On February 4, 2023, the Scottish Sun reported that rock bands Primal Scream, The Pretenders, and Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty would respect the tradition of keeping Sunday as the Sabbath during their scheduled performance in May of this year. The Midnight Sun Weekender Music Festival will run from Thursday, May 25, to Saturday, May 27, in order to honor the church tradition of resting on Sunday.
Since when have rock bands been known to follow cultural traditions? Rock music is often seen as rebellious because the genre was born out of a desire to break away from the status quo and challenge established norms and values. The words “rock and roll” are associated with sex and reflect the countercultural movements that rejected the values of previous generations. So rock bands have always expressed views that were not always well-received by the mainstream because they challenged social norms. However, when it comes to Sunday rest, the rebellious nature of the rock stars disappears, and they humbly submit to the mark of papal apostasy—Sunday.

“Primal Scream, founded by Scots rocker Bobby Gillespie, 61, are to headline the first Midnight Sun Weekender on picturesque castle grounds in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. They will be joined by The Pretenders and legendary Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty, 77, who’ll close the other nights of the three-day bash.” [1]
“The fest runs from Thursday, May 25 to Saturday, May 27, in order to respect the residents’ custom of keeping the Sabbath clear — as shops shut, buses don’t run and it’s even frowned upon to hang out a washing. Co-founder Charlie Clark, 43, who grew up locally, says its important to recognise tradition. He told The Scottish Sun on Sunday: ‘We’ve carefully chosen the days for exactly that reason’.” [1]
“It’s something I always loved when I was wee (young).” There’s a lot to be said about taking the time to do nothing. There was always a unique atmosphere and energy on a Sunday — it’s restorative.” Around 8,000 revellers are expected each day at the party under a big top at Lews Castle. It will be the biggest event of its kind in the Western Isles. [1]
So even though rock bands may look and sound rebellious, when it comes to Sunday, they become pacifists and submissive. According to the Bible, everyone will wonder after the beast and worship its image. This implies that all sectors of society, including the music industry, will submit to the chief rebel and top opponent of Jesus Christ, the Antichrist power that originally changed the law of God in the first place. It is remarkable that people in society would prefer to trample upon the true Sabbath of the Lord and embrace the counterfeit Sabbath, Sunday, a man-made tradition.

That Sabbath which God declares is the sign and seal of the loyalty of His people, by which they are to know Him as the only true God, the maker of heaven and earth, the day He has sanctified and blessed, is made the busiest day of the week. Through successive steps he has led men to regard Sunday, first as a holiday which all must observe, and then as God’s holy day. But God no more accepts this false sabbath than He accepted the strange fire offered by Nadab and Abihu” (Letter 100, 1895).

This is so comical. A ROCK BAND observing Sunday sacredness??? I would call that an oxymoron. People are so blind to the truth. Thousands of people will flock to these rock concerts, and then go to church on Sunday to get absolution. (LOL) That is kind of like Joe Biden having an open Southern Border, letting in all kinds of law breakers, and then going to church on Sunday to get absolution from all his sins he committed during the week. So very sad……….
It is well know through interviews of entertainment people that there is a power they are given to do what they do. They know who they serve and they are being told get in line now on this. It is to me a clear another clear sign the final conflict is just to be about decided.
