“The chiefs of the EWARE I and EWARE II Indigenous Lands met from December 1 to 4, 2022 in Belém do Solimões to hold their II General Assembly. Leaders from 30 communities were present at the meeting, highlighting young people and women.” [3]
“The presence of different religious denominations was also highlighted, Catholic Church, Brotherhood of the Holy Cross, Assembly of God, Baptist Church, Adventist Church. They were gathered in a true dialogue, seeking to walk together in favor of the Full Life of peoples, especially of young people. Elements that were expressed in the moment of prayer, where in the Ticuna language, they picked up: ‘Wü’igü tchi i puracüẽgü, rü tataẽgü’, when we work together we are happy, my work is your work and our work is the work God’s!” [3]
“The Assembly was an opportunity to make decisions regarding 2023, thus seeking to organize courses and practical actions in favor of conservation of the forest, fish, indigenous poultry, açaí and fruit factory. Also in relation to the fight against the increase of garbage and alcoholism, and about the Indigenous Radio, among other issues.” [3]
The message that we are only happy when we are working together with Rome is unbiblical. It appears that the end of Protestantism is what is being celebrated at these ecumenical engagements. Our faith is openly under full-fledged attack from all sides, and we participate in these events and act like nothing is happening. We are being dragged into Rome’s interfaith sinkhole, and somehow we seem powerless to stop it.
The Rome-initiated climate agenda is operating as intended. The Vatican’s ecological branch in the Amazonian region, REPAM, is bringing the churches together and establishing the agenda. They are collaborating with churches from many backgrounds, including our own, to further their missions. In many regions of the world, this effort to bring the churches together for a common goal is exploding. Rome is advising the other churches to band together, cooperate, and work with them in order to overcome environmental, economic, and other societal concerns. Additionally, they forbid us from talking about doctrines, apostasy, or errors. Why would we agree to this?
Unlike what was said in this interfaith ecological conference, Rome’s work is not our work, and our work is not their work. It is clear that Rome has found the means to neutralize the distinctive message and calling that God has given to us. Preaching the Three Angels’ Messages to the world is our responsibility. But it appears that we are more eager to engage in other activities. Simply put, we are just too busy working with Rome. We simply don’t have the time to do the task that God has assigned to us.
If the church at all of its levels refuses to distance itself from Rome’s organizations like REPAM that are dedicated to advancing Laudato Si’, then why are we wasting our time being Seventh-day Adventists? Either God has called us out of every church to share a special message with the world, or He hasn’t. Or, will we only give lip service to the Three Angels’ Message while honoring Pope Francis’ vision as outlined in Laudato Si’? Will we make the Seventh-day Adventist movement resemble the World Council of Churches, the Laudato Si’ Movement, or some other organization devoted to addressing climate change? Or will we come out of these Babylonian organizations and call others to come out?
Whatever the reason, it appears that we no longer have any genuine convictions of our own. It seems that maintaining the appearance of preaching God’s final warning message is far more important than actually calling people out of Babylon and warning them against the mark of the beast. Are we going to obey the dictates of the world and only talk about the truth? Or are we going to obey God and actually proclaim His message to the world?
“We are living in the closing scenes of this earth’s history. Prophecy is fast fulfilling. The hours of probation are fast passing. We have no time—not a moment—to lose. Let us not be found sleeping on guard. Let no one say in his heart or by his works: ‘My Lord delayeth His coming.’ Let the message of Christ’s soon return sound forth in earnest words of warning. Let us persuade men and women everywhere to repent and flee from the wrath to come” (Testimonies, vol. 8, p. 252).
As the stage is being set and as the world’s religions unite, God’s people must stay true to Him and belong to the faithful group of believers described as the “remnant” (Revelation 12:17), who “keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” This “remnant” is sounding a warning to the multitudes of people who are blindly being led into the final apostasy of Christendom. God’s people will be admonishing the world not to “worship the beast and his image” (Revelation 14:9) and will call all men and women to “keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” (Revelation 14:12).
