There is a death toll that few seem to care about or even acknowledge. There is a greater curse that is destroying countless lives that is largely being ignored. According to the World Health Organization, around 56 million abortions are performed every year worldwide. [1] And unlike the coronavirus, there is no end in sight for the cursed pandemic of abortion procedures.
The world’s response to the coronavirus has revealed a lot about who we are as a society. In March 2020, when there were approximately 100,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus with fewer than 10,000 deaths worldwide, society went into lockdown. In a matter of weeks we saw mass hysteria, toilet paper and food hoarding, stay-at-home-orders, travel bans, civil and religious rights suspended, businesses closed, 26 million people put out of work, livelihoods destroyed and our economy collapsed.
This is what we will do to save lives during the coronavirus outbreak. But there are no lockdowns for 56 million abortions. No travel bans, no stay-at-home orders and no destruction of the economy. Why is society not responding so urgently against the worst moral pandemic in our world today: the abortion industry? The abortion industry makes the coronavirus outbreak look like a fun day at the zoo.
The abortion industry has more blood on its hands than all the concentration camps Hitler established, and we had a Second World War to close those death camps down. Today, 56 million human lives created by God are unjustly destroyed every year. This tragedy is the greatest crime against humanity that our world has ever known. It is much worse than the sum of all the epidemics in history.
Today, corrupt politicians are ready to destroy the economy to combat the coronavirus crisis. Where is the same resolve and compassion to save the lives of children who are killed daily by the abortion industry? We have governors, mayors and police departments that jail people in the name of “public health” for simply going to the beach, playing in the park or going to church. However, these same politicians do nothing while millions of innocent human babies are killed by having their skulls crushed by abortionists.
How can we even claim that we are defending an interest in public health when we have tax-funded death camps in our nation? What is even more revolting is that there are so many Christians and churches that profess to defend human rights and say and do NOTHING while human lives are butchered and sold for body parts. Don’t even talk about human rights if you’re going to remain morally silenced and indifferent to the abortion industry’s utter disregard for human life.
56 million abortions each year is the current body count! This is a mass extermination and bloodshed on a scale never known to mankind. And our generation is guilty of building monuments and facilities to carry out the systematic forced removal and death of a protected group within society – our children.
Perhaps we should call the unborn, “undocumented immigrant children who are trying to cross the border of the birth canal and are at risk of being deported by Nazi abortion doctors.” If Congress legally classified the unborn with this new designation, then perhaps corrupt politicians would give the unborn the right to a chance at life and end the culture of death.
