Adventist Record is the official news source for the South Pacific Division of Seventh-day Adventists. On September 30, 2021, Adventist Record published a story about a Seventh-day Adventist named Pelenise Alofa, a graduate of Pacific Adventist University in Papua New Guinea and Avondale University in Australia. The story went on to describe how Pelenise Alofa received a “Commonwealth Points of Light” award from the UK Prime Minister’s office for her work and dedication in raising awareness of the climate change crisis on an “international level.” [1]
The local news media in Fiji describes Pelenise Alofa as “one of the foremost advocates for climate action from across the Pacific.” In an interview with the Fiji Sun, Pelenise Alofa gave credit for this “Commonwealth Points of Light” award to her “mentors,” her “pikininis” (children) and her “partners in climate change action.” Notice what the Adventist climate change activist had to say in her interview:
“Oilei (wow), what a wonderful surprise and honour to be receiving the Point of Light award from Her Majesty the Queen … I also want to share this honour with my mentors from the ‘Live & Learn International’, Pacific Calling Partnership, USP/PACE-SD, Pacific Adventist University, Pacific Islands Association of NGOs, to my pikininis (children) from the Pacific Climate Warriors, Kiribati Health Retreat and Pacific CAN, to my partners in climate change action – Unitarian Universalist Secretariat Committee, CARE, PLAN, OXFAM, Greenpeace, to my Elders the Banaban Elders & Landowners Association, and to the Government of Kiribati and the Kiribati National Experts Group.” [2]

So who are Pelenise Alofa’s mentors? One of these mentors is the Pacific Calling Partnership (PCP). Pelenise Alofa not only collaborates with the Pacific Calling Partnership (see Facebook post above), but she is also part of them. [3] And below you will see the PCP, Pelenise Alofa’s mentoring organization, calling people to join Pope Francis for Laudato Si’ Week.

