Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is an American evangelical media empire that operates a number of TV channels and radio stations and disseminates conservative Christian theology and viewpoints on politics and other social issues. CBN is influential, particularly within conservative Christian circles in the United States, and reaches millions of viewers through its online content and media channels.
On February 18, 2024, CBN, the organization behind the 700 Club, published a devotional that emphasized the need to counter the “American mentality of rush, stress, and busyness” by entering into the Sunday rest. Additionally, it falsely claims that God has given us instructions to observe this day as the day of worship and rest.
CBN published the following:
• “Some people fall into the American mentality of rush, stress, and busyness—relying on their hard work rather than balancing work with rest and refreshment. But God’s Word is very clear about the importance of rest. It’s established at creation and reinforced throughout the Old and New Testaments. Following God’s sacred call to rest demonstrates our trust in Him and involves Him in our life and work.” [1]
• “Prayer and worship can provide rest for our minds and emotions … The beauty of song, worship, dance, drama, art, or just basking in the nature God created revives our creativity. And, of course, more than anything else, time spent with God nourishes and fuels our spirit. [1]
• “While God initially gives His instruction for Sabbath in the time of Moses, we see a beautiful breakdown of the purpose of Sabbath in Isaiah 58:13-14: ‘Keep the Sabbath day holy. Don’t pursue your own interests on that day, but enjoy the Sabbath and speak of it with delight as the Lord’s holy day. Honor the Sabbath in everything you do on that day, and don’t follow your own desires or talk idly. Then the Lord will be your delight. I will give you great honor and satisfy you with the inheritance I promised to your ancestor Jacob. I, the Lord, have spoken’!” [1]
• “Rather than just go to church on Sunday, let’s strive to truly enter into that Sabbath rest. Make it a day to focus upon and delight in the Lord in all we do.” [1]
It truly is remarkable how CBN and other Christians can take Biblical passages (Isaiah 58) that speak about the restoration of the true seventh-day Sabbath found in God’s law and apply them to Sunday. They fail to highlight Isaiah 58:12, which talks about the “breach” and the restoration of God’s original day of rest, which has been destroyed for centuries by the “little horn” (Daniel 7:25). They only read Isaiah 58:13–14, which emphasizes the importance of observing the Sabbath, but ignore that this day must be restored from Sunday to Saturday.
“And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” Isaiah 58:12.
When you take something out of context and selectively quote only part of the information, such as the prophetic passages from God’s word, you end up distorting the original intention. This leads to a misrepresentation of the message. When done deliberately, it becomes a tactic to deceive people. According to Matthew 24:11–24, false prophets will attempt to deceive and manipulate people in the last days. Today, we are witnessing a global push by numerous groups to advance the Sunday Sabbath, a false, discredited day of rest. Whether we like to admit it or not, Protestants are assisting Rome in advancing its goals and preparing people for the mark of the beast.
“The prophet here refers to the breach made in the law of God, by the breaking down of the Sabbath of the fourth commandment. This precept has been made waste by the man of sin; and the professed Christian world has accepted a day which he has substituted for the sanctified Sabbath of the Lord. Shall we be of the number who are repairing the breach made in the law of God? or shall we be of the number who receive the mark of the beast, by observing the human institution rather than the divine, thus nourishing the child of papacy?” (Signs of the Times, February 28, 1878).

How Until the Churches begin to lobby President Biden and Congress for Sunday Worship as defined below?
Royal edicts, general councils, and church ordinances sustained by secular power, were the steps by which the pagan
festival attained its position of honor in the Christian world. The first public measure enforcing Sunday observance was the law
enacted by Constantine. This edict required townspeople to rest on “the venerable day of the sun,” but permitted countrymen
to continue their agricultural pursuits. Though virtually a heathen statute, it was enforced by the emperor after his nominal
acceptance of Christianity.
The royal mandate not proving a sufficient substitute for divine authority, Eusebius, a bishop who sought the favor of princes,
and who was the special friend and flatterer of Constantine, advanced the claim that Christ had transferred the Sabbath to
Sunday. Not a single testimony of the Scriptures was produced in proof of the new doctrine. Eusebius himself unwittingly
acknowledges its falsity, and points to the real authors of the change. “All things,” he says, “whatever that it was duty to do on
the Sabbath, these we have transferred to the Lord’s day.”But the Sunday argument, groundless as it was, served to embolden
men in trampling upon the Sabbath of the Lord. All who desired to be honored by the world accepted the popular festival.

In My opinion it cannot be far off, as my spirit senses that something very important is going to happen in Heaven and on Earth very soon. Perhaps Passover this year? Which is near April 8, when the Solar Eclipse passes over the Seven Cities named Nineveh in the U.S.A.
