. The Protestantism stretching her hand across to Rome is Leftist Protestantism. Protestantism of the Right has no desire to repudiate every principle of the Constitution as a Protestant and Republican government.

When is the NAD leadership that are publicly endorsing such worldly principles going to be censored? We have been counseled as a church to stay out of politics. Are we going to follow inspiration or follow the world? May God help us correct our course.

All these negative observations of commenters above _ about NAD may be correct, but NAD is advocating strict vegetarianism, that shall make up for all the “wine of Babylon” it is imbibing – which bro. Wilson is so generously pouring to them.

Amen!

The organizational structure will unlikely heed the call. They have gone too far to retract and they are part of ‘the system’ that is why the leadership can act in such an adamant way. {There is a very nice documentation of the history of apostacies that have been crreping in Kevin Straub’s book – Of the Times and Seasons- I have a copy.}
There is however, the conscientious few who follow the Lamb wherever He leadeth. May we be part of these who are sighing and crying 😭 for the abominations done not only in the NAD but in entire adventism. May we determine to make our calling and election sure.
May we be part o the people who are serious and want to delay no longer. Who are ready to answer “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” to His assurance that He comes quickly. Rev 22:20
Blessings

These are truly the last days. The Bible says are leaders will be led astray, but as Christians we know better. Continue to pray for our church and live your life as God intends us to by his word.
