Without a doubt, Project 2025 is coming to Europe. The policy agenda spearheaded by the Heritage Foundation and other conservative groups has gained remarkable traction in the United States following Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory, accelerating its influence at an unprecedented pace. With many of its architects now holding key positions in Trump’s second administration, Project 2025 proposals have swiftly moved from blueprint to action, with a third of its agenda already enacted through Trump’s 100 executive orders and 400 executive actions. [1]
However, the rapid advancement of Project 2025 is not just confined to the United States. The initiative’s proponents are turning their eyes toward Europe, seeking to export its vision on the entire continent. European actors, in conjunction with their Project 2025 partners in America, are working to inspire similar political and religious upheavals across the continent, challenging progressive social norms and working to reshape the European nations into an image of their Christian conservative views.
On March 14, 2025, DeSmog, an international news organization that advocates for climate science and action, published an article titled “Heritage Foundation and Allies Discuss Dismantling the EU” and revealed the inroads that Project 2025 is already making in Europe:
• “The group behind the radical Project 2025 agenda is increasingly turning its attention to Europe.” [2]
• “The group that drafted a key blueprint for Donald Trump’s second term convened a meeting in Washington, D.C., this week to consider proposals for bulldozing the European Union (EU).” [2]
• “DeSmog can also reveal that the Heritage Foundation has been holding private meetings with European politicians in recent months as the group attempts to forge new alliances on the continent.” [2]
• “Speaking at a side event during the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) conference in London on 17 February, Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts appeared to hint at the group’s new European focus—calling for closer collaboration between national-conservative politicians across the Western world.” [2]
• “Roberts added that the Heritage Foundation would support “our friends from Europe” to “reclaim” their institutions.” [2]
• “This is all about reclaiming sovereignty, reclaiming the spirit, the sovereignty of each of our nation states,” he said. “And so I can speak for a lot of Americans here and certainly all of us from the Heritage Foundation. We’ve drawn a line in the sand, and we’re ready to lead the world again.” [2]
The proponents of Project 2025 show no signs of relenting. They are driven by a prophetic mission in which an apostate Christian ideology—one that combines faith with authoritarian control—will seek to dominate every aspect of our lives. This relentless pursuit will culminate in the establishment of religious tyranny, extending its reach beyond the United States to the entire world, thus fulfilling words of prophecy that describe the spiritual and political subjugation of the world that Ellen G. White predicted more than a century ago.
“The agencies of evil are combining their forces and consolidating. They are strengthening for the last great crisis. Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones. The condition of things in the world shows that troublous times are right upon us. The daily papers are full of indications of a terrible conflict in the near future” (Testimonies, Vol. 9, p. 11).
“The work which the church has failed to do in a time of peace and prosperity she will have to do in a terrible crisis under the most discouraging, forbidding circumstances. The warnings that worldly conformity has silenced or withheld must be given under the fiercest opposition from enemies of the faith” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 463).
