Pope Francis is heading to Kazakhstan to meet with politicians and spiritual leaders from around the world. According to a new report from Adnkronos, and Italian news agency, Pope Francis will meet with representatives of Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, Shinto, political figures, representatives of international organizations, and other experts during a Global Congress of Religion. The aim of this Congress is to build a bridge that will unite cultures and faith groups on a “global level.” Adnkronos reported the following:
“By hosting the long-awaited Congress of Religious Leaders, Kazakhstan ‘hopes to contribute to the construction of a bridge that brings cultures and civilizations together on a global level,’ Aigul Kuspan, chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Kazakh Parliament, explains to Adnkronos.” [1]
“In fact, more than 100 delegations from 60 countries are expected in Nur Sultan, including representatives of Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Shinto, Buddhism and, again, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism and other religions. In addition to Pope Francis, the Grand Imam of al-Azhar, Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed El-Tayeb, Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem and delegations of important religious and international organizations from the United States, Europe and Asia are scheduled to attend the Congress.” [1]
Kazakhstan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Roman Vassilenko, said in an interview with Adnkronos that the Muslim nation welcomes Pope Francis, as they look to him to “raise the spirit” of the nation. Roman Vassilenko, speaking in behalf of Kazakhstan, said the following:
“Your visit raises the spirit of our Nation, great work for Congress’ religious leaders.” [1]
“It is a great honor for Kazakhstan to welcome Pope Francis to our country. His positive influence on the world cannot be minimized.” [1]
“I can tell you with certainty that the people of Kazakhstan, regardless of religion, are looking forward to the Pope’s visit,’ remarked the deputy foreign minister, according to whom the event of this year will be the largest ever since the Congress was established in 2003.” [1]
Pope Francis is on an interfaith mission as he continues his tour throughout the world. As part of the agenda, his visit to Kazakhstan is to continue bridging the gap between Rome and all the other religions. For decades, the Vatican has been trying to create a geopolitical and religious alliance with all the various segments of society throughout the world. The Second Vatican Council established a decree called “Nostra Aetate” (Our Age) in an effort to come into unity with all the non-Christian religions. The same Second Vatican Council also called for “Unitatis Redintegratio” (the Decree on Ecumenism), which aims to restore all the Christian churches into one body.
The dream is now finally becoming a reality. Rome’s influence is evident in this situation because political Muslim leaders in Kazakhstan openly declare their devotion for Pope Francis. This will result in the development of global initiatives to advance respect, understanding and unity among all religions. In fact, this was foretold to us in inspiration:
“Satan determines to unite them in one body and thus strengthen his cause by sweeping all into the ranks of spiritualism … Papists, Protestants, and worldlings will alike accept the form of godliness without the power, and they will see in this union a grand movement for the conversion of the world and the ushering in of the long-expected millennium” (Great Controversy, p. 588).
This is exactly what is happening. The world is coming together as one. All the religious and political leaders are giving their support and power to the beast of Bible prophecy. Kazakhstan, another Muslim nation, will be receiving Pope Francis when he arrives. Pope Francis will be meeting state and faith leaders to promote his message of solidarity through ecumenical unity and mutual understanding between the followers of all the various religions.
Perhaps it’s time to admit that these ecumenical gatherings have failed and that it’s past time for us to change our strategy and witness. Maybe it is time for Seventh-day Adventists to start prompting unity upon the word of God, unity upon the truth, unity upon the apostolic faith and unity with the principles and foundations of the kingdom of heaven. This should be our Seventh-day Adventist “witness.” When Pope Francis talks about unity and cooperation, it is never intended to include the unity of faith and doctrine. In these gatherings, church leaders attempt to find the lowest common denominator (and it’s very, very low) that all the conflicting religions can accept, while glossing over the apostasy and the gross theological errors. In the name of “love” and “unity,” they make this enormous compromise.
As Rome’s power and influence grow throughout the world, she will soon be able to implement any political or economic strategy that will further her goals and aspirations. Rome will maintain her position as the primary negotiator and mediator in social and political affairs, above all other political and religious leaders. This is exactly what prophecy predicts.
It is in the interest of every Seventh-day Adventist student of Bible prophecy to see and understand the times in which we are living. We too must also rise up and fulfill our prophetic work in reaching the world with the final warning messages found in Revelation 14:6–12. In this very time, we are either preparing for the Latter Rain or preparing for the seven last plagues. We are either helping others to “prepare to meet thy God” (Amos 4:12) or we are expressing an attitude of indifference that says, “My Lord delayeth His coming” (Matt. 24:48).
“In a special sense Seventh-day Adventists have been set in the world as watchmen and light bearers. To them has been entrusted the last warning for a perishing world. On them is shining wonderful light from the word of God. They have been given a work of the most solemn import—the proclamation of the first, second, and third angels’ messages. There is no other work of so great importance. They are to allow nothing else to absorb their attention. The most solemn truths ever entrusted to mortals have been given us to proclaim to the world. The proclamation of these truths is to be our work. The world is to be warned, and God’s people are to be true to the trust committed to them” (Testimonies, Vol. 9, p. 19).

“It is our duty, as we see the signs of approaching peril, to arouse to action. Let none sit in calm expectation of the evil, comforting themselves…We are not doing the will of God if we sit in quietude doing nothing.” 5T 713.
We have a work to do at this time to share the three angels’ message.

I wonder if we are going to send Diop to this meeting??? It would not surprise me. He is big on these “ecumenical gatherings”. I am just sick when I see what our church is doing. It is apostatizing in great numbers, right before our eyes. I can see why there are going to be so few Adventists saved in these last days!

It won’t be long
Then we’ll be leaving here
It won’t be long
We’ll be going home
Count the years as months
And count the months as weeks
And count the weeks as days
Any day now
We’ll be going home!

It’s the modern-day tower of Babel. This is mystical Babylon uniting the world into a one world political-religious system. Soon the latter rain will fall to empower the third angel. All of the signs are taking shape just as prophecy predicted. Thank you Advent Messenger for keeping us informed.

When you these things, look up for your redemption draweth nigh.
It’s time to feed our minds with the word of God for us not to be deluded. The return of Jesus is imminent and may everything hasten. I want to see Him face to face
