When Society Betrays Its Most Innocent for Money and Fame

It’s a runway disaster when kids as young as 5 years-old are modeling lingerie at fashion shows. This says a lot about the deep levels of corruption and perversion our society has fallen to. There is little question that the modeling industry exploits young and vulnerable girls with promises of money and fame. The truth is that it is one of the most dangerous and abusive industries that is permeated with sexual harassment, drugs and alcohol, physical and emotional abuse, outrageous fees, stolen pay and no one to turn to for help.

But when we are talking about a child who cannot give consent is paraded around  in a sexual manner so that their parents and sponsors can make money – it cannot get much worse than this. Our culture has hit rock bottom. These kids don’t know any better and it’s up to the grown-ups to protect them.

The moral principles of respect, self-worth, honor and modesty are being replaced with a new set of values. Children are being taught that good looks, a sexy body, jewelry, expensive clothes, being in the spotlight and money are the important things of life.

Then you have the Kardashians who are making millions exploiting their sexuality and values upon women and children. They have begun selling “bikinis” and “leopard skin & lace” outfits for little girls.

What has happened to our thinking? Have we lost our conscience? These clothing lines and events are not done in a vacuum. There is a lot of investments, planning and development that goes into these products and fashion shows. It’s not just the parents. It’s our entire culture that has lost its way. We have become a generation of lost souls that can’t sell our values quick enough for the almighty dollar.

We need to change our corrupt way of thinking. This is the only answer for our sick generation.

“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:7-9.