We must free ourselves from the clutches of the great apostasy. The modern ecumenical movement is the snare that Rome uses that will bring a resurgence of the first beast (Revelation 13:3, 4). Interfaith unity and cooperation will also lead to the unification and crystallization of the “image” of the beast (Revelation 13:14). And because these powers lack the biblical truth to back up their claims, they are turning to spiritualism and pantheism to give them an unholy influence and power in an attempt to legitimize their movement.
“The coming of Christ is nearer than when we first believed. The great controversy is nearing its end. The judgments of God are in the land … But there are many, many in our churches who know little of the real meaning of the truth for this time. I appeal to them not to disregard the fulfilling of the signs of the times, which says so plainly that the end is near” (Testimonies, vol. 8, p. 252).

The general conference leaders are falling to the evil side. They know the difference between good and evil. Their hearts are becoming cover with darkness. They need to find Jesus!
We all need to be praying that their eyes will be opened.

It’s even worse than I had thought. This is OPEN REBELLION.
And again I must ask: who and what is the church? I’m starting to wonder out loud whether the final work will be done by little groups of faithful remnant people while “the church” (much like the sleepy virgins) finally wakes up, but it’s too late: Jesus will tell them “I never knew thee”.
Also, and I REALLY see this a lot in both the world and the churches (and yes, the Adventist church): the “sin and live” theology.
Once you buy into the “sin and live” theology, there’s nothing you won’t do, there’s no church you won’t grasp hands with because basically at that point, you ALL believe the sin and live theology.
Here’s what’s interesting: even the non-Adventist churches out there that are preaching AGAINST the “prosperity gospel” (these are folks speaking out against the Benny Hinns, the Kenneth Copeland’s and such) are STILL guilty of believing and practicing “sin and live”. Why? Because when you back them up against the wall, they will preach AGAINST the 7th day Sabbath. They will go through all KINDS of mental gymnastics to get out of keeping God’s holy Sabbath day. They’ll either try to say that God’s law cannot be kept, or they’ll try to relegate the 4th commandment as “ceremonial” or any host of other unbiblical but “pleasant sounding” doctrines. It’s sick. We are a sin-sick world. It’s time to get rid of every idol. It’s time to obey ALL of God’s commands.
I almost cringe as I come here daily to see what new abomination the “church” has glommed onto. I know there is huge controversy over whether “the church will go through”. Well…again: who and what EXACTLY is “the church”. It’s an interesting question.
One way I’ve often thought of to help me see this is if a Roman Catholic was walking down the sidewalk and came upon Luther and the Roman Catholic calls out to Luther: “brother Luther, why did you leave the church?” Luther responds: “who really left the church?”. It’s not the buildings folks. It’s not the hierarchical structure. It’s God’s people who follow Him faithfully.
So…either we will witness a huge revival WITHIN the Adventist church (and I’m doubtful at this point), OR we will see little pockets of God’s remnant people (who are the ACTUAL church) have their own revival and they will finish the work.
Interesting times.

Kevin,
Please consider the following quote from Sister White –
“In the Scriptures are presented truths that relate especially to our own time. To the period just prior to the appearing of the Son of man, the prophecies of Scripture point, and here their warnings and threatenings pre-eminently apply. The prophetic periods of Daniel, extending to the very eve of the great consummation, throw a flood of light upon events then to transpire. The book of Revelation is also replete with warning and instruction for the last generation. The beloved John, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, portrays the fearful and thrilling scenes connected with the close of earth’s history, and presents the duties and dangers of God’s people. None need remain in ignorance, none need be unprepared for the coming of the day of God.” RH September 25, 1883, par. 6
There are so many incredibly important points in this paragraph that we could unpack, but alas, I fear we would overload Adventmessenger.com’s servers… so just consider the statement “To the period just prior to the appearing of the Son of man, the prophecies of Scripture point, and here their warnings and threatenings pre-eminently apply.” Contextually, she was referring to the time period just prior to the 2nd appearing of the Son of man… a.k.a. the last days. She used the word “pre-eminently,” thus indicating that the fulfilment of prophecy has its principle, primary, most important, greatest application, highest significance, etc. to the last days just before Christ returns. This means that not only the books of Daniel and Revelation have their most significant application now (which is a mouthful to swallow for we SDA’s since we have been well trained with much repetition to believe that prophecy can only be understood from a historical perspective and thus, everything from Daniel and Rev 1-13:12 has historically been fulfilled), but also all the other prophetic books found in Scripture. So far, we have merely taken what she wrote at face value and restated it.