When Seventh-day Adventist Pelenise Alofa received her “Commonwealth Points of Light Award” from Her Majesty the Queen, she also thanked her “pikininis” or children. Who exactly are Pelenise Alofa’s children? She specifically mentioned the Pacific Climate Warriors. Below are the young climate activists (pikininis) from the Pacific Climate Warriors who have basically been adopted by Pelenise Alofa. And what did these children do? Well, they traveled to the Vatican to celebrate the leadership of Pope Francis and His encyclical on climate change, Laudato Si’. [4]
The Pacific Island Warriors expressed the following during their visit to the Vatican:
“We have come from the Pacific Islands to celebrate the leadership of Pope Francis on climate change … In his encyclical on the environment, Pope Francis has warned of an ‘unprecedented destruction of ecosystems’ and ‘serious consequences for all of us’ if humanity fails to act on climate change. The encyclical served to reinforce the ethical and economic shift we urgently need in order to prevent catastrophic climate change and tackle growing inequality” [4]
Finally, Pelenise Alofa shared her “Commonwealth Points of Light Award” with her “partners in climate change action.” Who exactly are these partnering organizations? She named the Unitarian Universalist Secretariat Committee, CARE, OXFAM, Greenpeace and others. What do they stand for and what are their views on climate change?
Well, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee said the following:
“The Unitarian Universalist Association and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee therefore applaud Pope Francis for focusing the world’s attention on the threat of climate change by issuing ‘Laudato Si’ or ‘Praise Be to You,’ a papal letter addressed not just to Catholics but to ‘every person living on this planet.’ We are especially gratified by the Pope’s emphasis … We wholeheartedly agree with the Pope’s statement … Many faiths, one Earth. We stand with Pope Francis on climate change.” [5]
What do the other “partners in climate change” say? Greenpeace said the following:
“Putting the ethics back at the heart of the environmental argument, the Laudato Si encyclical used the IPCC (UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Report) assessment as the basis for this theological discourse … It’s not just a strong message to the 1.2 billion Catholics in the world, it is, in a way, the sounding of Gabriel’s horn for everyone, everywhere … For Greenpeace, which has been campaigning on climate change for the past 25 years, this encyclical is good news. [6]
Here is what OXFAM said:
The pope is clear that we all have a responsibility to take action to curb climate change, declaring that polluting the water, soil, air are all sins. The call today by Pope Francis in his transformational papal encyclical on the environment, reminds us that climate change is first and foremost about people … only when world leaders and indeed all of us heed the pope’s moral leadership on climate change and inequality, will our societies become safer, more prosperous and more equal. [7]
And how about CARE? Well, CARE goes one step further. CARE did an interview with a young woman named Dircia Sarmento. She is a Laudato Si’ animator. Laudato Si’ animators are people who live by the Laudato Si’ principles in their lives and work to share those principles in their communities. So, in the interview with CARE, Dircia Sarmento encourages people who want to get involved in climate justice to become Laudati Si’ animators and promote the Pope’s encyclical. Dircia says she has already recruited 50 people. CARE also offers links for people to get involved. [8]
Adventist Record, the official news publication of the South Pacific Division, is promoting a Seventh-day Adventist climate activist who is part of the Laudato Si’ climate movement. Pelenise Alofa has pro Laudato Si’ mentors, children (young climate change activists) and partners. We are providing a platform to church members who are actively working with others to implement Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato Si’. And the Pope’s encyclical calls for Sunday to be the day of rest for creation. Have those who are helping to establish the mark of the beast now become the new heroes of Adventism?
How do we promote Saturday, the true Lord’s Day, and Sunday, the Catholic day of rest at the same time? Can anyone explain that? It is incomprehensible that Seventh-day Adventists can turn their backs on God’s message, the Three Angels’ Messages, and dedicate their lives to promoting the climate change message of Laudato Si’, the Pope’s green Sunday law. Why can’t our church publications and the leaders who run our media see this major conflict of interest? You cannot mix the faith of the remnant people with the wine of Babylon. Rather than promoting the heresies of Laudato Si’, we must warn people to flee from the wrath that will come if they receive the mark of the beast.
“If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb.” Revelation 14:9, 10.
This new mission to promote Laudato Si’ to save the planet is part of the Omega of apostasy. The core messages of Revelation 14:6-12 are being replaced by the new climate change agenda. We are now fully committed to saving the environment and helping teach people about sustainable development. Where did we get this new assignment from? Inspiration? The Bible or the Spirit of Prophecy? The only two sources of inspiration for us today are completely silent on this subject. It is Rome that has decreed this new work for us. In fact, instead of joining this movement, God says to come out from among them:
“The first day of the week is not a day to be reverenced. It is a spurious sabbath, and the members of the Lord’s family cannot participate with the men who exalt this day” (Last Day Events, 127).
“To stand in defense of truth and righteousness when the majority forsakes us, to fight the battles of the Lord when champions are few—this will be our test. At this time we must gather warmth from the coldness of others, courage from their cowardice, and loyalty from their treason. The nation will be on the side of the great rebel leader. The test will surely come … the observance of an institution of the papacy would be enforced upon the people by a Sunday law, while the sanctified rest day of Jehovah would be trampled underfoot” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, pp.136, 137).

Samuel Kimani Njoroge says
In the book of Great controversy pg:608 Sister White says that as the final storm approaches those who profess to believe in the third angels message will finally compromise and denounce their faith and will join ranks with the world and will become greatest enemies of the truth. So ,dear friends we have more to fear from within than from without. Many SDA’S will receive the mark of the beast not because they did not observe the right sabbath but because they were not trully converted.Very soon christendom world is going to be divided into two classes those who will observe the seventh day sabbath saturday and those who observe who observe first day of the week sunday . IF you observe the seventh sabbath saturday you will receive the seal of God, and those who observe first day of the week sunday will receive the mark of the beast.

We should seriously and loudly sound the last warning message in Rev 18:4 to the dying world

The question is asked “How do we promote Saturday the true Lord’s day, and Sunday, the catholic day of rest at the same time? Who can explain that?
There are two attempts to explain it that I am aware of:
Firstly the Seventh Day Adventist church manual South pacific division supplement pages 293 -297. Seeks to explain why in some areas Seventh Day Adventists keep Sunday rather than Saturday.
Secondly a short kindle book available on amazon called ‘The great contradiction: contemporary sabbath keeping in a global village’ by Robert Vincent and John Wallace. Seeks to explain how Seventh Day Adventists could keep Saturday consistently all over the world in accordance with God’s word.

The indigenous people around the world are being used by the climate movement as an example of living in harmony with nature,
Whilst cashing in on that character attribute,
Greta working for the man of sin, demonise Western civilisation brining about a more expensive way of life for the poorer classes,
And the big businesses that the Vatican is in bed with that rape the planet sell their products for more than ever before,
Climate science is a total con job, Christ will return and destroy this planet in the process and there is nothing they can do about that.
