“There is grave danger that the precious Adventist message will not be passed on to the next generation” (Adventist Review, March 7, 1991, p. 23, ‘San Diego Covenant’).
Throughout Holy Week, the Dominican Republic’s state television and radio will broadcast “Live the Passion” events from all over the country. On channels 4 and 17, as well as Dominican FM, Quisqueya FM, and Radio Santo, special music, concerts, religious events, religious films, interviews, and other activities will be broadcast nationwide.
The Holy Week religious production will come to a close on Easter Sunday morning with a special Easter ecumenical musical program called “Thanks to Him” to commemorate Christ’s resurrection. Singers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Roman Catholic Church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and other Christian churches will take part in the musical celebration on Sunday morning. Daily Digital reported the following:
“Likewise, channel 4 will present the Easter musical ‘Thanks to Him’ on Sunday the 17th. It is an initiative of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to unite Christian voices from different congregations. ‘Thanks to Him,’ made up of 15 musicals, brings together singers, musicians and choirs, including the choral group of the Mother and Teacher Pontifical Catholic University, the Ahias Adventist quintet, the Christian singer Keren Montero and the Cantum group, directed by Ángel Herdz. [1]
As a result, Seventh-day Adventists are now participating in ecumenical Easter Sunday morning services. Thanks to ecumenism, we can now celebrate Easter Sunday, the Holy Eucharist, bow to golden idols, sing Latin mass songs, build bridges to Rome, and embrace the entire green eco-religious idolatry. This is what happens when we listen to misguided leaders who are substituting the fundamental teachings of God’s word for man-made theories and traditions.
If we read our Bibles carefully, we will see that we are commanded to commemorate Christ’s death through baptism and His resurrection by living a new life of freedom and purity. This is referred to as the “new birth.”
“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4.
We honor Christ’s resurrection when we have been crucified and when Christ lives within us—not by venerating the sun as it rises in the east on Sunday morning. We honor Christ’s resurrection by applying God’s word to our lives—not man-made traditions. We honor Christ’s resurrection when we preach His gospel to the world, including the “commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12).
Instead of joining with them in exalting Sunday, why aren’t we communicating God’s final warning message of Revelation 14:6-12 and His true Sabbath, Saturday, to the religious communities that are trampling on God’s moral law? When will we begin to carry out the following divine mandate?
“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” Isaiah 58:1.
“If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words” Isaiah 58:13.:
“Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” Isaiah 58:14.

Sad, sad, sad. We will see more and more of this as time goes on. Matthew 7:13-14 KJV
[13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This is not why God chose us to be a people. We have a message that has to be spread throughout the globe, the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

We need to come out and call others out of this, not join them.

None of this makes sense. What happened to our unique identity? It is being lost.

I do believe that it has been lost for years now.

These Easter celebrations are happening everywhere. Who is going to stop this? No one I’m afraid.

We are in the world, not part of it.

On this day, Sunday is exalted. We must raise the banner of Christ, on which God’s commandments are enshrined.

Thanks for the updates. We need to be praying for God’s people.
