The Christian religion is changing as biblical faith is replaced with a single universal religion. There must be a common concern that binds us together. The world’s religions must prioritize one issue over all others. There must be a single universal creed that the entire religious spectrum can enthusiastically support. Yes, a new religion has emerged, and it is based on the hysteria surrounding climate change. The Pope is combining faith and ecology, resulting in a new religion that is driving millions away from the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
On June 27, 2024, Catholic News Agency published the remarks made by Pope Francis ahead of the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. He said that this was a time for Christians to “bear witness to their faith,” mobilizing them to take action to care for the environment. Francis spoke of conversion, peace, the Holy Spirit, theology, the resurrection of Christ, holiness, and forgiveness of sins and applied these redemptive themes to the environment.
The Pope expressed the following:
• “Pope Francis this week called on the faithful to a conversion of heart that extends Christian charity to all of God’s creation and urged them to commit themselves to protecting the environment.” [1]
• “Francis said; the spirit of “universal fraternity and Christian peace,” he argued, “should also be extended to creation.” [1]
• “The Holy Spirit “guides us and calls us to conversion,” Francis said, “to a change in lifestyle in order to resist the degradation of our environment.” [1]
• “Care for creation, the pope said, is not merely an ethical issue but a theological one, one that is marked by the “act of love” in which God created human beings.” [1]
• “To hope and act with creation, then, means to live an incarnational faith, one that can enter into the suffering and hope-filled ‘flesh’ of others, by sharing in the expectation of the bodily resurrection to which believers are predestined in Christ the Lord,’ the pope said.” [1]
• “By living out this imperative, ‘our lives can become a song of love for God, for humanity, with and for creation, and find their fullness in holiness,’ he wrote. [1]
• “The pope said … to thank God for the wonderful handiwork which he has entrusted to our care, and to implore his help for the protection of creation as well as his pardon for the sins committed against the world in which we live.” [1]
This was a call to all people, including political and religious leaders, to work together and build a more peaceful world that seeks to protect our common home and human fraternity. At the same time, it is a call to abandon God’s truth completely. Their new fight is not against sin but against the “degradation of our environment.”
Ecology has replaced theology. At present, this message is transforming churches. In its quest to create the ideal sustainable environment, the modern church has rejected biblical truth in favor of a green earth spirituality. Indeed, the climate change movement has emerged as the new great struggle for redemption.
The flock is being betrayed by misguided shepherds. Those of us who, by God’s grace, can see what is happening must make every effort to help those who cannot see how their faith is under attack. The only safe path for us today, and the only antidote to everything we see, is to adhere to the unchanging truths of our historic faith, as revealed in God’s word. The Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14:6–12 provide a clear summary of these truths. This is the present truth and God’s final warning to the world. If we take the time to listen to God’s voice and share His message, we will have faith that He will guide us through this period of universal apostasy.