Next, please consider that God has always, and will always have a people, or a church upon the earth.
“God has a church upon the earth, who are his chosen people, who keep his commandments.” RH September 12, 1893, par. 19
“God has ever preserved a remnant to serve Him.” PP 125.1
In the time of the patriarchs, it was Adom, Seth, Enoch, Noah… those who were obedient to Him. In the time following the exodus from Egypt, it was the Children of Israel and God reminded them what their responsibility was as his people from the mount. After the apostacy of the ten tribes, it was the Judeans, or Jews for short, whose capital was Jerusalem (note that throughout the prophecies of scripture Jerusalem many times identifies God’s people and is not merely a reference to the capital city). In the time just before the end, it is the Seventh-day Adventist people who follow after God our Father and seek to serve Him by obeying his all of his instruction as presented in Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy. In between these groups, there has always been an unbroken chain of people who were faithful, but for the sake of Adventmessenger.com’s servers have been omitted. Hopefully, there is nothing of a startling nature to this point: God has always had a people.
Now let us combine these two points – The prophecies in scripture have their most important application to God’s people living in these last days called Seventh-day Adventists. When the prophecies were written, the phrase Seventh-day Adventist didn’t exist, but the concept certainly did:
Christ was a Seventh-day Adventist, to all intents and purposes. 16LtMs, Lt 51, 1901, par. 2
The prophets were instructed to write a message to God’s people by God Himself. The message was absolutely inspired, even in its wording, so that even though the prophet wrote it to the then present people of God (i.e. Jerusalem), and it had absolute application at that time in history, it would have it’s pre-eminent (more significant) application to the people of God living on the earth just prior to the appearing of the Son of man in the clouds.
With these points in mind, now consider the prophetic books of Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Hosea, etc. We will focus on Jeremiah. What did the prophet write by God’s inspiration, under the name of Jerusalem or Judah that we can now simply replace those names with Seventh-day Adventist? Oh! my brother, it is not a good thing. It reveals the answer to the question in your mind about what is to become of our beloved denomiNATION. It pains me to quote the following verse in the context of prophetic application:
Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
The Lord has foreseen what is to be become of our once fair denomination and has left the outcome in plain sight for us to see under the story of the fall of Jerusalem. What was the cause of her fall, which reveals to us the cause of the fall of the SDA denomination? First and foremost, it was serving other god’s, which then led them to commit every other abomination under the sun just as the heathen surrounding them. In like manner, the SDA denomination has forsaken the God of our fathers, the one God of Scripture, and has taken up the God of the surrounding nations. By separating ourselves from the Source of truth, righteousness and goodness, we have joined up with the rest of the “Christian” world to commit whoredoms (God says it, not me). He even tells us that we are drunk with their wine in chapter 13. Compare this with Ezekiel chapter 23 which says exactly the same thing. Why does Ezekiel write the same warning, as he sits exiled in Babylon? Because it applies to us just the same as in Jeremiah. It’s incredible how in Jeremiah 1, God even tells us how this state of things comes pass.
