Liberty is one of our most cherished possessions that must be protected. For more than 120 years, Seventh-day Adventists have worked to defend and advance the cause of religious liberty. This long-standing, time-honored work is one of the great pillars of Adventism. January 8, 2022, has been designated as “Religious Liberty Sabbath.” Two events will be taking place on this day. First of all, in Adventist churches across the world, special offerings will be collected for Ganoune Diop’s Public Affairs and Religious Liberty Department (PARL), and the following “Offertory Reading” will be read to highlight the “great” work that is being done through Liberty Magazine and through PARL’s advocacy work in behalf of “religious liberty”:

On January 8, 2022, the Public Affairs and Religious Liberty Department wants you to know that they claim to defend the right to “practice the faith” as “conscience dictates.” They want you to know that they will defend your rights even if you believe “differently” than they do. They want you to know that they believe in “individual choice.” As a result, PARL is requesting that we give them our money and do it “generously.”
This is the same religious liberty department that supports the oppressive health dictatorship that oppresses and discriminates against people. This is the same religious liberty department that speaks out in defense of animal rights but not the rights of Adventists who choose to remain Covid-19 vaccine-free. [2] This is the same Liberty Magazine that defends abortion while denying the liberty of conscience of those who have questions about vaccinations. [3] This is the same religious liberty agency whose director travels the world in order to align with Rome, the United Nations and other actors attempting to impose draconian mandates on the masses. And these “religious liberty” leaders want your money. Before you give your hard-earned money to support “religious liberty,” please consider the following inspired statement:
“Halfhearted Christians are worse than infidels; for their deceptive words and noncommittal position lead many astray. The infidel shows his colors. The lukewarm Christian deceives both parties. He is neither a good worldling nor a good Christian. Satan uses him to do a work that no one else can do” (Bible Commentary, Vol. 7, p. 963).
There was a time, long ago, when our religious liberty work was dedicated to promoting biblical truth. We used to defend the principles of Protestantism. There was a time when religious freedom found its legitimacy in the fact that it served all people indiscriminately and remained apolitical. Today, the top religious liberty leaders within Adventism are pushing left-wing, socialist, Marxist and globalist indoctrination and have aligned themselves with anti-civil, anti-freedom, anti-religious and anti-Christian organizations. At a time when so many are giving mere lip service to the principles of religious liberty, we, as a people, have the unprecedented privilege of drawing the attention of the world to this important issue.
Which brings us to the next event that will be taking place on January 7-8, 2022. Adventists have a distinctive message for this hour when liberty and the inalienable rights of individuals are being threatened on every side. The Health and Liberty Alliance is an organization founded by Seventh-day Adventists that actually does support liberty of conscience when it comes to oppressive health mandates. At their event, they will be offering free seminars and sessions on mental and spiritual health and liberty of conscience. Adventists and non-Adventists from across the nation will be there.
I contacted Chris Chung, Director of Media and Communications for the Liberty and Health Alliance, and inquired about their event in Phoenix, Arizona. He forwarded me a statement made by Scott Ritsema, General Vice President, that explains the goal of the Liberty and Health Alliance event on January 7–8, 2022. The statement reads:
Where are the voices of truth, liberty, and health in these repressive times, in this age of well-nigh universal deception?
Providentially, the ‘voice in the wilderness’ has been given a massive platform January 7-8 in Phoenix’s Chase Stadium, as Liberty and Health Alliance hosts a historic Health Summit, the biggest event of its kind since the beginning of the COVID crisis.
The Health Summit is entitled Your Right to Optimal Health and will feature national speakers, Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Ben Carson.
A free plant-based meal will be provided and free medical services offered to the community to run lab tests for an individual’s current state of health and immunity.
Seminars on liberty of conscience/mandates, immunity/early treatment, and mental & spiritual health will be provided.
As free medical services and informative seminars and speakers are brought to these attendees from all walks of life, and after they are fed (free of charge) with physical bread, we will prayerfully and enthusiastically distribute the Word of God, The Great Controversy, and Ministry of Healing – a literature distribution effort being organized by Elder Christopher Hudson.
This health-restoring and soul-winning event is a powerful fusion of both the religious liberty message (clearly relevant to our current crisis of conscience) and the health message, the right arm of the third angel’s message.
While some may simultaneously misrepresent the health message and the religious liberty work by standing idly by during this historic moment (or even worse, endorsing mass vaccination of children and the COVID-recovered and mandating such experimental coerced medical procedures), the supporters of Liberty and Health Alliance are stepping up to the plate to reflect God’s character and the message of the remnant church of Bible prophecy.
Due to the nature of the message of Liberty and Health Alliance and the goals of the Health Summit, much sabotage has taken place to attempt to financially cripple the event. But the event is going forward undaunted, with much help from the active and truth-minded saints. The right arm of God is establishing this message as the head, not the tail, during these prophetic times in which we live.

I completely agree. Both the United States and the Adventist people are unique in the way they came into existence. Both have stated that civil and religious rights are important to them. The Bill of Rights and the US Constitution make it plain that our country exists to serve and defend the individual. It is part of our solemn duty as Seventh-day Adventists to remind this generation of this reality. However, Bible prophecy plainly shows that the principles of liberty will be disregarded, and despite the fact that the separation of church and state is one of the Constitution’s fundamental pillars, this country will eventually see a merger of politics and religion. And apostate Protestants will lead the way, ensuring that the Papacy’s plans are carried out. As a result, active despotism, oppressive enactments, and a rejection of religious liberty will result. And this will set a precedent for all the nations who follow suit in compelling men and women to give honor and allegiance to the image of the beast. [4]
So, on January 8, 2022, will Seventh-day Adventists support liberty or oppression? Will we help to fund those working to protect our freedom, or will we continue to support efforts that will lead to the healing of the deadly wound? Will we stand with the true defenders of liberty, or will we stand with what inspiration calls the “cold,” the “cowards” and the “treasonous?” My decision is crystal clear, and I will be in Phoenix, by God’s grace, on January 7-8, 2022, to support these efforts for true liberty and freedom. My husband and I have given to Religious Liberty for 34 years! Never again!!! I hope and pray that this campaign will totally fail this year. It is not the same Religious Liberty that we have experienced over the past 100 years! It is now headed by a man that is Jesuit inspired. Please, do not give to this radical NEW Religious Liberty fund. It has gone off the rails.
Our church as a denomination must fight this inner corruption that is infiltrating our church!!! The Lord must come soon, or there won’t be an organized Seventh-day Adventist Church to spread the Three Angels Messages…………….

Last year at this time, I let the “southern union” know that I could no longer support Liberty Magazine, nor ask my fellow Church members to support it either, and will do the same this year, but also ask them not to support the religious liberty department in any way, until if and when they get on board with true religious liberty! My family and I will now be supporting the “Liberty and Health Alliance.”
God’s true, invisible church, the one recorded in the books of Heaven, will always spread the 3AM. The GC of SDA is not doing this. Like the Jews in the time of Christ, whose temple and organization was left onto them desolate, so it shall be with any entity that claims to be God’s, but is disobedient and corrupt. Plenty of ministries of true Seventh-day Adventists are doing the work, without reward and fanfare and huge tithe incomes, but getting the job done anyway.

The best way to send a clear message to the Religious Bondage department of the GC is to not even show up for service on the religious liberty Sabbath and go to a true Israelite assembly of those that are not riding the beast and in bed with the harlot of Rome. May attendance drop on religious liberty propaganda sabbath to 10% of regular attendance. May the church not become a vehicle to support and campaign for corrupt ministries.
