Sunday rest has become the go-to answer to all of society’s ills. Labor shortages have been a real problem since the pandemic, the Russian-Ukraine war, supply shortages, the high cost of fuel, and the high demand for supplies. These developments have undoubtedly resulted in an unparalleled labor shortage for companies. So, what is the answer? Rest on Sunday. Unfortunately, the entire world is looking for Sunday to save them.
FedEx is an international shipping conglomerate. And they have found a solution to their labor shortages. They will have to stop making deliveries on Sundays in rural America, nationwide. Starting August 15, 2022, FedEx will stop delivering on Sunday in rural markets across the country. [1]
Sunday is gradually becoming the universal day of rest preferred by the majority of people. It is the day that Pope Francis, the Christian world, trade unions, secular governments, and business have designated. The world is attempting to shorten its work week to adjust to a new economy. Soon it will be imposed by law. Soon we will be forced to rest on Sunday.
Across the world, new measures are being passed as we speak that will compel all men and women to close everything down on the first day of the week, even though God’s commandments say “the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God” (Exodus 20:10). Those aware of the long history of Sunday laws, starting in 321 A.D., know that these movements happening today are bringing us one step closer toward enforcing Rome’s religion.
“False religion will be exalted. The first day of the week, a common working day, possessing no sanctity whatever, will be set up as was the image at Babylon. All nations and tongues and peoples will be commanded to worship this spurious Sabbath [Sunday]. This is Satan’s plan to make of no account the day instituted by God, and given to the world as a memorial of creation.” (Bible Commentary, Vol. 7 p. 976).

The world thinks that a day (Sunday) will save them. They will find out too late that only a relationship with Jesus Christ will save them. We as Adventists know this better than anyone. We keep the Sabbath holy because we are so thankful that we are saved, and we want to obey Christ because of that. The world does not understand the reasoning behind the 4th commandment.
It is also more convenient to keep Sunday instead of the true Sabbath. The catholic church and its Jesuits have done a great job in getting people to keep Sunday. They don’t even have to push the narrative that they keep Sunday because of the resurrection any more! Once the world finds out how they have been duped, it will be too late!

What is going to happen when the next major event hits America? Everything will get shut down on Sunday.
