USA Today is one of the world’s most widely read newspapers. Along with a digital edition, the USA Today is available in print format in all 50 states, as well as in Asia, Canada, Europe, and the Pacific Islands. On February 11, 2023, the USA Today published an article that openly advocated for the Super Bowl game to be played on Saturday rather than Sunday. The newspaper expressed the following:
“For far too long, we’ve endured the sleepiness and moderate gastrointestinal distress that accompanies waking up Monday after the Super Bowl. It’s time for a change, America.” [1]
“Super Bowl Sunday is always followed by Misery Monday. So I’m sure most rational, football-loving Americans will agree one of the following two things should happen immediately: 1) The Super Bowl should be played on Saturday, not Sunday. 2) If the Super Bowl is on Sunday, the next day — which according to my extensive research is Monday — should be declared a national holiday so everyone can get some rest and begin a nacho-cheese detox program.” [1]
This plays right into the hands of the Sunday rest movement because they are promoting Rome’s political and religious ideology without realizing the implications of their words. There are several reasons why people want the Super Bowl to be played on Saturday rather than Sunday.
1. Most Americans regard Sunday as a day of rest and relaxation. People incorrectly associate this day with the seventh day of the week or the end of the workweek, and thus believe it is a time to unwind and recharge before the start of a new week.
2. Many see Super Bowl Sunday as taking place on a “school night,” when kids have to get up early the next morning. Advocates for moving the Super Bowl to Saturday argue that it would allow people to enjoy the game without worrying about work or school the next day. This would also make it easier for people to attend Super Bowl parties and events without having to worry about staying up late and getting up early the next day.
3. And still others see Sunday as a religious day of worship. Many Christian traditions incorrectly refer to Sunday as the Lord’s Day, when believers gather to worship, pray, and reflect on their faith. As a result, there is a concerted effort to make Sunday work-free so that people can participate in religious activities more fully.
The decision by USA Today to advocate moving the Super Bowl from Sunday to Saturday is actually enabling Sunday rest advocates to achieve their goals and advance their cause. They are engaging in dangerous religious propaganda, which will lead to a crisis that they are not expecting. Whether they are doing this on purpose or by chance, this only strengthens Rome’s cause. The media is being manipulated and exploited as a pawn to provide free advertising for the ideological teachings of the Beast Power of Revelation 13.
“As we work with all our might, our trust must be in God. Sooner or later Sunday laws will be passed. But there is much for God’s servants to do to warn the people. This work has been greatly retarded by their having to wait and stand against the devisings of Satan, which have been striving to find a place in our work. We are years behind” (Review and Herald, February 16, 1905).

These are the last days of the world history. The bible says,he shall force people to worship the first beast. It is always important to obey God rather than man. Remember to keep the Sabbath day holy, says our God.period.

They eyes of the world are on the Super Bowl. If somehow they can do this, you know everyone else will follow.

USA Today needs to be contacted to contradict what they said and why. As Sabbath keeping people we need to speak out instead of turn a blinds eye. Media outlets need to think twice before blabbering on about Sunday rest. None of them know what they’re talking about.

The churches would love this. We know where all of this is leading.

The Vatican does not get involved with prominent people, institutions, or organizations it does not plan to influence and or control altogether. Much like politicians or governments. Both of which Vatican officials basically are and or represent.
