By Robert Richardson
My wife and I came from Presbyterian roots, until we were introduced to the Seventh-day Adventist message in 1966. After six months of Bible studies, we were both baptized at the Helm Avenue SDA Church in Clovis California in 1967. I was 36 years old and my wife was 26. For the first time in our lives, we both saw the difference between God’s truth and what was taught in the fallen Protestant churches, and the first ten years were a spiritual honeymoon experience. Biblical truth, the Three Angels Messages were preached and taught all over the world in the same way.
But from 1976 and onwards, strange things began to happen within the church. We realized that the pillars of our faith were not being presented as in the past. Our historic message and preaching was neutralized, our outreach seminars were increasingly rare. I found that I needed to speak and teach more in defense of our old standards and pillars of our faith, and as far as the last two messages of the Three Angels messages were concerned, they were no longer even being heard from our sacred desk.
Now we turn to the time period of Ted Wilson’s tenure, and I know he had nothing to do with the meetings that compromised our ancient doctrines and pillars of our faith during the 1950s with Walter Martin and Donald Barnhouse, well known Protestant leaders. Sad to say, if there was any event that launched our church into the Omega apostasy and its downward fall, it was this travesty that took place 70 years ago. Biblical truth was denied and compromised, and this has been that cause for the worldwide spiritual decline in the Seventh-day Adventist Church from that time to the present. Presidents past and present, including Ted Wilson, refused to eliminate all the spiritual errors that arose and taught the following:
- There is no investigative judgment
- Jesus did not come in the likeness of our sinful flesh
- Christ was exempt
- God did not send His Son in order to demonstrate that man can keep the law
- We cannot overcome Satan by the power of Christ
- We don’t really know what the Mark of the Beast is
- That Christ’s atonement was completed at the Cross
- There is no atonement in the Heavenly Sanctuary
- The Three Angels Messages are outdated
When fully studied, the above points of doctrine will define the correct understanding of the Seventh-day Adventist faith and will stand as biblical truth under investigation, yet they were purposely compromised to satisfy the Protestant churches. Every SDA president from 1957 until now had the opportunity to correct the mistakes that were allowed to be perpetrated in our church by those of our own leadership without any “Thus saith the Lord” to support their actions, except a true pastor, M.L. Andreasen, who was willing to speak out. President Ted Wilson has also quietly given his approval to all the errors contained in the book Questions on Doctrine and thus has contributed to the free fall of our church during his presidency, resulting in a heretical compromise in everything God’s people are supposed to stand on to carry out the Reformation, to correct all the errors that the papal church has imposed on the world and to save those who respond to God’s call, “Come out of her, my people.”
But instead, Ted Wilson remains silent on what has taken place in the past apostasies and those in the present. The list below falls completely under the presidency of Ted Wilson:
1. Embracing the new Mother Earth pantheistic teachings prevalent in the climate change movement.
2. Embracing the gay pride movement within our churches, schools and hospitals
3. Our medical institutions providing transgender related services
4. Our medical institutions partnering with the wine/alcohol industry
5. Our medical institutions partnering with professional sports and entertainment industries
6. Our churches embracing the Ecumenical Charter and Eucharistic Unity
7. Rebellious unions ordaining women with impunity
8. Promoting the principles of the Great Global Reset
9. Administrators and university professors teaching that Sunday is not the mark of the beast
10. Replacing the book, Great Controversy, with the Great Hope (Hoax)
11. Creating interfaith spaces with Jesuits
12. Church partnerships with FEMA to provide mass vaccination services for the population
13. Celebrating the UN’s Mother Earth Day
14. Unions fully committing to Laudato Si’
15. Denying the National Sunday Book to the world
16. Embracing Interfaith Easter Sunrise Services
17. Promoting Easter Eggs to mark the resurrection on Sunday
18. Building solidarity with Rome in different ecumenical engagements
19. Becoming an agency of the United Nations to promote its Sustainable Development Goals
20. Taking millions of dollars from Cesar’s PPP money
21. Partnerships with Disney to promote Magic
22. Alliances with radical, pro-abortion feminists organizations
23. Heeding the Pope’s call to celebrate Week of Christian unity every year
24. Our failure to seek to end abortion
25. Our health institutions embracing the spirit of Halloween
26. Our health institutions promoting flesh foods
27. Political agendas invading the church
28. Religious liberty leaders doing nothing when religious and civil liberties are under attack
29. An unwillingness to do anything about these matters
30. Complete silence, indifference, neutrality and complacency
In this short list of recorded historical events, my question to President Ted Wilson is this: What will you say to the thousands, or hundreds of thousands or even millions of Seventh-day Adventists who will be lost because of your failure to speak up? Our GC secretary has retired. Our GC treasurer also retired. President Wilson, all these things are happening under your watch and care, and the first thing about leadership is that YOU are responsible. At a bare minimum, you can’t remain in hibernation. If you don’t speak up, then do the honorable thing and retire as well.

