On Sunday, February 27, 2022, Seventh-day Adventists joined an interfaith prayer group in front of the San Mercuriale Catholic Cathedral in the city of Flori, Italy. The Catholic Church of Forli-Bertinoro organized the event in collaboration with the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic community, and “all believers of other faiths” and “all people of good will” were invited. The theme of the gathering was called “United for Peace.” [1]

Gian Luca Zattini, the Mayor of Forli, Italy, shared the above Facebook post that says:
“No to war. Yes to peace. Yesterday afternoon, in the churchyard of the Basilica of San Mercuriale, hundreds of people, Christians and believers of other faiths, gathered in prayer to say NO to war, invoke peace in Ukraine and show solidarity with the people who are experiencing dramatic moments” (Facebook post).
The mayor stands with the interfaith clergy.
In addition to Roman Catholics and Ukrainian Greek Catholics, there were also “representatives” present from the “Islamic community,” the “Romanian and Moldovan Orthodox communities,” and the “Adventist Church.” [2]
Enrico Casadio is the Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Forli-Bertinoro. He also serves as the Director of the Diocesan Office for Ecumenism and Dialogue. [3] In his address to the interfaith participants at the “United in Peace” ecumenical event, he invoked Pope Francis:
“We are here to say no to war – he explained -, to pray together, ask for peace because, as the Pope said, whoever makes war eliminates humanity and God is with the peacemakers.” [4]
The rainbow flag symbolizes solidarity, inclusion, and equality of all sexualities, genders, religions, races and cultures.
A Roman Catholic Bishop, Monsignor Livio Corazza, sent a message to the “United in Peace” ecumenical prayer service. He also praised Pope Francis’ commitment to building a fraternity based on the principle that “we are all brothers.”
“I am on my way back from the conference on peace in the Mediterranean which was held in Florence, in communion with Pope Francis and which saw the presence of bishops and mayors of large cities in the Mediterranean. I am with you for this meeting of peace and solidarity with the Ukrainian peoples.”
“The bitterness of Pope Francis, and which we feel and make humanly and profoundly our own, as well as the pain and dismay of all men of good will, are the reason that brings us all together for peace.”
“We need to build a future of peace for all. But we will not let hate take over us, we will not allow hatred to infect us, because the vaccine of evil is fraternity. We are not and we do not want to consider others as enemies, because we are all brothers.” [5]
These Roman Catholic leaders are laboring for the Pope’s universal fraternity on an emotional, political, and religious level. They are exploiting the recent war in Ukraine not only to pray for peace and to end these hostilities, but also to promote Pope Francis’ one-world religious brotherhood. Ultimately, this is an attempt to persuade the audience that we need to return to Rome.
Rome is manipulating the Ukrainian tragedy to bring the churches together. Make no mistake about it. Pope Francis is using the situation in Ukraine, as he has exploited the Covid pandemic and the climate disaster, to pave the way for the installation of the papal new world order and the Antichrist-led government foretold in Revelation 13 and 17. The whole world is being gathering into one big unholy alliance through war, terror, pandemics, and natural disasters.
“The professed Protestant world will form a confederacy with the man of sin, and the church and the world will be in corrupt harmony” (Bible Commentary, 7:975).
This “corrupt” union will bring about the final conflict. There are two parties being developed in these last days, not just one ecumenical family. On one side is the beast—who receives its power from the dragon, who glorifies herself and exalts herself above God, and who has attempted to change His law. The whole world has been mesmerized and is wondering after her—in worship, in fellowship, in partnership, and in friendship.
On the other side are God’s faithful remnant people who fear Him and give glory to Him (Revelation 14:7). God is calling His SDA people to have a completely different experience than the one seen in the modern ecumenical movement. He is calling us to an experience of unity in the Three Angels’ Messages. We are called to believe in these messages, to proclaim them and to persuade all men everywhere to obey them. We are to be faithful in keeping His commandments and in giving His final message of warning, in spite of all the opposition and challenges. May God help us to sever these relationships and to take a stand for the truth and to stay the course towards heaven.
“The Lord is about to punish the world for its iniquity. He is about to punish religious bodies for their rejection of the light and truth which has been given them. The great message, combining the first, second and third angels’ messages, is to be given to the world. This is to be the burden of our work. Those who truly believe in Christ will openly conform to the law of Jehovah. The Sabbath is the sign between God and His people, and we are to make visible our conformity to the law of God by observing the Sabbath. It is to be the mark of distinction between God’s chosen people and the world” (Kress Collection, 105).

We know from history that the papacy starts all these wars, then uses them to bring the world together! Nothing new under the sun! It is so disgusting to know how evil and wicked the papacy is, and what they are really doing behind the scenes. No wonder God has absolutely nothing good to say about the catholic church. She is of the devil, and does his biding.
“Come out of her my people” keeps ringing in my ears as time is drawing to a close. People are being led down the road to perdition. and don’t even know it. This is only the beginning of sorrows. Wait until the Lord strikes this country (USA) with His vengeance. There will be no one to come to our aid. It will rock the world. This country is not prepared for such an event.