Jeremiah 1:14-16 Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north [this is a reference to Babylon, which symbolizes a confused religious system which is a mixture of truth and error] an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land [not a single one of us is excluded from the effects of this evil]. (15) For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne [a throne is symbolic of the power to rule, or in other words, leadership] at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem [the gates of Jerusalem represent the Seventh-day Adventist school system which serves as the training ground for the next generation of leaders – it is the gateway to the very heart of the denomination], and against all the walls thereof round about [the walls represent our pure doctrinal truths that we once had, but which at this time have been broken down – not the least of which includes the very god that we serve… little ‘g’ was not a typo], and against all the cities of Judah [all the cities represents the ministries and sister organizations of the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. Literally, the denomination is surrounded and infiltrated at the same time according to the prophecy]. (16) And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness [judgments against wickedness denotes that there is a reconning coming to an apostate denomination just as occurred with Jerusalem], who have forsaken me [Here is the first statement in the book of Jeremiah revealing why God’s judgment must fall upon the Seventh-day Adventist denomination, but it is repeated times without number], and have burned incense unto other gods [Here is proof from God’s own mouth that Fundamental Belief #2 which identifies the trinity god of Seventh-day Adventism is not the God who is speaking], and worshipped the works of their own hands [I believe that this is a reference to the bloated and apostate institutions which have been developed under the church umbrella, such as AdventHealth, but it could apply to much more].
If God says that the Babylonian system infiltrates our schools (as the gateway of our denomination), then it seems as though we have a (WARNING: you’re about to read a dirty word) conspiracy on our hands. Well, God is good enough to make it clear that that is exactly what has happened, but notice in the following verses that the conspiracy is not only in our schools…
Jeremiah 11:9-10 And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. (10) They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.
The men of Judah represents those who have the responsibility of spiritual leadership. This runs from the President of the GC to the local church pastor, even to the individual man who is responsible for the spirituality of his household. The concept of a conspiracy within our denomination is found repeatedly throughout the book –Jeremiah 11:19 and Jeremiah 12:6-7 reveal a persecuting character which is manifest toward them who call out the apostacy and the conspiracy and is in itself a revelation of a conspiracy at work.
What is to be the result of all this? Is it a great revival of true sincerity and righteousness within the Seventh-day Adventist ranks? The prophecy is vividly clear in bone chilling terms that a revival is not in the denomination’s future, but rather a further corporate hardening in apostacy which leads to their utter destruction. So thoroughly do the SDA people plant themselves in apostacy (as directed by the leadership), that they are not even ashamed (Jer 8:12). As Jeremiah strives to call the denomination to reform, the Lord tells him:
“Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me; for I will not hear thee.” Jeremiah 7:16.
This fearful declaration is repeated by God at least twice more in the book in 11:14 and 14:11-12. Examples of where God says he will destroy the denomination are too numerous to even try to list. Just read for sixty seconds and you’ll find an example or ten. To be clear, the destruction that God has proclaimed upon the SDA denomination is not a destruction upon every person, but upon the corporate system, the institution which has today copy-righted its name as Seventh-day Adventist. Individual persons can make a choice if they will go down with the denomination into Babylonian captivity, or whether like Jeremiah, Baruch, Ebed-Melek and a very small remnant of the people, will be spared, which at this point in history means salvation. There are no more second chances… time’s up.
I believe that the main take-away from this treatise is that unless we individually heed the warning from God to the Seventh-day Adventist denomination through Jeremiah, and return to worship and serve (obey) Him rather than the false trinity god institutionalized in the SDA corporation, then we are doomed to partake of the destruction promised to this apostate church. Many, like you, are seeing the evidence that the SDA denomination can no longer be identified corporately as the people of God. The fruits of the leadership and the overall organization betray it to be in the service of the great enemy of God and humanity. These fruits are the natural outcome of serving a false God. What we must individually do is wake up from our slumbers and the dreams of a world-wide last day SDA denomination making a great stand for the right. If we refuse to pick our heads up from off our spiritual pillows so that we can cling to that dream a little longer, we will perish to the words of the lullaby “Peace, peace; when there is no peace.” Jeremiah 6:14.
May you be blessed by our God and Father as you consider the prophecies of scripture in their pre-eminent application and may we all receive the needed spiritual eye-salve so that we may see the root cause of our condition and then take decided steps to return to God and to worship Him as he desires.
John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

God does not work this way.

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.” 2 Cor. 6:14-17.
