Rome is creating a universal family that embraces, affirms, and recognizes all belief systems. According to Pope Francis’ encyclical, every religious and spiritual tradition, regardless of its origin, is valid and is part of the divine path that leads us to the same God. The goal is to establish the concept that no single religion or belief system has a monopoly on truth. Every belief is unique. All perspectives must be understood and appreciated. And once we can establish mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation among the different faiths and beliefs, then we will have perfect peace and unity in our world.
On May 3, 2023, the Vatican’s Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue met with Hindus and various Christian groups to build a new family based on the encyclical Fratelli Tutti and Hindu texts. The Vatican published the following:
“About fifty-five participants representing the Christian and Hindu religious traditions in Europe gathered in Rome for a meeting on the theme ‘Hindus and Christians in Europe: Building together a fraternity-based new humanism.’ The meeting, which was the first of its kind, took place yesterday and was organized by the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue in collaboration with the Hindu Forum of Europe, the Italian Hindu Union and the World Council of Churches.” [1]
“Participants reflected on the changing dynamics of the Hindu-Christian relationship in Europe and envisaged ways of enhancing cooperation on issues that would foster human flourishing through interreligious dialogue, solidarity and hospitality. It was acknowledged that the Hindu concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the whole world is one family) and Pope Francis’s Encyclical Letter Fratelli Tutti serve as compasses to guide Hindus and Christians towards a ‘new humanism’ in an increasingly intercultural and interreligious Europe. Participants also had the opportunity today to take part in the General Audience of the Holy Father.” [1]
The Vatican is determined to create its new universal fraternity. In order to accomplish this, there must be interfaith dialogue with all the religious faiths. The problem with Hinduism is that this belief system embraces the pagan gods Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Ganesh, and 330 million other gods. [2] God has not called His church to dialogue but to evangelize the world with the gospel. The Bible clearly states that God will not share His glory with the false gods of this earth:
“I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” Isaiah 42:8.
Tragically, in Rome’s universal fraternity, the truth of God’s word is hidden and trampled upon. That is what happens in interfaith dialogue. In ecumenism, everything is discussed except the present truth that God has for this time. Instead of truth, eastern pagan philosophy is promoted. The Vatican has embraced the Hindu idea of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which means:
“Vasudeva kutumbakam – sometimes spelled vasudhaiva kutumbakam – is a phrase from the Hindu text the Maha Upanishad that is typically translated as ‘the world is one family’ … The term comes from the ancient Sanskrit vasudeva, which means the Eternal Reality, and kutumbaka, meaning ‘family.’ In the alternate spelling, vasudha means the Earth. The overall meaning of the expression is the same – that all of the world, universe or reality is one … It affirms the worth of all life – human, animal and plants – and the value of their interconnectedness on Earth and in the universe.” [3]
The idea that we are one with the universe (material world), one with the source of all existence (God), and that everything is connected and interdependent is the foundation of Hindu philosophy. This is pure pantheism and paganism, and all of these ideas are making their way into the Christian churches through ecumenism. In fact, these ideas are at the foundation of Rome’s universal fraternity:
“When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near” (Testimonies, Vol. 5, p. 451).
We don’t need Rome’s new universal family with all of its pantheistic expressions and human traditions. We need the family that Jesus Christ established when He said: “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” Matthew 10:34. We need the family of God, which requires baptism in order to become a member: “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” John 3:5.
There is only one family that we must become part of, and that is the family of Jesus, which is comprised of only those who fulfill God’s will:
“While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” Matthew 12:46-50.
The problem with the Vatican’s universal fraternity is that you don’t have to believe in the gospel, be baptized, or do anything else to join because everyone is already connected to each other and to Mother Earth, Brother Sun, and Sister Moon. Pope Francis will nonetheless continue on with his mission to build bridges with Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Protestantism, and indigenous faiths in spite of the lack of biblical truth. God tells us that the world is being united into one body:
“The line of distinction between professed Christians and the ungodly is now hardly distinguishable. Church-members love what the world loves, and are ready to join with them; and Satan determines to unite them in one body, and thus strengthen his cause by sweeping all into the ranks of Spiritualism. Papists, who boast of miracles as a certain sign of the true church, will be readily deceived by this wonder-working power; and Protestants, having cast away the shield of truth, will also be deluded. Papists, Protestants, and worldlings will alike accept the form of godliness without the power, and they will see in this union a grand movement for the conversion of the world, and the ushering in of the long-expected millennium” (Great Controversy, p. 588).

Read the first 3 points The Catholic Doctrine of Trinity is ironically Antitrinitarianism!
When Antitrinitarians told people who believe in The Godhead that they are practicing Catholic Trinity worship 3 fingers were pointing back at themselves.

* It is not essential for us to be able to define just what the Holy Spirit is…The nature of the Holy Spirit is a mystery. Men cannot explain it, because the Lord has not revealed it to them. Men having fanciful views may bring together passages of Scripture and put a human construction on them, but the acceptance of these views will not strengthen the church. Regarding such mysteries, which are too deep for human understanding, silence is golden. The Acts of the Apostles, Page 51-52:
Is the word anti trinitarian, or trinity in the bible? or in Ellen White’s writing?
If not, we need to go beyond what the Bible teaches.
While we cannot know what the Holy Spirit is, we know who He is. And that is sufficient for me now:
We want the Holy Spirit, which is Jesus Christ. If we commune with God, we shall have strength and grace and efficiency. 9LtMs, Lt 66, 1894
