Pope Francis met with the Jesuits from the “Russian Region” on September 15, 2022, in Kazakhstan. He said of this encounter that “these meetings with the Jesuits are now a habit during my travels.” The Pope also told the Jesuits during this gathering that we are “experiencing World War III.” The Pope expressed the following:

“There’s a war going on and I think it’s a mistake to think it’s a cowboy movie where there are good and bad. And it is also a mistake to think that this is a war between Russia and Ukraine and that’s it. No: this is a world war.” [1]

“There are international factors that have contributed to causing the war. I have already mentioned that a head of state, in December last year, came to tell me that he was very worried because NATO had gone barking at the gates of Russia without understanding that the Russians are imperial and fear insecurity at the borders. He expressed fear that this would provoke a war, and it broke out two months later. Therefore, one cannot be simplistic in reasoning about the causes of the conflict.” [1]

“I do not doubt, however, that we are already experiencing the Third World War. In a century we have seen three: one between 1914 and 1918, one between 1939 and 1945, and now we live this.” [1]

There you have it, coming straight from the Jesuits. Russia and Ukraine are not at the center of the current conflict. “International factors” are aggravating the current crisis, which means that it won’t end soon and will only get worse. After all is said and done, this severe global crisis will continue to have an effect on the economies of the world, the lives of billions of people, and will ultimately lead to the mark of the beast, thanks to Pope Francis and his Jesuits.

We have never been closer to another “world war” than we are right now. We believe this not because the Jesuits are telling us so, but because God’s word predicts that these events will occur on earth just before Jesus returns. Even though the experts claim that the current Russia-Ukraine conflict is over fundamentally opposed ideologies, competition for territory, natural resources, historical rivalries, security, wealth, and nationalism, God’s word reveals that the problem is deeper still. The rejection of God’s moral law is the cause of widespread violence and wars:

“Anarchy is seeking to sweep away all law, not only divine, but human. The centralizing of wealth and power; the vast combinations for the enriching of the few at the expense of the many; the combinations of the poorer classes for the defense of their interests and claims…the world-wide dissemination of the same teachings that led to the French Revolution—all are tending to involve the whole world in a struggle similar to that which convulsed France” (Maranatha 146).

“Those who teach the people to regard lightly the commandments of God sow disobedience to reap disobedience. Let the restraint imposed by the divine law be wholly cast aside, and human laws would soon be disregarded. Because God forbids dishonest practices, coveting, lying, and defrauding, men are ready to trample upon His statutes as a hindrance to their worldly prosperity; but the results of banishing these precepts would be such as they do not anticipate … The civilized world would become a horde of robbers and assassins; and peace, rest, and happiness would be banished from the earth.” (Great Controversy, 585).

God’s Ten Commandment moral law is an immutable standard designed to restrain men and women from indulging in violence, debauchery, immorality, and other destructive conduct. This moral code is being rejected while sin is being promoted by politicians. The cause for all the broken homes and all the civil unrest is due to the fact that we no longer believe in God’s standard of truth and morality. We believe that truth is relative and there is no right or wrong.

This moral decay is predicted in prophecy and is at the heart of the messages found in the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14:6–12. This truth must be given with a loud voice at this very moment to the entire world. War and anarchy, the likes of which we have never seen before, will soon engulf the streets of our country and the rest of the world if this message doesn’t get through to the hearts and minds of our people.

“The angel of mercy is about to take her flight, never to return. The people of God will then be plunged into those scenes of affliction and distress which prophets have described as the time of Jacob’s trouble” (Maranatha, p. 199).

“We are standing on the threshold of the crisis of the ages. In quick succession the judgments of God will follow one another—fire, and flood, and earthquake, with war and bloodshed” (Maranatha, p. 67).

“The Lord will arise to shake terribly the earth. We shall see troubles on all sides. Thousands of ships will be hurled into the depths of the sea. Navies will go down, and human lives will be sacrificed by millions. Fires will break out unexpectedly and no human effort will be able to quench them. The palaces of earth will be swept away in the fury of the flames. Disasters by rail will become more and more frequent. Confusion, collision, and death without a moment’s warning will occur on the great lines of travel. The end is near, probation is closing. Oh, let us seek God while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near!” (Messages to Young People, pp. 89, 90).
