Our US Government spends over $2 billion dollars just to send one space rover to Mars. [1] This rover travels on the surface of the red planet transmitting video and images back to NASA scientists on earth. They are surveying the planet looking for some kind of intelligent life form.
The picture above is an image of a microscopic, single-celled organism. It has a long tail that moves every so often propelling it along. What if this one single-celled organism was found on Mars? What if the space rover sent back a video of this tiny microscopic cell with its moving tail?
Let’s be honest with ourselves. What would be the response? Oh, it would be hailed as the greatest discovery known to modern man. The media, the scientific community and the whole world would go wild. They would all unanimously declare that life has been found. Several Noble Peace Prizes would be given to the entire space project team because they would have found “proof” of the existence of life on planet Mars!
Well, what about this image? It also moves. It breathes. It has a heart. It has a working circulatory system. It has working muscles and uses them. It can hear. It feels. “Oh, no,” say the so-called experts today. “There’s nothing there to look at. It’s just tissue.” “Oh, no” say the compromising churches, “Don’t talk about that. It’s too political.”
As plans for the next space rover mission to Mars are being made for 2020, the scientists and the experts and the world will still be looking for some kind of intelligent life form somewhere in outer space. The problem is there isn’t much intelligent life here on planet earth.
