The Fast and Furious movie franchise has become one of the most successful, popular, enduring, and highest-grossing film series of all time. With 12 movies, two short films, a 52-part animated series, and video games, the Fast and Furious movie franchise has become a global phenomenon over the past 22 years. [1]
Universal Pictures’ latest installment, Fast X, features Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) saving the Vatican from a neutron bomb that threatens to blow up the seat of the Papacy. [2] The villain in the story releases a bomb from a truck that is set to go off at the Vatican. With seconds remaining, Vin Diesel drives his car off a bridge and crashes into a crane, causing it to spin around and knock the bomb into the Tiber River before exploding, thus saving the Vatican.
After Vin Diesel saves the Vatican, a song starts playing: “Falling to my knees, oh, yeah, And now, I feel my hands tremblin’, Oh, Lord, ain’t no promise I’ll breathe again.” Then Vin Diesel says, “When Rome falls, so does the world.”
The message is clear: Fall to your knees and bow before Rome. The Vatican is the head of the world. Rome is everyone’s spiritual and administrative headquarters. The seat of the Pope must be protected for its great significance. Papal authority must not fall, or else the world will follow.
Hollywood, as the epicenter of the American film industry, wields significant influence in our society. The entertainment industry shapes our cultural values and affects how we perceive the world. And it is clear that Hollywood, along with the political, religious, media, and economic industries, is wondering after the beast and pointing the world to Rome (Revelation 13:3).
“When the Saviour saw in the Jewish people a nation divorced from God, He saw also a professed Christian Church united to the world and the papacy. And as He stood upon Olivet, weeping over Jerusalem till the sun sank behind the western hills, so He is weeping over and pleading with sinners in these last moments of time” (Review and Herald, October 8, 1901).

There’s another message from it which the script may not had intended. Babylon and what it represents, nothing will prevent its fall. Not the false prophet’s miracles, not the beast’s sorceries, not the kings of the earth and the great men in Armageddon and certainly not AI and the merchants and some Jesuit theatre and it’s conditioning of the mind to pay homage to the beast power. Those who bow to Rome will fall with her. I’m glad he confirmed that it’s “When” and not if or maybe. In other words ‘the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure’, God’s prophetic word is sure. Rev.18v21, “And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.”
Praise the Lord!! Rome is about to reign for a short season and then fall, and fall hard !!!
You have forgotten to mention what happens during credits. With the credits, they show scenes of the movie, but curiously they do not show the scene where the bridge was destroy, but show a scene that is not part of the movie. In the scene the bomb is seen falling from the sky on the obelisk of the Plaza San Pedro. Subliminary message? I don’t know. But it was weird …

He must be mind for them in searching the Scriptures and in explaining what they teach; and the advocates of false doctrines will sustain their positions by assertions agreeable to all who are seeking to evade the cross, but which have no foundation in the Scriptures. Such assertions serve, however, to deceive those who are themselves ignorant both of the Scriptures and of the power of God. The preacher spices his discourse with humorous remarks presenting the truth in a ludicrous manner and misrepresenting those who believe it. These amusing presentations please the audience, and ridicule serves to banish conviction from many minds. Often the teacher has no real knowledge of the subject he is treating upon, but the hearers accept his statements without bringing them to the test of the Scripture, and think that now they are released from the cross of obeying the truth and that they can have peace. 8LtMs, Lt 23a, 1893, par. 17
Many have accepted the truth without digging down deep to understand its foundation principles, and when it is opposed, they forget the arguments and evidences that sustain it. It should be impressed upon all that true and abiding knowledge can be gained only by earnest labor and persevering energy. Were the minds of the people brought under discipline by thorough searching of the Scriptures, there would be hundreds converted to the truth where there is one today. Ellen white makes it quite clear that the only thing that destroys the papacy in the end is the brightness of Christs coming. So nothing like what happens in fast and furious will ever transpire or come to fruition. The character Don is quite correct.. when Rome falls, the world falls.
“ The man of sin, the papacy, is to be destroyed with the brightness of Christ’s coming. And, at the same time, those that know not God, the heathen, and those that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, will perish under the vengeance of flaming fire that attends the revelation of the Son of God from heaven. When the heathen, the papists, and all others who do not obey the gospel of Christ, shall be destroyed, there cannot be one wicked person living. SEADV 5.3”
