On August 23, 2021, less than a month ago, West Virginia Governor Jim Justice gave a report on the increase in Covid-19 cases in his state for those who were fully vaccinated. The numbers cover a period of 8 weeks. What he revealed are just the facts about the increase in positive Covid-19 cases. He does not express his personal opinion on this matter. In fact, Governor Jim Justice is in favor of vaccines, saying that West Virginia led the nation in the distribution of Covid-19 vaccines. He also expressed that his state was one of the first to be vaccinated. So here are the sobering numbers and what Governor Jim Justice revealed:
- “26% increase in positive cases of people that are fully vaccinated over the last 8 weeks.”
- “21% increase in “breakthrough cases” requiring hospitalization for people that are fully vaccinated.”
- “25% increase in deaths of people that are fully vaccinated over the last 8 weeks.”
- “Now that’s not a 25% increase of the total numbers, it is a 25% increase of deaths of people that are fully vaccinated over the last 8 weeks” (YouTube Video).
The governor asked for prayers for loved ones who had tested positive for Covid-19 and asked those 65 and older to get tested if they had any unusual health problems. But it certainly appears that this is an admission that the vaccine is not working because it does not prevent people who are fully vaccinated from contracting, transmitting or dying from Covid-19. And it also shows that the vaccine does not slow down Covid-19 outbreaks or new positive cases among fully vaccinated people.
Despite these facts, President Joe Biden announced to the world that we are in a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” [1], and the head of the European Union describes the current crisis as a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” [2]. However, blaming the unvaccinated for the pandemic is not based on facts but on politics. Politicians want to stigmatize and defame the unvaccinated and blame them for any resurgence of positive Covid-19 cases. Clearly, this only promotes misinformation because those who are fully vaccinated play an important role in new Covid-19 cases, transmissions and deaths. The pandemic involves all people, both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated.
A study was published in July 2021 that debunked the myth that fully vaccinated people who were infected with Covid-19 had lower levels of the virus than non-vaccinated people. This study on the Covid-19 outbreaks “concluded that vaccinated people who got so-called breakthrough infections carried about the same amount of the coronavirus as those who did not get the shots.” [3]
There is a lot of misinformation and this is causing people to get the wrong message, namely, that if you’ve been vaccinated, everything can return to normal. That is not true. But instead of changing the message when it comes to “breakthrough cases” (when fully vaccinated people get Covid-19), the CDC and other experts will continue to push propaganda instead of facts. Some want to divide our nation and start the next Civil War: Vaccinated vs. the Unvaccinated. So much indignation is being misplaced against the unvaccinated in the US, and this growing ignorance and politics is putting our nation at even a greater risk.

When I go to town, I find that everyone, even strangers, start talking about this issue. So often, people will mention that someone in their family had the jab, and now is a “delta variant” breakthrough case, very ill. I know of some who have deep regrets for getting the jab because of side effects. Others, strangers, will share how they will never ever submit to it. These are golden moments for sharing Christ….I pray He will help me to be faithful and effective at doing so. These are the people the elite want eliminated… but they are the precious souls for whom Christ died.