In my humble opinion we have been infiltrated by the catholic church. No true Bible believing Seventh-Day Adventist would sit by and allow such unbiblical things to take place in our SDA body. Remember we have more to fear from within then from without. Praying that eyes will be open before its to late.

This is a False issue about the stand of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We strongly uphold our stand with unwavering commitment to the tenets of our church.

“Some will not bear this straight testimony. They will rise up against it, and this is what will cause a shaking among God’s people.” {EW 270.2}.
Too many mistake the “straight testimony” for fanaticism.
“Many of the wicked were greatly enraged as they suffered the effects of the plagues. It was a scene of fearful agony. Parents were bitterly reproaching their children, and children their parents, brothers their sisters, and sisters their brothers. Loud, wailing cries were heard in every direction, “It was you who kept me from receiving the truth which would have saved me from this awful hour.” The people turned upon their ministers with bitter hate and reproached them, saying, “You have not warned us. You told us that all the world was to be converted, and cried, Peace, peace, to quiet every fear that was aroused. You have not told us of this hour; and those who warned us of it you declared to be fanatics and evil men, who would ruin us.” But I saw that the ministers did not escape the wrath of God. Their suffering was tenfold greater than that of their people. {EW 282.1}
Thank you Advent Messenger for being faithful watchmen. Truth is so rare and all the more precious in these times.

Wish God would put a man in as president of the General Conference (in fact EVERY conference) cut from the cloth of say a Dr. Colin Standish or a Joe Crews.
Praying for such!

I notice the Catholic Trinity doctrine is not mentioned. The pioneers and early teaching denied this.
Mark Shipowick says
I also noticed the anti-trinity doctrine is not mentioned. The scriptures and Ellen White uphold the three person Godhead, the personhood of the Holy Spirit and teach Christ is the I AM from eternity to eternity.

Thank you Pr Bob for presenting the truth at ‘such a time as this’. Truth wasn’t popular with Cain or the billions of antideluvians, as is evident by the number on Gods ark, but truth is truth no matter how many cry ‘conspiracy theoryist’. God bless you as you continue to feed the sheep and hopefully the sheeple

1976 -Neal Wilson, President of the North American Division of SDA, gives this Sworn statement in the Silver-Tobler legal case involving the Seventh-day Adventist Church: “Although it is true that there was a period in the life of the Seventh-day Adventist Church when the denomination took a distinctly anti-Roman Catholic viewpoint, and the term, hierarchy was used in a pejorative sense to refer to the papal form of church governance, that attitude on the Church’s part was nothing more than a manifestation of widespread anti-popery among conservative protestant denominations in the early part of this century and the latter part of the last, and which has now been assigned to the historical trash heap so far as the Seventh-day Adventist Church is concerned.” Merikay McLeod lawsuit (P. 4, footnote #2, Docket Entry #84: EEOC vs. PPPA C74-2025 CBR). Sworn statement dated Feb. 6, 1976.
Neal C. Wilson, General Conference President, announces that the Church has officially adopted the Trinity doctrine, which is now number 2 in the Church’s 27 Fundamental Beliefs. He declares before the Seventh Day Adventist church that:
“…there is another universal and truly catholic organization, the Seventh-day Adventist Church.”

While agree that the Seventh-day Adventist Church leaders are not perfect and have not always fought against some of the important issues and departures from some of our church’s fundamental teachings, I disagree in this article that Pastor Ted Wilson has not confronted some of these issues listed in the article. I have listened to several of his official messages shown on YouTube and he has directly confronted and spoke on many of the serious errors being taught by some of our pastors, church leaders, and lay members in the SDA church. I would not blame him for not addressing many of the issues listed in this article. He has addressed several of these issues. As a General Conference President, I am sure he must have a balance in the messages and sermons he presents, critical of certain issues, conflicts, false teachings, departures of fundamental SDA teachings, etc., but he also must focus mostly on the hope we can have in Christ and our Lord’s love for all of his imperfect followers and the importance for each of us to live a Godly life with Christ as our example,
